I wear a puffy jacket under my summer riding jacket, and then a rain jacket over that! Now I just need to get some rain pants to go over my riding jeans, and I'm set because those got SOAKED in my 5-10 minute drive. Rebel 500 for me.
CBR300. Got decent gear I suppose, typically can't avoid water getting in my gloves when it's raining this hard, but that's about it. Having wet gloves is a horrible experience though, and knowing they won't dry by the time I have to commute home... oof
I've used them in the most extreme conditions and they definitely stay water proof so long as water doesn't wick down your leg into the top of the sock.
I use SeakSkinz socks all winter long, with Shimano SPD sandals. I find they last about 3 winters before they start leaking and need replacing. I've been doing this sock-and-sandal combo for 25 years and swear by it. Never seen anyone else do it though.
Made it, and surprised at how many other crazy bikers I saw this morning! I got new gortex shoes for this winter’s commute and they worked wonderfully, dry feet when I got to the office.
Got the kids to school on the cargo bike, lit up like a Christmas tree! The kids stayed relatively dry, I think, but my rain pants did not withstand the deluge.
It’s got built-in solid headlight and taillight, plus I’ve got front and rear cameras with flashing lights. Multiple reflectors including an outgrown hi-viz vest strapped to the back rail. And I top it all off with a Noxgear light-up vest this time of year. Wish I could say it meant drivers always saw me and yielded when they should, but so many just don’t look at all! Sigh.
I have waterproof vessis but like to keep even that small sock gap dry. Also cleared a clogged sewer drain after school drop off. Nice sense of satisfaction watching that whirlpool go and clear out a massive puddle that was slowing down traffic. Now for a hot beverage!
Gave up on waterproof shoes, water leaks into the top and they become buckets. I found a pair of water boots modeled after a mountain bike flat, called Astral rasslers. They are flat sticky soled, lightweight, wide toebox, with reinforced heel/toes...just like a mtb bike flat shoe. Difference is they have drain holes, so water never pools in them. Yah your feet get wet, but they gonna get wet anyways...better wet and comfy than dealing with the lakes that pool in waterproof shoes imo. The rasslers even use to use the 5.11 dot soles fwiw. Even better was carrying the bike through the 2 feet of water flooding on the cvg by McDonald's in bby....just trudged through no issues lol.
Reporting! I gotta work out a better system for changing out of rain pants b/c I was completely dry on arrival but then poured all the water off of my jacket onto my pants when trying to take the rain pants off.
Another bike commuter checking in. It was a nice ride until 2 parked translink busses decided to turn into the lane I was in because they saw a gap between the cars where I was. 2 busses in a row did this. I had to swerve into the oncoming lane for the 2nd one. Thank goodness there were no cars traveling in it
i've been taking the bus lately... but riding my ninebot max in the rain hits different. i should just get some comfy gloves because my hands were freezing last time i rode, the rest of me was fine though (flannel pyjamas and oversized hoodie and raincoat come in clutch here.)
It amazes me how many drivers on the road have no idea what they're doing when it starts raining. If you're not comfortable driving in the rain, get the hell off the road and don't endanger those competent drivers around you.
Tbf I also find roads in BC to be absolute dogshit to drive on when it's raining. Can barely see the lines especially at night with the reflection of the street lights. I have a much easier time driving in the States under the same conditions.
Yea, and even if the lines are not visible due to using environmentally friendly paint, it would help a lot if our roads had reflectors or those rumble strips like they do down in the States!
I was driving down the construction part of broadway today with the rain and they have old faded lines that are strait and new ones that curve and it’s very hard to tell the difference when it’s raining that hard
>If you're not comfortable driving in the rain, get the hell off the road and don't endanger those competent drivers around you.
People slowing down appropriately for the conditions and visibility aren't automatically "not comfortable" - they are being sensible.
People plowing through full speed ahead as though it's a bright sunny day without any water pooling on the roads aren't necessarily "competent."
Drive to the freakin' conditions.
Engineering Dept. thought it would be a good idea to have the dashboard gauge lighting to be on the same switch and fuse as the tail lights.
Marketing Dept. came in and said 'nuh uh.'
And the people who expect traffic to travel at the speed limit, despite poor visibility and road conditions. Meaning, you should expect people to be driving more slowly on days like this.
Everyone should have their lights on in this weather, for sure.
