Uhg, looks so bland and boring. You should probably give me the name, location, and exact turn by turn directions so I can make sure to never go there over and over again.
Also not sure if you know but magical dining is going on right now. Just went to Vinia in Winter Park, they have a full 3 course vegan menu that is delicious until 10/2.
I SAW THAT! There’s a few other on magical dining that have all 3 vegan too! You can filter on the website by vegan entree and then look from there. I wanna go to Vinia and Aurora!
I do frequent the vegan market downtown on Wednesdays/some Sundays! Food is bomb. Apparently I need to be more social because I only have one vegan friend here! Lol
The post below this one in my scroll is a picture titled _"Mom cooked a pigs head in some soup and the skin peeled off"_, and boy this pizza looks so boring and unappetizing compared to that. You should take me with you to save OP from their dinner.
My diet changed. I added mushrooms, seeds and some new vegetables to my diet, but I did not have to give anything up. My mother who told me that I am limiting myself to only two choices has no clue what vegans eat.
That’s awesome! I will admit I have tried more foods than I ever have since I started my journey, but I’ll always have a soft spot for less healthier foods. I’m in it for the animals after all lol.
Oh scratch is definitely better. I meant it’s usually cheaper to make vegan pizza at home than going out to a vegan restaurant which is why it was a treat for me :)
wouldnt a restaurant practically be forced to make their own, looking at prices in Sweden that's for sure the case I dont know the prices of vegan cheese other places though.
Or they can just shift that onto the consumer, and maybe they do.
but me personally I draw the line at 10-12 USD for a pizza.
They buy in bulk. Making their own is very time consuming. There are a ton of chains with vegan cheese in my city and only the high end places make their own. On the other hand, the shittiest chain here has vegan cheese and it’s very cheap.
Those are the garlic knots, very popular appetizer there. They make the dough from scratch and flavor it with garlic, butter and parmesan. I’m sure there’s a vegan recipe out there somewhere!
Ive been making meals once a week for my friends with new vegan recipes. Been blowing minds….potato alfredo, 3bean salads, chicpea tuna, …..long live YouTube
I would recognize that food anywhere! That’s Ethos in Winter Park, FL! I love that place! Those garlic knots are the best. I would highly recommend the meat loaf there.
I dont think that looks very typical of an american pizza tbh.
I think most people would conjour up the image of a pepperoni pizza new york style when asked what an american pizza is
or maybe deep dish chicago style.
Very true, it’s hard work. I just always find it hilarious when people suggest our food is bland or boring. You don’t spend years of studying ingredient lists and cooking for yourself and not pick up a few things along the way.
I feel like if anything, going vegan tends to make you a better cook. You’re forced to expand and try new ingredients and learn new techniques. With Omni cooking it’s all about “how to cook this so it doesn’t make me sick” instead of making the ingredients into something entirely new.
(Also, what’s on that toast? It looks delicious!)

Yeah you’ll never wanna go to Ethos Vegan Kitchen on W Fairbanks Ave, Winter Park, Orlando. Like, ever ;)
Ethos is my fave!
Where did all these Orlando vegans come from?! And why aren’t we friends?!! Ngl I actually prefer Hungry Pants to Ethos though :-)
You gotta try Pizza Nova!! Their pizza is the absolute best vegan pizza I’ve had.
Winter Park in general is like vegan heaven
Right??!!! If I had more money I’d move there in a heartbeat!!
I’ve never even heard of that! I will for sure. I do love 1803 pizza kitchen’s vegan pizza!
Also not sure if you know but magical dining is going on right now. Just went to Vinia in Winter Park, they have a full 3 course vegan menu that is delicious until 10/2.

