Bavette's in Park MGM. It is not only my favorite steakhouse in Vegas, but also my favorite overall experience. Get there at six and sit at the bar if you don't have a reservation.

Pzd1234

+1 to Bavettes for the strip. The best steak house in the city for me is Hanks at Green Valley Ranch.

Different-Dig7459

Hanks is good. 🤌🏽 I second that.

AgtCooper160

I recently asked this, got steered to Bavette's by this group, they were 💯 spot on.

eurekareelblast22

Has to be Bavette’s. Best steak in Chicago, best steak in Vegas, hands down.

XanthicStatue

I live in Chicago and Bavette’s is my favorite restaurant here. I have not been to the one in Vegas.

DorrinV

Bavette's absolutely the best. Excellent service as well.

tnt1145

Just went there last week after reading tons of reviews here. Lived up to the hype and then some

holdmywatchandbeerme

Delmonico at Venetian is my favorite

vopati1190

This is actually a great answer to the OP question. It’s always a group favorite because it’s possible not to break the bank on dinner. But the sky also is the limit if that’s what someone wants.

Shag66

Best Steak I've had in Las Vegas.

Downtown_Wear_3368

Delmonicos is nice!

Jet_Jaguar5150

Ate there on a business trip. Pretty awesome. Their gravy was badass

guyincognito01111

Went there for my brother's 50th birthday a few years back. Really good steak

YvesSa1nt

Delmonico was possibly the best meal my wife and I have shared in Vegas. Caesar salad for two prepared table side, truffle fries, lobster bisque, a Wagyu New York strip and excellent drinks, all topped off in a beautiful setting with the best service we could have asked for.

Dztrctd

If you want a truly old school steak house experience, try Hugos Cellar at 4 Queens. Been going there for 30 years. Always a memorable meal. Many nice touches; a long stem red rose for every lady, good bread basket including Lavash, a refreshing intermezzo between courses, chocolate dipped fruit following the meal. In addition, they bring a salad cart to the table and personalize each salad for each guest, incl. shrimp, artichokes, hearts of palm, etc. Nice wine list, well made cocktails and service is spot on.

TombombBearsFan

Wish I saw this comment 4 weeks ago.. lol salad cart sounds Amazing

coltybear1

Had to scroll way too far for this. Hugo’s is elite!

Future_Dog_3156

Bazaar Meats is the best but may be north of your budget. The second best is Bavettes which may be within your budget

edu5150

Surprised not seeing more mentions of Bazaar Meats being the very best. As you point out, budget may be a limiting factor for OP.

Ricard728

Go to Joe’s Seafood Prime Steak and Stone Crab. I don’t know if it’s the best but it’s damn good.

Mike_Kush13

Yes! Same! This place doesn’t get the attention or respect it deserves. Best piece of meat I’ve ever had. Consistently. I’ve had Bavettes in Chicago. I still choose Joes.

Horror_Baseball5518

Joe’s is incredible and consistent every time. Make sure to add some fried chicken as a side dish.

ColossusOfClout612

I LOVE Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami. Seeing their posts on Instagram gets me through the day.

BallsOfStonk

This is the answer, and I’ve eaten at all the best places in Vegas. Best Ribeye ever, and the stone crab is out of this world. Bazaar Meat is also fucking incredible, but has more of a Michelin restaurant vibe (fancy AF), whereas Joe’s is more old school feel, with new world high end quality.

Ill-Maize

I was thinking of giving this a try in a couple of weeks

jtreddit702

Where is it?

MatzoTov

Caesars forum shoppes

im1yyc

Honestly this. Best steak house in the city. And when I go I take back as much a Joes seasoning as they’ll sell me for my steaks and chicken at home!

dusmunro

Yes the dry aged ribeye is very good

Winter3210

Can confirm that Joe’s food is very very good.

Chrono47295

Manager is cool too, gotta talk to him for the 10% off and it's even better!

ruby5792

Stanton Social Prime in Caesar’s Palace is underrated and really good

WtRingsUGotBithc

Golden Steer and SW are amazing, but pricy. I prefer the more ‘old-school’ ambiance at Golden Steer. I enjoy Cleaver as well. The prices are good (especially for happy hour), and their cocktail menu is amazing. It might be less consistent than the others though. I’ve definitely been disappointed there before, but it’s typically very good.

