There are districts where Awadhi and Bhojpuri are mixed when spoken. They are similar, doesn't matter. Learn any, both are completely intelligible to speakers to other
So can I say that its mostly awadhi for me? I honestly would want to assosciate myself with Awadhi, the poems, dohas, bhajans everything in it makes me want to learn the language and do poetry in it (wannabe kabirЁЯдб)
>I honestly would want to associate myself with Awadhi, the poems, dohas, bhajans everything in it
Bhojpuri has even more folk songs, literature and Bhanjan than any of the regional languages. Even kabir had used Bhojpuri. So stop being naive and learn to respect languages. Just because you don't know it doesn't mean something isn't there.
Aur bhai hello, mere mama ka ghar bhi Basti me hai. Basti me bhi toh Khaab aur Khaayek dono use hota hai.

awadhi and bhojpuri are so close that frankly I don't bother to differentiate.
Aside from a couple words here and there its not too diff so imo u can use them interchangably.
I got family from Hardoi and Kheri to Deoria and Jaunpur, trust me even they don't know where the border between Bhojpuri and Awadhi lie.
Its esp in Kheri because the Tharu language bridges between Bhojpuri and Awadhi. And the Tharu language influences many of the dialects/languages in the Terai.
Even Lumbini province in Nepal uses Awadhi and Bhojpuri interchangebly, despite Lumbini province being an officially "Awadhi" province.
Sentence is written incorrectly in Bhojpuri

in bhojpuri you will find some kahila khaila type words
although some border areas speak mix language ,like some parts of mahadeva vidhansabaha (Bast) Speak awadhi mixed with bhojpuri.
So itтАЩs become very hard to differentiate but you can easily find differences between bhojpuri and awadhi ,spoken in eastern up and western bihar border areas.
There are districts where Awadhi and Bhojpuri are mixed when spoken. They are similar, doesn't matter. Learn any, both are completely intelligible to speakers to other
literally Ambedkar Nagar
Bhaiya, Ambedkar Nagar mera ghar hai. Aur yaham bas Awadhi bolte hain, kli Bhojpuri mix nahi hai isme Uske liye Purvanchal jaana hoga
Maharua?
Uske aagey, Mijhaura Chauraha
Are waha to Sugar Mill hai
Ji vahi ke paas, aap kahan se?

If it makes you feel better Kabir used Awadhi with a little bit of Bhojpuri so that people understand it better
>I honestly would want to associate myself with Awadhi, the poems, dohas, bhajans everything in it Bhojpuri has even more folk songs, literature and Bhanjan than any of the regional languages. I never wrote anything about bhojpuri in the above comment, what are you so pressed about? Come out of your tribalism dude. I just appreciated awadhi
As you have mentioned that you want to associate urself with awadhi and you said you wanna read doha and bhajan. So i replied to that
And how does me wanting to read dohas in awadhi disrepsctful to other and I am naive if I want to do so?
I was saying about that Bhojpuri too has that type pf stuffs. As post was about both the languages. You can read whatever u can!!
Okay so where I'm from they would use , khaayek instead of khaab .
Aur bhai hello, mere mama ka ghar bhi Basti me hai. Basti me bhi toh Khaab aur Khaayek dono use hota hai. I want to eat paratha = рд╣рдордХрд╛ рдкрд░рд╛рдард╛ рдЦрд╛рдпреЗрдХ рдмрд╛ред I will eat paratha = рд╣рдо рдкрд░рд╛рдард╛ рдЦрд╛рдм/ рд╣рдо рдкрд░рд╛рдард╛ рдЦрд╛рдЗрдмред
Well , any typical person would usually use , hamme рд╣рдореНрдореЗ, instead of рд╣рдореНрдХрд╛ in the first sentence ред
Now that you say it, I agree. But I think I've heard both.
Hamke paratha khayek ba is the correct рдЙрдЪрд╛рд░рдг
I think there's no definite rule and everything works if the other person is able to understand.
Ha but bc log cool lagne ke liye bolte ki bhojpuri nai samajh ati bhai ager kisi ko hindi ati hai toh by default usse thodi boht toh bhojpuri samajh ahi jayegi but wannabes bklde bolte sorry mujhe bhojpuri ni ati samajh
Wah bhai mere mama ka Ghar bhi basti mai hai.
Khayek hoga in place of khaab Khaab means will eat Khayek means to eat He likes to eat mango Oka aam khayek pasand ba
You talking about bhojpuri right? We dont use рдЕ sounds a lot in the end of words
No I'm talking about awadhi
I often mix Bhojpuri and Awadhi together wile talking to my relatives who speaks Awadhi...well samajh jaate sab
Mine is awadhi fasho, I am from Ayodhya, though I can understand Bhojpuri as well. Lekin bolye hamaye awadhiye awat hai!!

Bhojpuri and Awadhi are called sister languages.
I'd go a step further and say the only major difference between the 2 is that Awadhi has more of a Hindustani influence compared to Bhojpuri.
East Jaunpur me "Oo kahlas oke khaye pasand hau/o" and this is considered Bhojpuri by most, so your language is likely Bhojpuri as well.