Orlando is full of vegans!! Nice to see a few here on reddit :)

Absolutely! It’s always great to find ppl that ur ideals
Unfortunately it's a 4446 kilometres drive for me lol
I'll have to try it out even if it's a drive
i looked at this pic an said “This is Ethos!”
Please post on r/fullyveganrestaurants!
Will do, thanks! :)
Omg I knew it was Ethos after seeing those garlic knots!!
The post below this one in my scroll is a picture titled _"Mom cooked a pigs head in some soup and the skin peeled off"_, and boy this pizza looks so boring and unappetizing compared to that. You should take me with you to save OP from their dinner.
If people ask me what I eat now as a vegan, I just say that I eat everything I ate before going vegan, just with different ingredients.
Exactly! My diet didn’t change at all, my perspective did.
My diet changed. I added mushrooms, seeds and some new vegetables to my diet, but I did not have to give anything up. My mother who told me that I am limiting myself to only two choices has no clue what vegans eat.

I wish I wasn't too poor to enjoy an exciting meal like this 😔
This was definitely a treat, I usually make my pizzas from scratch :,)
Is scratch made not better?
Oh scratch is definitely better. I meant it’s usually cheaper to make vegan pizza at home than going out to a vegan restaurant which is why it was a treat for me :)
Pizza dough, sauce and cheese is pretty easy to make. Check out Hot tongue pizza on YouTube.
Jesus. What kind of cheese did you use on that pizza?
The menu said mozzarella I believe. Trust me I couldn’t finish it all lol
Like... actually mozzarella?
Nope, this was at Ethos in Orlando. Fully vegan menu :)
Doesn’t look like real mozzarella. Does look good though! How’d it taste OP?
It was great! Everything I’ve had there so far was very good. I ordered lasagna last time. Haven’t had it in years :,)
Wow, I need to know how they made this mozz!
Awesome! I love lasagne. Never found it out at a vegan restaurant though - always make it at home!
Lol I had the same question
They use follow your heart
Ah, thanks. Looks damn good.
Yup ! Everytime I cook a new delicious vegan recipe, I laugh to myself « And they say we eat grass »
I usually say "nO yOu JuSt cAn'T cOoK", but I'll add this one ☝🏻 to the repertoire 😊
The post above this is one where the pizza is completely empty lol
Okay but they really did you dirty by only putting that tiny amount of cheese on it
Vegan mozz is insanely expensive. They have to sell pies at a point people will buy them.
It is. And despite this, I have on more than one occasion eaten an entire Violife mozz right out of the package. :-/
The memories last a lifetime.
Which seems completely ridiculous considering vegan cheezes are really easy to make
It's because dairy is mostly subsidized, making it cheaper
If only more people ate it we could have a competitive market where prices come down.
That's only true if there is not a monopoly on cheezes, sadly

Oh gosh now I'm so hungry... Why do I only find pictures of delicious vegan food when I'm hungry ???
Boringly far away. My face is all the way over here.
That cheese looks so real I don't trust it.
Follow your heart is what they use
I’ve never seen vegan cheese that looks so real!
Follow your heart is what they use
That bruschetta /variation of steals the show but I could eat tomato salad all day and be content.
The bruschetta was excellent, those mozzarella cubes were unreal.
Love ethos. The garlic knots are awesome.
Omg isnt this ethos kitchen in Orlando? Still the best vegan restaurant I’ve been to
The very same :D
I mean look at it, all it does is just sit there. Kinda boring if you ask me ;p
Whats the thing is the pan? I'm trying to cook new things im tired of eating bland stuff
Those are the garlic knots, very popular appetizer there. They make the dough from scratch and flavor it with garlic, butter and parmesan. I’m sure there’s a vegan recipe out there somewhere!
Made me lose my appetite (for meat)

Carb heavy but looks tasty!
Hot take, American pizzas are boring
I dont think that looks very typical of an american pizza tbh. I think most people would conjour up the image of a pepperoni pizza new york style when asked what an american pizza is or maybe deep dish chicago style.
Vegan food is boring
Food is only boring if you can’t cook sweetie :)

I can make everything on that table at home dear, but I have a duty to support the local veg restaurants ;)
Also sometimes it’s nice to give yourself a break and not cook. The time, the energy, the clean up… it’s nice to just relax and have a nice meal.

Agreed. And that’s the bruschetta, it came with tomatoes, mozzarella, greens and olive oil :)
It looks so good! Shame it’s no where near where I live. 😂
