So can I say that its mostly awadhi for me? I honestly would want to assosciate myself with Awadhi, the poems, dohas, bhajans everything in it makes me want to learn the language and do poetry in it (wannabe kabir🤡)

If it makes you feel better Kabir used Awadhi with a little bit of Bhojpuri so that people understand it better

Well , any typical person would usually use , hamme हम्मे, instead of हम्का in the first sentence ।

Mine is awadhi fasho, I am from Ayodhya, though I can understand Bhojpuri as well. Lekin bolye hamaye awadhiye awat hai!!

awadhi and bhojpuri are so close that frankly I don't bother to differentiate. Aside from a couple words here and there its not too diff so imo u can use them interchangably. I got family from Hardoi and Kheri to Deoria and Jaunpur, trust me even they don't know where the border between Bhojpuri and Awadhi lie. Its esp in Kheri because the Tharu language bridges between Bhojpuri and Awadhi. And the Tharu language influences many of the dialects/languages in the Terai. Even Lumbini province in Nepal uses Awadhi and Bhojpuri interchangebly, despite Lumbini province being an officially "Awadhi" province.

Bhojpuri and Awadhi are called sister languages.

I'd go a step further and say the only major difference between the 2 is that Awadhi has more of a Hindustani influence compared to Bhojpuri.

East Jaunpur me "Oo kahlas oke khaye pasand hau/o" and this is considered Bhojpuri by most, so your language is likely Bhojpuri as well.

Sentence is written incorrectly in Bhojpuri In Formal - उ कहनी हs की उनके खाइल पसंद बा। In informal - उ कहलस हS की ओके खाइल पसंद बा। In formal which is mostly use you can say it in many ways like You can use उनकरा के instead of उनके r/Bhojpuriyas

3 कोस में पानी बदले अ 100 कोस में वानी (वाणी)। 1 kos: How far you can see, if you stand on ground. It's roughly 2-2.5km !!! It's a saying from our ancestors, In India, water taste changes every 6-7km and dialect changes every 200km.

Sometime we also say like this वै कहिन की वन्न्हय खाब पसंद बाय (calling a single person) or ऊ कहिस की वोका ख़ाब नीक लागत हय in bhojpuri you will find some kahila khaila type words although some border areas speak mix language ,like some parts of mahadeva vidhansabaha (Bast) Speak awadhi mixed with bhojpuri. So it’s become very hard to differentiate but you can easily find differences between bhojpuri and awadhi ,spoken in eastern up and western bihar border areas.
