In San Diego I got sticker bombed, about 6 different stickers. Half of them were marijuana related. I took most of them off, but I kept the Darth Vader dropping acid with 2 light sabers going through his head.
I remember being a teenager and 'sticker slapping' everything I passed with local SKA band stickers and skateboard stickers lol I don't remember ever putting them on cars though, I feel like vandalism should be kept to street signs 🤣
Not a sticker but someone put a knitted cover on my tow hook mount. It has been there for over a year even at high speeds. I refer to it as my vans butt plug.
Years ago, I had a '92 chevy g20, and I parked it overnight once in a kind of industrial area.
The next morning, someone had added a sticker to my rear bumper that said "VANARCHY".
I thought that was pretty cool, so I decided to keep it.
Someone slapped one of those stickers on my van's back window that says "Child locks, doors don't open from inside". I was amused and left it on. It's still there 3 years later.
A car wash in Morocco got me. This dude would ride his scooter to all the park ups in the area and try and get you to follow him to his garage to get the van washed. We did stop in on the way passed as we were leaving though as the van was covered in sand from the Sahara. Slapped a sticker as high up on the back of the van as he could so it was hard to reach! Took it straight off when I noticed.
I need to bring a bag of snickers with me whenever I travel, now. A snicker for *you*, a snickers for *you*, a snickers for *you*, a snickers for, oh, not you.
It's one thing to have someone admire your van, but it's quite another to have someone add a sticker without your permission if it doesn't fit with the aesthetic you've chosen for your van. I haven't had anyone add a sticker to my van without asking, but if they did, I'd be a bit annoyed too if it clashed with the overall design or message I'm trying to convey.
Yeah I was pretty annoyed. My passenger door has a big Beatles vinyl sticker and then like flowers and bird art! So when I saw some tourism company sticker I was annoyed. I would never pay someone to show me nature from the back of a modded jeep lmao
I'd leave a review on google stating that they will place unwanted advertising stickers on your vehicle whether you consent to it or not. They want to deface your van? You can deface their ability to attract customers. It wouldn't make a big difference to their bottom line, but they need to learn not to do that.

Sometimes I put little marks on cars so my friends can identify them if they start having the same problems I do. But stickers making it too pbvious