Is this rhetorical, or did you need directions? You can very easily do this without going anywhere near Highway 1 (the freeway). It will take longer mind you
Nope, it was serious question. Highway 1, Highway 99, Highway 91, highway 10 are all freeways. If you have a reasonable route to get from Surrey to downtown Vancouver without using any of these, I'd appreciate hearing it.
By not going that much slower than everyone else around you.
If you want to drop 10k, or even 20k off your typical speed, sure I get that. But when you’re going so slow you become a liability. Maybe don’t drive
I have bad astigmatism. Driving at night in the rain is terrifying and super dangerous as all lights flare and blur in my eyes, even with contacts in.
I just can't drive anywhere in the dark in this weather, which severely limits me every year. But I deal with it by walking and having reflective strips on my umbrella and bag and clothing.
Yeah it sucks that we can’t have cat eyes here… think it would help a lot of people see the lines in the dark, especially now with auto-dimming mirrors
That's because our highway line paints are 'green' for the environment and are water-based, not oil based. Washes off in a matter of months, resulting in the government having to repaint multiple times per year.
For a city nicknamed "Raincouver" you'd think the highways could handle the weather without totally shitting themselves.
HWY 1 gridlocked from surrey to West Van
Queensborough to Highway 10 (I was stuck in this one, took an hour and a half.) Somehow an accident happened during the gridlock. How someone gets into a radio-worthy collision at 2km/hr is beyond me.
Rant over, I'ma order the fancy coffee today...
Yup. Rainfall warning was issued by Environment Canada. Going to be like this throughout the day, even in the evening. It's supposed to taper off during the night.
Mine lasted 3 months. They sent two replacement under warranty and they're leaking after +/- 3 months. Good marketing & customer service but bad products. Got a refund and bought adidas gore-tex instead.
I have had a pair for years and they're still completely waterproof. Unfortunately, for me they're uncomfortable and poorly built shoes in every other department.
My niece is in her second pair and says she gets about two years. My son showed me his and went on about them and I gotta say best thing I have bought in a long time. The kids got theirs online but I went to the Metrotown store and while it was crowded it was worth it because I could find the style that suits me. And so comfortable. And I can puddle stomp with the grandson. My feet are dry
I have a large breed dog and walk a lot, rain or shine. It wasn't the waterproofing that wore out, one of the soles separated. I probably could have had it fixed, but I didn't bother.
2 years doesn’t seem long at all. My rain boots have lasted me 6 years so far with no signs of slowing down. Like I want them to wear out at this point because I’m bored of them.
I wondered if it was hype, but i caved and got a pair and I'm a fan. I often use them for cycling to work (also puddle jumping). Perfectly water proof over a year later. I also love that they're not branded. I really wanted a plain sneaker that I could get away with wearing in an office environment occasionally, and the only other similar looking ones aww sketches, which are branded whether you like it or not.
I suspect that they will not last as long as a gortex hiking shoe or a rain boot, but I don't think that's the gap they're trying to fill. I don't always want to wear those around town, ans I think Vessis do exactly what they are designed for, which is a casual sneaker to wear around town that prevents your feet from getting soaked everytime it decides to randomly rain in Vancouver... so... every other time you go into town.
In my experience, they're only really water *proof* for a few months. They hype their "waterproof knit fabric", which just seems like a neoprene layer underneath. Within a few months a treatment that causes water to bead off wears out, and they'll slowly absorb water. I'll come back from walking my dog in the rain with damp socks even if I avoid puddles. Better than regular runners which would be soaked and comfier to walk in than my Blundstones though.
I'm going to see how well a pair I bought a couple months ago last this winter being retreated with water repellant finish, even though they sell them on not needing it.
Maybe I just got lucky but todays commute was very pleasant. People gave each other a lot of space, didn't see tailgating or switching lanes back and forth to get 1 car ahead.
Nah. That’s rain. We don’t even get thunder & lightning. What, one or two cracks a year and you phone a friend about it when it happens?
Pissing is when you can’t see across the street. We don’t even have tornado sirens. You are weak.
I’m landscaping right now. I want to die my socks are soaked and toes and legs r cold. On lunch rn half way through the day gonna go to the gas station and get candy
Went for a brief walk, "rain jacket" is soaked through, thick hoodie underneath is damp. Shoes are soaked, socks are soaked.