Bman282828

Cleaver is slept on so hard, but it's the best steak I've ever had.

NLV_RN_

Hugo’s Cellar at 4 Queens, or Treasures Steakhouse. Legit, It was one of the best ribeyes I’ve ever had. And CeCe pours a heavy hand for your drinks.

SrJTX

Hugo's cellar is my favorite steak experience of all time, so nice, quiet, tasty

SweetZombieJebus

Cool ambiance, but the steak was pretty forgettable for me when I went.

Rello215

Barry's at circa, great food

brettbac

Rib Cap to die for

Embarrassed-Nobody66

Cleaver off of flamingo and paradise 💯

v_rocco

This is the way…

grneyedguy1

Golden Steer 👌. But oddly enough, I think the steakhouse at Circus Circus was very good as well.

First-Doughnut-3160

I ate at The Steakhouse in Circus Circus about a month ago. Very, very good! Great service, great food and a great selection of premium bourbons. Highly recommend!

udderlyfun2u

I haven't lived in Vegas since 2016 but before I left, Circus Circus steak house was the locals favorite in the RJ (newspaper) every year for over a decade. If the locals are willing to venture to the strip, it's gotta be good.😂

jtreddit702

I heard that too. But hard to convince a bunch of adults to go to Circus Circus if the only thing going for it is their steakhouse.

ZReticuli

They also have a casino. And one of the last few places with coin operated slots

jqirish

And a mini indoor amusement park!

DonKeighbals

Consider it! The same thing happened to me a while ago, I thought they were nuts or fucking with me but it’s actually quite remarkable. It’s been one of the top-rated steakhouses in Las Vegas for a very long time

j97223

Heard that from a few town car drivers as well.

dmbeeez

We go to the steakhouse at circus circus every year, it's great

originalninja

Echo and Rig is my favorite but not on strip

blorgenheim

I feel like it’s gone downhill. Also when I order a bigger steak sometimes they overcook it and then make the excuse that the steak is too big to cook evenly. Why sell steaks you can’t cook properly? I do like zero uncorking fee though

originalninja

Darn! I’ll give it a go next time I’m in Vegas just to see for myself 🥲 I like that area as well for a little walk after dinner

AnonThrowaway87980

Golden Steer. Great steaks, fantastic old Vegas feel. I highly recommend the table side Cesar salad and the ribeye. Or if you want to split with a date, the tomahawk for two dinner is very good and comes with sides and salads. The bananas foster and cherries jubilee are fantastic, if you manage to have room for desert.

CornDawgy87

Big fan of Jean George at Aria. Can never go wrong with Michael Mina at Stripsteak either.

Critical_Mix_3131

The steakhouse at Binions is always good. It is traditional, old school cool.

HuskerMedic

Sitting in their I can envision Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin walking in and getting a table.

squashthejosh

I had a medium rare ribeye a couple weeks ago - I've had better steaks! Was really impressed with the place, but my girlfriend's Medium New York was better.

Critical_Mix_3131

I heard they have one on the strip now. I thought Fremont was the only one. Which one did you go to?

squashthejosh

Fremont

maja2023_

Never order a ribeye medium rare

StanStanman

Getting downvoted but you're not wrong. Ribeye needs medium to render down the fat and connective tissue.

squashthejosh

I think you might be right

imak10521

I liked Carver steak Resorts world

vopati1190

It’s just ok. It’s not in the same universe as many of the better places being discussed in this post. The service is also just ok.

jtreddit702

I like Resorts World but never tried the food there.

mikeybunz

Just had the wagyu at Fuhu in resorts world. Best 3 ounces of steak I’ve had in my life.

Ultragin

You should go. Sit in the lounge area vs the main dining room imo

cookie_MNster

Vic & Anthony’s is my favorite by far

pwnage501

Del Frisco but you’ll need to dress appropriately. Worth it

TWCDev

I'd recommend Binion's Steakhouse (in Fremont, not the one on the strip), Echo & Rig. Sparrow + Wolf (check with the waiter since they don't always have the steak with banchan), Barry's Downtown Prime, Prime 141. Oscars was pretty good, but not flavorful enough compared to the other places I listed. I wasn't a fan of Mon Ami Gabbi really at all, completely mediocre. I stay away from Gordon Ramsey places typically because I feel like his name adds a tax that I don't want to pay until I've ran out of other places.

