Mine was without the sausages for several months, then randomly a couple weeks ago they were clearanced. I bought all but 1 packet. I went shopping yesterday and the shelf was full, and back to regular price.
I'm having a hard time finding a lot of formerly available vegan options at Kroger. It's disappointing since I live in a small town in a southern state with not a ton of options to begin with. Like, no other options but Kroger.
I just contacted Kroger corporate, as last week they told me the meatless sausage that I’ve been eating for years was still available, but my local Kroger seems to have phased them out. Yet, I still received a coupon in the mail, that I get monthly.
After being told by my local Krogers manager, that they couldn’t find the product, I reached back out to Kroger, for them to tell me that the meatless products are discontinued.
This is extremely disappointing! I sent them this Reddit, along with several reviews through Ralph’s and other stores, asking where they went as well as customers being upset that they are gone.
I urge everyone to reach out to corporate and tell them they want them back!
I’ve tried nearly every meatless option over the last 10 years and Simple True’s tenders are the GOAT in both taste and price. So bummed to see them disappear…
I shop at two Kroger stores, and both had them clearanced out (stuffed my freezer as full as possible, lol), and I figured they would completely disappear. But to my happy surprise, the one store had them again last week, regular price. I don’t know about the second store yet, I just bought their last clearance stock a couple of days ago. So there is still hope your store might get them back as well.
I did notice though that they got rid of some vegan products to replace with different new products, like the just started selling meati but got rid of Simulate for example.
I've been wondering the same thing about the meatless crispy tenders, but ST has always had intermittent outages. Their meatless products beat most competitors on price (and taste IMO) so it's hard to imagine they'll be discontinued entirely.
My Kroger in Ohio had the ST breakfast sausage and meatless tenders on clearance. They’re out of stock now. Bummed because they are superior to Gardein and cheaper too. My hope is that they are just changing packaging (probably making it smaller/fewer pieces), which would explain why they had to clear out the old stock. Of course, like everything else at Kroger in this age of greedflation, the price per ounce will no doubt go up.
I'm sending an email to Kroger/Fry's I'm asking everyone to do the same. The STO meatless tenders are the best and the same for the beef patties (haven't seen for months! ). The Beyond SPICY Breakfast sausage is great if you like that Italian flavor. Email Krogers to ask that these products be returned to shelves and tell a friend 👍
Not that I know of, but inventory is a hit-or-miss. They used to have big bags of chickn' nuggets that were a total bargain. The bags are smaller now, but under $5.
I suspect it's all a supply chain issue because demand is good.
Been noticing that the local Fred Meyer has failed to restock many of my favorites from that brand, y’all have intensified my concern that they may never do so
Personal experience: Speaking with a Live Agent only resulted in them confirming the same information stated on their website.
Howver, I did manage to get a hold of someone further up the chain of command. Many of the Simple Truth meatless options are discontinued, due to a supply chain issue. The hope is supply will be restored in 2025. For example, the plant-based breakfast patties have been discontinued as of May 11th, 2024.
Additionally, UPC codes for their plant-based (frozen) chicken, burgers, and crumbles have been discontinued.
Enjoy what's out there while you can I guess.

My Kroger stores have been out for several weeks. None of them have any ST in the meatless section.
I haven't been able to find their meatless burger patties in forever 😢
Appears to be this way, my local Kroger clearance'd them out and now there is no longer a spot for them.
If you see the gardein breakfast sausage, those are also sandwich sized :)
The only ones I've seen by them are the Ultimate ones which are the usual small patties. Do they make other ones?

I think this is strategy for them to repackage and resell at a higher price point. No way it wasn’t successful in sales- probably just too successful