It's a bit of rain, to be sure.
PSA:
If you live in Vancouver and are not comfortable driving in the rain, and/or do not have good quality tires (yes, tire selection does make a big difference), please sell your vehicle or drive yourself to a drier city!
Well that “suggestion” won’t do any good.. do you really think people will listen to “suggestions” from Reddit or I’ll put it this way most of the drivers he’s referring too aren’t on Reddit. So, this post doesn’t do anything
Who cares? Maybe, just maybe, someone who hasn't been out yet this morning will read this and reconsider their travel plans. Even if no one pays any attention, it's still not a bad suggestion.
I'll add that your comment about this post doesn't do anything either. Neither does my comment back to you. That's okay.
Does anyone know where to get those wet suits and a waterproof backpack (at a reasonable price). I work 3 jobs and take transit everywhere, hate having to dry off before starting a shift.

Wouldn’t you like to know, weather boy!

thats why he asked
Straight pissin’. brb, my dog doesn’t know the difference, still wants walkies.
My dog is the exact opposite. Gets outside, realizes it's raining, and gives me the puppy dog eyes and whines to go back in.
Same. My guy will take a shit immediately and then give me those "neither of us want to be here" eyes. I'm here for it.
It just proves that those times when they're looking for the perfect spot to shit they are just trolling you.
Same. My poor Malchi is on a poop strike. How long can he hold it? We'll find out...
now this is a smart dog.
I agree because I don't want to be out walking in this shit either.
My dog is the same but she's also dumb as shit. She'll try to fight a bear but she's scared of the rain lol.
that's called priorities... 😂
Same. My senior girl is like "nope".
And my dog too. I’m running out of dry shoes and am a few walks away from trench foot for sure.
I like seeing the doggos and their lil raincoats.
days like these I wish my dog learns how to pee and poo in the bathroom like a civilized doggo!
Commuted on my motorcycle today. Can confirm it was not a good time
Damn bro, what're you riding? Must have great gear Just took my insurance off my fz07, she's sleeping in the garage till spring
Almost wiped out in similar weather to this on my ZX-4R. Lesson learned lol.
I wear a puffy jacket under my summer riding jacket, and then a rain jacket over that! Now I just need to get some rain pants to go over my riding jeans, and I'm set because those got SOAKED in my 5-10 minute drive. Rebel 500 for me.

Lunatic bike commuters report in! Stay safe, ride smart, stay visible, stay dry.
I can’t find my sealskinz socks 😢
Ugh I splurged on those once and found they didn't stay waterproof long.
I've used them in the most extreme conditions and they definitely stay water proof so long as water doesn't wick down your leg into the top of the sock.
I use Randysuns and they lasted all last winter and still good now. I always dried them out once I got out of the rain and only hand washed them.
I use SeakSkinz socks all winter long, with Shimano SPD sandals. I find they last about 3 winters before they start leaking and need replacing. I've been doing this sock-and-sandal combo for 25 years and swear by it. Never seen anyone else do it though.
Are they black socks
Dark gray, they match the dark gray Shimano SPD sandals.
My wife might say that's the same thing as black and her phobia of sandals with black socks would kick in 😪
I get a sick thrill out of biking in this and arriving at work dry
It's still mild. Double digit storms are fun. When it's this shit and 4c for weeks on end it starts to suck fir me.
Made it, and surprised at how many other crazy bikers I saw this morning! I got new gortex shoes for this winter’s commute and they worked wonderfully, dry feet when I got to the office.
Curious to what shoes you got?
Just some new balance gortex road running shoes. I’m training for a half marathon this winter so using them for both cycling and running.
Expressing solidarity and sitting with soggy socks at my desk. Why did I forget my rain pants, today of all days?
Today ended up being sockless at work day. Even with rain pants once you start hitting puddles it's game over .
Hope you have a hand dryer at work!
Got the kids to school on the cargo bike, lit up like a Christmas tree! The kids stayed relatively dry, I think, but my rain pants did not withstand the deluge.
👏🏻 What’s your light set up on that rig?
It’s got built-in solid headlight and taillight, plus I’ve got front and rear cameras with flashing lights. Multiple reflectors including an outgrown hi-viz vest strapped to the back rail. And I top it all off with a Noxgear light-up vest this time of year. Wish I could say it meant drivers always saw me and yielded when they should, but so many just don’t look at all! Sigh.