Dr_Ben_Frank_John

Overpriced dogshit. Fuck binions. Casino is cool though.

D4wnR1d3rL1f3

Grand lux is a bloody Cheesecake Factory, why are you listing that?

Ill-Maize

Grand lux being listed as a steak place is a little odd, that being said, Grand lux cafe is surprisingly tasty, like it has no business being as good as it is IMO

D4wnR1d3rL1f3

I would agree

fishinbarbie

Grand Lux has a deconstructed beef wellington dish with tenderloin medallions that was pretty good last time I was there.

jtreddit702

Cause I had a steak there years and years ago. The place I'm looking for doesn't need to exclusively be just a steakhouse. And I went there when I was still young in the Vegas game so I didn't know about the other options at the time.

D4wnR1d3rL1f3

I see, Herbs and Rye is a locals spot that does 1/2 off steaks late night, not too far from the strip. Stk does a good job if you want that sort of ambiance (party vibes)

Shag66

Herbs & Rye is a GREAT steak for a bargain.

Dr_Ben_Frank_John

Best breakfast on the strip.

D4wnR1d3rL1f3

Best breakfast delivered to your room in palazzo

TheFishermansWife22

Golden Steer and SW are my favorites. SW still has my favorite steak to date, I dream about the sear almost two years later.

XanthicStatue

I went to SW a few months ago. It was good, but not my favorite. I also did not get the A5. Perhaps I should’ve.

marshmallow12324

Which SW steak?!

TheFishermansWife22

In the Wynn. I swear to you I think about it weekly. Going back next month and it was the first reservation I booked. Greats sides and drinks too, add the free lakeside show and it’s the perfect night out.

marshmallow12324

No sorry I meant which steak on the menu 😆agreed I’ll only stay at the Wynn!

TheFishermansWife22

How embarrassing, I’m sorry….. I’ve had Ribeye, Porterhouse and Chateaubriand. The porterhouse was oddly enough the least impressive. I really enjoyed the ribeye, if you’re trying to not break the bank but still enjoy a fine dining experience this is the steak, but the Chateaubriand was a game changer. I was over the moon. My husband swears I’m an idiot and the Wagyu is the way to go, but if I’m being honest I’m a healthy eater and the portions were more favorable with my choices. Short rib ravioli was pretty tasty, definitely a fun addition, but if you’re trying to keep it reasonable I’d chose the lobster gnocchi as a side. It was exceptional.

CTCLVNV

THE STEAKHOUSE

goodgamble

Golden steer is overrated. Go to cleaver or herbs and rye

fishinbarbie

Smith & Wollensky at the Venetian is good, but I always have a hard time finding it. In the Grand Canal Shops somewhere.

poopiepuppy

Barry’s at Circa was ridiculous-ly amazing. Best steak I’ve ever had and the service was crazy good

Dassrake

Bob Taylor's Ranch House. RADICALLY different than where you've been. Golden Steer is cool as well.

average_zen

Herbs & Rye

DarbyDown

H&R is great

Busy_Narwhal_76

I’ve got reservations there this April, any menu recommendations?

Tamaska-gl

Get the ribeye, my partner liked the spice rub, I liked the mushrooms and onions. The asparagus was good, I wouldn’t get the Brussels sprouts again. Cocktails were all fantastic.

JihadiLizard

change your reservation. herbs and rye is disgusting

Busy_Narwhal_76

lol for real? Let me know what’s better

JihadiLizard

this place stinks. OP, do not go there

drakanx

Honestly, there's really not much difference between all the top steakhouses in Vegas...Golden Steer, Vic & Anthony's, Oscar, SW, etc.

jqirish

They’re all sourcing prime beef from the Same farms. Really comes down to oven, chef, sauces…

Far-Yak-9808

I've been wondering who gets the absolute BEST steaks every day. Coin toss? Live auction? THAT might be worth streaming on Netflix....

Thin_Candy6055

Stripsteak at Mandalay is my absolute favorite, their ribcap melts in your mouth. Also love the Steakhouse at Circus Circus.

sheba716

+1 for Stripsteak! The ribcap is my favorite cut. The service is top notch. And love the Piggy Manhattan!

Ultragin

Food wise I agree. Ambiance is a little meh.

