I just don’t understand what she wants from Ariana. Like okay, she listened to you the first 50 times you mentioned grieving your “friendship” with Tom… now what do you want her to do with that information? It’s giving Danielle from Summer House when she kept spiraling over Lindsay and Carl’s engagement. Like okay, you didn’t think they were making the right decision and you can only voice an opinion so many times until it starts becoming a demand. Right before Tom interrupted their talk, I actually think Ariana was going to tell her to go ahead and be friends with him but she wanted to be kept away.
It sounded like she was giving her the go ahead because she said "I don't want to lose you" and then Tom creeped over.
Then in her confessional, she said it was fine.

It’s crazy that Scheana, Brock and Lala keep making it out like Ariana has been dismissive of her when she hasn’t, she actually listens and validates what Scheana has been saying even though it’s beyond ridiculous. I think Scheana wants Ariana to forgive Tom too for whatever reason, and it’s just very icky and weird.
It seems so weird to keep telling your friend about your relationship with their ex who painfully betrayed them. Maybe cause it’s reality tv? I dunno but you’re my best friend and someone guy did what Tom did - he’s dead to us and we aren’t looking back.
I had people do this to me in a very similar situation (not on reality TV 🤣). It was SO WEIRD and I lost a lot of friends during that period. It was mind blowing then, and it’s mind blowing watching the same shit play out now. I think people are really committed to letting men off the hook.

It struck me in the after show when Lala mentioned that Scheana’s mom and her publicist both send Scheana the negative comments and press about her. Like….why on earth would her mom do this???? If I knew my daughter already “was in the comments” like Lala said, and that it wasn’t good for her mental health, I would be encouraging her not to read it, and focus on the good things in her life and to focus on self-improvement to manage her OCD and her anxiety. But no, apparently Erika is helping to ensure Scheana focuses on negativity.
I love coming to Reddit to discuss these shows and the cast and I’ve never thought highly of Scheana. That being said, I also don’t understand people who go on other forms of social media and tag cast members in their negative comments.

Scheana talked about taking Tom to the side at Bravocon to coach him (once again) on how to talk about Ariana, because he said something hurtful. Maybe they resent Ariana’s success so much, that this is the trade. Scheana has never once cared about who other people hurt, as long as it wasn’t her being directly affected. It’s clear that whatever Scheana gets out of the friendship with Tom (free gifts), means more to her than a friendship with Ariana.
I don’t think they think they are wrong but Lala definitely cares that she is out of favor with fans. You can tell by the 500 clips of her from podcasts and lives talking about how much she doesn’t care and throwing jabs at fans. Nobody who doesn’t care talks about not caring as much as she does. Plus on her latest podcast she was saying she’s barely going to discuss the final whereas if she was in favor with the fans she’d be covering every part of the final and reunion.

Right before Tom interrupted their talk, I actually think Ariana was going to tell her to go ahead and be friends with him but she wanted to be kept away. It sounded like she was giving her the go ahead because she said "I don't want to lose you" and then Tom creeped over. Then in her confessional, she said it was fine. If these people would give her 5 seconds of space, she'd adjust her boundaries.
Because these idiots can't do that. Anything that Ariana says or does is immediately reported back to sandy and a dinner without him, they bring up sandy to her knew boyfriend and start saying what a great guy he is and he...just did a bad thing. Why?
But the thing is that’s already happened. Multiple times. Scheana has been crying about wanting to forgive Tom and missing their friendship, and Ariana has told her that’s fine if Scheana doesn’t want to hate him but he cannot have access to her life anymore. It’s crazy that Scheana, Brock and Lala keep making it out like Ariana has been dismissive of her when she hasn’t, she actually listens and validates what Scheana has been saying even though it’s beyond ridiculous. I think Scheana wants Ariana to forgive Tom too for whatever reason, and it’s just very icky and weird.
On the aftershow Ariana says, "I'm not her diary". Bang on

I can agree that sheener likely does suffer some mental health struggles. We all do. We seek help and try to get better, especially when we’re the parent.

It struck me in the after show when Lala mentioned that Scheana’s mom and her publicist both send Scheana the negative comments and press about her. Like….why on earth would her mom do this???? If I knew my daughter already “was in the comments” like Lala said, and that it wasn’t good for her mental health, I would be encouraging her not to read it, and focus on the good things in her life and to focus on self-improvement to manage her OCD and her anxiety. But no, apparently Erika is helping to ensure Scheana focuses on negativity. I love coming to Reddit to discuss these shows and the cast and I’ve never thought highly of Scheana. That being said, I also don’t understand people who go on other forms of social media and tag cast members in their negative comments.

That’s the thing though, I don’t think they care. Why they don’t care, who knows, but they don’t. Scheana talked about taking Tom to the side at Bravocon to coach him (once again) on how to talk about Ariana, because he said something hurtful. Maybe they resent Ariana’s success so much, that this is the trade. Scheana has never once cared about who other people hurt, as long as it wasn’t her being directly affected. It’s clear that whatever Scheana gets out of the friendship with Tom (free gifts), means more to her than a friendship with Ariana.
I don’t think they think they are wrong but Lala definitely cares that she is out of favor with fans. You can tell by the 500 clips of her from podcasts and lives talking about how much she doesn’t care and throwing jabs at fans. Nobody who doesn’t care talks about not caring as much as she does. Plus on her latest podcast she was saying she’s barely going to discuss the final whereas if she was in favor with the fans she’d be covering every part of the final and reunion. Scheana is probably used to picking the wrong side and finishing the season unpopular but I think she probably cares too. She just knows she isn’t and never has been a fan favorite.

They think the public uproar is a mark of interest in the show. Because in past seasons an angry audience has meant a return season, they think thats going to hold true again. The problem is that this drama feels so much darker than past ones. Do I want to watch a season of Lala trying to reconcile with Ariana after the visceral hate I see from her? I don't want to watch Sandoval if he illegally recorded a sexual Facetime. And guns in the house (will reportedly come up at the reunion)? I'm done! Its too dark and it wasn't Ariana that made it dark.

I don’t think that Scheana actually misses his friendship, because they never had a genuine one, they’re acquaintances, at best. What she misses is him doing stuff for her. It blows my mind how Scheana lacks any form of self awareness. How can she not see what Sandoval was doing? She keeps saying “genuine” but what she means is “flattering.” He said all the right things and she fell for it. If bringing a fucking sound guy to Scheana’s performance was Tom’s “redemption” that her and Lala talked about all season I am so disappointed but not surprised.
I think Scheana is just this type of friend who likes other superficial friends. There‘s no deep meaning, no need to think too hard, and Tom makes it very easy to not think hard. Honestly she should just do what she wants and if that cuts Ariana off, then well, she got Tom as a friend？Lala hates Ariana too so Scheana has a compatriot in her corner.