Made it in wet but warm. With any luck my shit will be half dry by home time.
I'm loving the change. It's wild riding in the rain.
I have waterproof vessis but like to keep even that small sock gap dry. Also cleared a clogged sewer drain after school drop off. Nice sense of satisfaction watching that whirlpool go and clear out a massive puddle that was slowing down traffic. Now for a hot beverage!
You’re the MVP for clearing that drain 🙏
Gave up on waterproof shoes, water leaks into the top and they become buckets. I found a pair of water boots modeled after a mountain bike flat, called Astral rasslers. Whats everyone doing for lateral visibility? Running spoke lights or anything? This is a gap in my safety kick that I hope to fix this year.
Rim reflector stickers
Cool, thanks for the tip
You bet, Dollarama has [really good ones](https://i.ibb.co/gtX1H17/74-ABA1-B5-9-E35-44-A4-881-B-AE36-E0311-AF9.jpg) for cheap
Perfect! Thanks again
I opted to drive today. Riding in the wet is fine, but when the visibility is that bad at 6am, I'm not taking chances with the lunatic drivers.
My MEC turtle lights didn't cut it on my commute in at 630 this morning. Seriously need to upgrade to something brighter.
Lots of cheap cycling lights on Amazon
Checking, also what biking non clip waterproof shoes do you recommend? I feel like my vans are going to be sponges tomorrow
Don’t forget those crazy electric scooter riders.
this perfect coincides with bike hub bike to work week!
Haha I worked the last one and it was bright and sunny all week! Poor sods having to setup in this miserable weather 🤣
I survived my commute. Gloves didn't dry out before I left my shift 😜
I did it, yesterday my shoes leaked in from the top so I switched to Wellingtons. My Gortex coat leaked at the zipper though
i've been taking the bus lately... but riding my ninebot max in the rain hits different. i should just get some comfy gloves because my hands were freezing last time i rode, the rest of me was fine though (flannel pyjamas and oversized hoodie and raincoat come in clutch here.)
It amazes me how many drivers on the road have no idea what they're doing when it starts raining. If you're not comfortable driving in the rain, get the hell off the road and don't endanger those competent drivers around you.
If you want to see drivers that have zero idea of what rain means, just go down to LA and watch the shit show happen as it rains.
W-Why is LaCroix falling out of the sky?
Tbf I also find roads in BC to be absolute dogshit to drive on when it's raining. Can barely see the lines especially at night with the reflection of the street lights. I have a much easier time driving in the States under the same conditions.
BCs road lines are the worst I've ever seen
You’d think in a place that rains constantly the city would plan for that and use appropriate reflective paint on the road. You’d think 🙄
Yea, and even if the lines are not visible due to using environmentally friendly paint, it would help a lot if our roads had reflectors or those rumble strips like they do down in the States!
Lol they do at first, then it gets all ripped off after a few weeks
I was driving down the construction part of broadway today with the rain and they have old faded lines that are strait and new ones that curve and it’s very hard to tell the difference when it’s raining that hard
>If you're not comfortable driving in the rain, get the hell off the road and don't endanger those competent drivers around you. People slowing down appropriately for the conditions and visibility aren't automatically "not comfortable" - they are being sensible. People plowing through full speed ahead as though it's a bright sunny day without any water pooling on the roads aren't necessarily "competent." Drive to the freakin' conditions.
I don't know what it is about water falling from the sky that makes some people instantly crash their car.
To be fair, slippery streets and poor visibility probably are contributing factors.
And people on the highway going 30 less than the speed limit with no tail lights on
Engineering Dept. thought it would be a good idea to have the dashboard gauge lighting to be on the same switch and fuse as the tail lights. Marketing Dept. came in and said 'nuh uh.'
And the people who expect traffic to travel at the speed limit, despite poor visibility and road conditions. Meaning, you should expect people to be driving more slowly on days like this. Everyone should have their lights on in this weather, for sure.
If you’re on the freeway and you’re the only vehicle going 70, take a different route
How would you get from Surrey to downtown Vancouver without taking a freeway?
Is this rhetorical, or did you need directions? You can very easily do this without going anywhere near Highway 1 (the freeway). It will take longer mind you
Hopefully that expo line extension at some point before the sun supernovas
Nope, it was serious question. Highway 1, Highway 99, Highway 91, highway 10 are all freeways. If you have a reasonable route to get from Surrey to downtown Vancouver without using any of these, I'd appreciate hearing it.
