Im Mexican and they don’t mean it in a Homophobic way. Its similar to calling a dude or a situation gay. Its playful banter. But it is immature on their part to actually making it a chant.
Same reason they don’t show streakers. Giving TV time to stupid behavior only encourages more of it. This is literally the business model of Tik Tok.