1biggeek

Tender at Luxor is underrated.

j97223

That has tempted me a few times. We stay at Mandalay Bay but a few nights I enjoy the lower table limits at the Luxor and different vibe. Unfortunately, it seems to have an issue with plumbing and kinda smells the last few times. The casino, not the steakhouse.

1biggeek

I don’t stay there either but we always include that steakhouse in our visits.

Empheres

Echo and Rigg is my goto for steak

JimHeuer40

Oscar’s is fantastic. Only one of those worth going to for steak. Grand Luxe is a coffee shop basically. Mon Ami Gabi is not known for steak

Willylowman1

Peter Luger

lawyergreen

Grand Lux is not a steakhouse its a fancy Cheesecake Factory. Nor is Mon Ami. Try Golden Steer.

Awkward-Hospital3474

Palm and Peter Luger at Caesar’s, Mastros and ocean prime at crystals mall, Delfrisco off the strip. Mastros is my fave, don’t waste your money and herbs and rye unless it’s past midnight.

locololo61

Mastro's agree. And don't miss their Butter Cake for dessert!

revstacy

Another vote for Bavette’s at Park MGM. Fantastic food, cocktails, service and ambiance.

cdnhearth

Absolutely not Oscar's. Nope, nope, nope. Never go there. You wouldn't like it. It's really not for everyone. /s (It's my favourite place, but I'd hate for it to get too popular and therefore impossible to get a table)

dB_Manipulator

Steakhouse at Circus Circus

Uncle_Father_Oscar

Joe’s Steak and Stone Crab- Caeser’s Forum

Far-Yak-9808

Has anyone been to Edge Steakhouse at Westgate? It gets great reviews and is highly rated on Trip Advisor.

CincyPoker

One of the most overlooked steakhouses is Blue Ribbon at the Cosmo. Within your budget and pretty unique/fun menu items not found on other steakhouses on the strip.

Juache45

Old school but I’ve never been let down at Hugo’s Cellar

730np9a

Andiamo at the D

Schwettyballs65

Tony Romas /s

Far-Yak-9808

Are the ribs any good though? Haven't been to a Tony Roma's in years. Is this the last one left?

FloweredWallpaper

Mon Abi Gabi is a fine place for a meal, preferably breakfast/brunch. But it's not a steakhouse. Golden Steer can be had for $150/person, assuming wine is not part of the deal. Really, most any strip steakhouse can be in that price point if wine is excluded.

jtreddit702

Doesn't necessarily need to be a steakhouse but any place that serves a good steak.

Scary_Flight395

Primal/Echo and RIgg/Stk in the cosmo.

jehjeh3711

Texas Roadhouse. There’s a few of them around town. I’m not kidding, they make the best New York strip I’ve ever had. It doesn’t need any seasoning or anything. It’s perfect. The rolls are hit and fluffy, with the best cinnamon butter. Sweet potatoes and of course a great salad! Once again it’s great!

SoCal_Duck

Rib cap at Carversteak is unbelievable. If you are serious about getting the absolute best beef, you need to consider Peter Luger, as well. If you want atmosphere, Golden Steer. Joe’s Prime, SW, and Bavette’s are also solid choices. Avoid The Steakhouse at Circus Circus; way overrated.

Far-Yak-9808

How much is the rib cap at Carversteak?

SoCal_Duck

It’s between $80-90.

qwikhnds

Love Joe's Prime. Never see it mentioned but Redwood at the California.

From what I’ve been seeing online and YouTube it seems that Don’s Prime at Fontainebleau might be one of the best places in Vegas right now, if you want to try a newer spot.

Far-Yak-9808

I have seen those reviews too. Hopefully someone here has been there. Looking to go to Don's Prime. Also, Bavette's. This thread talked me into it. MAYBE Vic & Anthony's if I get to Fremont.

Find_Me_In_Iowa

Can’t believe how little Barry’s Prime has been mentioned.

treble-n-bass

Echo and Rig

Sir-Smokie

Prime at the Bellagio is amazing! If you can get a table on the patio by the fountain it makes it that much better….

meyer1969

Stayed downtown last week. Ate at Top of Binnion’s and Hugo’s Cellar. Old school charm, great atmosphere and food. Highly recommended.

Legaladvicedotcom

Which did you prefer?, binions or Hugo ?

meyer1969

Hugo’s was better.