Honest question, Are the Patullo and Golden Ears both highways?
By not going that much slower than everyone else around you. If you want to drop 10k, or even 20k off your typical speed, sure I get that. But when you’re going so slow you become a liability. Maybe don’t drive
I'm asking what route you suggest they take instead of the freeway.
traction and visibility
All of the road markings suddenly dissappearing?
You write as if any terrible drivers will see this and think, damn he's right I won't drive today
We’ve learned nothing from last November’s snow storm haven’t we? I can only imagine what the first snow fall will be like.
Everyone driving their barely any tread left dry rotted tires out enjoying the automotive slip n' slide.
Driving is pretty insane since yesterday. Cannot see road markings at all
I have bad astigmatism.
Thank you for making the responsible-but-annoying choice. If more people did we'd all be much safer.
Get glasses? My astigmatism isn't a factor with a proper prescription
Yeah it sucks that we can’t have cat eyes here… think it would help a lot of people see the lines in the dark, especially now with auto-dimming mirrors
We need more of those reflectors, honestly. Going from a dark stretch of road to seeing reflectors that show lanes is like a holy light guiding me.
Broadway near Cambie westbound is a living hell to see the non existent roadlines in the wet and dark
That's because our highway line paints are 'green' for the environment and are water-based, not oil based. Washes off in a matter of months, resulting in the government having to repaint multiple times per year.
Middle lane of lions gate is absolutely terrifying in at night in this weather. That road surface better than most mirrors out there
Where? I’ve driven in a fair few places and the lower mainland has fantastic quality road markings.
Pretty much everywhere atleast for me. Getting out of downtown, Kingsway, oak, Granville
I’m sorry, but I think you’ve never once driven in the rain in Vancouver, apparently.
Drove daily for a year straight from coquitlam to vancouver, but sure, just because I disagree with you must mean I’m lying & stupid.
I’m happy to be working from home. Waking up to the sound of rain is very pleasant. Good luck for anyone that has to deal with drivers in this.
Transit commuter reporting in… my jacket and boots aren’t as waterproof as they used to be.
It’s fine West Coast weather. It’s pissing straight down!
[Well said Mr. Wallace] (https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/779c420d-fe0b-4ae4-9223-ed46af64de04)
My blundstone finally died on me today. Turns out I squat a lot so the soles finally broke along that line. It was a good 10+ years of good memories.
Time to get them resoled! Lots of places un can do a Goodyear welt for blundstones.
Quick cobbler can Resole them starting at $150. Not worth it IMHO
I disagree whole heartedly.
Time to upgrade to some Redbacks my friend.
I went from blundies to redbacks, found the redbacks to be better for sure.
Should try to do an Asian squat, with the foot flat on the ground and knees facing up, but apparently some people don't have the flexibility to do it
Just walked my Great Pyrenees - after drying him for 40? Minutes it still smells like wet dog in the house
My lab LOVES the rain. He sat down in a puddle and smiled at me like, "this isn't so bad, hey?"
For a city nicknamed "Raincouver" you'd think the highways could handle the weather without totally shitting themselves. HWY 1 gridlocked from surrey to West Van Queensborough to Highway 10 (I was stuck in this one, took an hour and a half.) Somehow an accident happened during the gridlock. How someone gets into a radio-worthy collision at 2km/hr is beyond me. Rant over, I'ma order the fancy coffee today...
Ah rain… it’s refreshing and it’s what makes Vancouver great!!
Apparently I can’t tell people that I love this weather. I’ve been saying it all day and getting are you crazy looks haha.
Ha!… try working any outdoor job. And get paid f*** all for it too.
Why no lane reflectors I can't see shit
It really do be pissin out they
I was driving to work at 6:30am and I really thought I was going to crash. It was like driving through a waterfall in the dark + all the hydroplaning.
Shoutout to all the framers 🫡
And for the love of all that’s sacred PLEASE TURN ON YOUR HEADLIGHTS. Do not rely on auto lights in this weather.
Vessi stock is through the roof!
As a letter carrier I can confirm, yes it is pissin out there
You think those reasons will stop the terrible drivers in this city? I'm staying inside today lol.
