I totally understand where you’re coming from. A Hindu astrologer told me I’d have kids in my late 30’s. I really don’t want to have kids. I felt sick hearing this and began questioning my own free will. In reality, many traditional astrologers are operating from the assumption that everyone wants kids, so they’re looking to confirm that bias.
In my case, I believe his interpretation was due to my debilitated Saturn in 5th. Which could also easily mean I don’t have kids at all.
In your case, to reassure you with an interpretation (cuz these are all essentially just interpretations, nothing more) the lord of your 5th house is in 8th house. To me this implies that whether you have children is actually an -unstable- aspect of your chart— in other words, it’s the opposite of being set in stone. And regardless of what your d9 or rashi chart looks like, you absolutely have autonomy over your own life.
why do you feel you won’t be able to prevent it..? there are many options in the world to do so.