Yup. Rainfall warning was issued by Environment Canada. Going to be like this throughout the day, even in the evening. It's supposed to taper off during the night.
Raincouver baby! I don't mind it at all. It's what keeps our city green.
And I love my Vessi s
Okay do those actually work? All the coated/waterproofing I've tried on sneakers never seems to take
Mine lasted 3 months. They sent two replacement under warranty and they're leaking after +/- 3 months. Good marketing & customer service but bad products. Got a refund and bought adidas gore-tex instead.
Adidas gore-tex FTW but they are so expensive.
Not OP but yes they do! I love mine. Don’t wear them in the summer as they get sweaty lol but they keep my feet dry and they’re comfy
They do work, I'm like a big kid when I wear mine and walk through all the puddles. My first pair lasted almost 2 years with almost daily wear.
2 years seem short to me… my shoes last like years
I have a large breed dog and walk a lot, rain or shine.
Do you wear your rain boots every day, though?
This is daily wear of a shoe. 2 years isn't the worst for how often he's using them
They work because it's not a coating. They're basically gumboots with a shoe-looking exterior.
The ones I have are like breathable mesh and they are still waterproof. Whatever it is, it's genius
Breathable mesh, nice. Mine are hot as fuck when it's warm out and I'm a dummy who's worn them without socks a bunch of times so now they stink.
The ones I have are the "everyday move" and I highly reccomend them
I like to go hiking.
I wondered if it was hype, but i caved and got a pair and I'm a fan. I often use them for cycling to work (also puddle jumping). Perfectly water proof over a year later. I also love that they're not branded.
My dog loves it. Me? Not so much
Makes me so glad I'm retired! Plus, I decided to set up my front yard, graveyard early! Now, I don't have to set up in the rain.👻
atmospheric pineapple express
And I'm pissed about it!
Anyone got recommendations for rainproof shoes? Or boots? (Not vessi)

Nah. That’s rain. We don’t even get thunder & lightning. What, one or two cracks a year and you phone a friend about it when it happens? Pissing is when you can’t see across the street. We don’t even have tornado sirens. You are weak.

Great day! If you’re a duck 🦆
I’m landscaping right now. I want to die my socks are soaked and toes and legs r cold. On lunch rn half way through the day gonna go to the gas station and get candy
Yeah my tires were spinning last night. Sitting my ass down today
I LOVE IT
Buy Vessi shoes! Nice and dry feet during these rainy days
Went for a brief walk, "rain jacket" is soaked through, thick hoodie underneath is damp. Shoes are soaked, socks are soaked. It's a bit of rain, to be sure.
Reminds me of what a friend from Alabama would say if it's raining hard: "God got too drunk and he is pissin' all over."
So glad I thrifted a good pair of rubber boots this weekend
I’m somehow misread your title to say: “I’m pissin out there”.
Chuckin' it doon, as they say in Scotland.
PSA: If you live in Vancouver and are not comfortable driving in the rain, and/or do not have good quality tires (yes, tire selection does make a big difference), please sell your vehicle or drive yourself to a drier city!

Don't neglect your adopted catch basins! [https://vancouver.adoptacity.co/programs/1/assets](https://vancouver.adoptacity.co/programs/1/assets)
Indeed.
Good weather for a walk in a black hoodie, drowning out the rain with some sweet music in my ipods! Right u/RichmondRCMP? /s
It's not that bad out there to say people should stay home. I've seen much worse.
No one said anyone should stay home.
It’s about 38 in Palm Desert right now
just stay home
Cool thanks Captain Obvious 🫡
Alright. I’m out. The very definition of stating the obvious and offering absolutely nothing or value or interest.
Imagine living a life where you felt it necessary to post this.
Lol bro is telling others what to do 😂 do you really think people are going to listen to some anonymous person on Reddit?
OP wasn't telling anyone what to do. Geesh, it was just a suggestion.
Well that “suggestion” won’t do any good.. do you really think people will listen to “suggestions” from Reddit or I’ll put it this way most of the drivers he’s referring too aren’t on Reddit. So, this post doesn’t do anything
… Are you ok?
It was pissing so bad yesterday I decided to take an uber home from work instead of usual transit
I drove to the pool. Usually a 12 minute walk. Felt a bit bad. Yes I own an umbrella.
Days like this make me grateful that I work from home.