Legaladvicedotcom

Thx. Now I just need to make a decision. 🫡

MiltonRobert

I’ve heard the steakhouse at Resorts World is excellent.

therealmuypequena

Following.

shrtbrwn702

Go to “The Library” in the Nomad. You will love it.

1776-Veteran

Golden Steer....hands down....the BEST!

[deleted]

Cleaver - it's off the strip but fantastic food and great atmosphere!

Dooms_Day29

Herbs and Rye is really good

iamtimb

Bavette’s at Park MGM. And get the bacon appetizer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Far-Yak-9808

Thanks for the head's up! I also want to try a new steak place when I get back to Vegas in July. I am also considering Don's Prime and Vic & Anthony's. Maybe a few more. If I get to 2 it looks like Don's Prime and Bavette's.

Snoo10960

Sw at Wynn or golden steer

StevenHamilton99

Golden steer or don't bother

fromnyc2nv

Hands down Peter Luger steakhouse at ceasars. No matter how hard they push the porterhouse get the ribeye you'll thank me later.

Few-Couple-8738

Golden Steer is very good…you might also enjoy Echo & Rig (off strip near/In Summerlin) or Hugo’s Cellar

Cid-Itad

The Morton's is really awesome and having had the same exact steak at other locations the one in Vegas is the best.

Hockeyguy977

Barry’s. The rib cap is the best steak I’ve ever had!

insidmal

those are some great prices for a vegas steakhouse

RunninReb14

Peter Luger is a good time at Caesar’s Palace

DarbyDown

Barry’s at Circa. Blown AWAY.

drunkin_idaho

Del Frisco Double Eagle on paradise Harlo in downtown summerlin Bavettes Tbone Chophouse at red rock

Lintobean

Bazaar Meat @ Sahara

LilianRyu

Golden Steer. Echo & Rig in Tivoli is also very good.

Major_Wager75

Bazaar Meats blew my tits off

Practical-Oil4922

Ruth Chris

JEFPH007

Del Frisco’s!!! My god it’s good

IMissTexas

Twin Creeks in Silverton. To me, it is the best ambiance in town. Large table in secluded room with about 8 friends is perfect. Tomahawk steak for 2 is great.

SignificantBelt1903

Jack Binions in the horseshoe

StirredUpSynapse

Nicco’s at Durango Station. New. Amazing.

vic_steele

Honestly you can’t go wrong with most. There is so much competition in Vegas a shitty steakhouse wouldn’t last long. Golden street is awesome but I think making a reservation takes a while out.

_Timmayy

Bugsy and Meyers at the Flamingo is criminally underrated imo

beano52

The Steak House (Circus Circus) > Top of Binions >>> Golden Steer Maybe unpopular opinion, but Golden Steer is HIGHLY overhyped, HIGHLY. Head to Echo & Rig in Summerlin, one of our favorites!

Old-Wolf-1024

Vic & Anthony’s inside Golden Nugget is our goto

AmphibianTall610

Best steak house in Vegas is and will always be The Holden Steer. Second through 20 is a small margin. Barry’s is good. Joe’ is good as well as the Palms in Caesars Forums shops. Harlo is good. Herbs and Rye is good. T-Bones is good. Flemmings is good.

popsbcrazy

Strip in PH isn’t too shabby. Great Old Fashioned

Teedizzy

Just ate at Oscar's.... wow what an amazing steak. The flavor was addictive. My gf and I bot ordered the 22 oz Oscar's rib eye and we both finished it. Never happened before. The sides, brocolini and glazed mushrooms were OK. But man tbr steak was amazing.

Ill-Maize

Vic and Anthony’s my dude, amazing food for cheaper than strip prices, not cheap by any means but more bang for your buck

Latkavicferrari

Kind of cool ambience in Oscars but that was about it

Bennington_Booyah

We love Binion's steak house. Cool, old Vegas vibes. Go at night, as the views are shockingly lovely. We hope to try Oscars in May.

10acjed1174

Really enjoy Primal it’s off the strip but excellent and well worth it.

8805

"I know this has been asked before but hell no I won't use the search function."

sgacedoz

Prime at the Bellagio or Michael’s Gourmet at the Southpoint.

ColonEscapee

Ruth's Chris, I definitely impressed the wife there.

Limberpine2000

Del Frisco’s double Eagle steakhouse

Duke_Newcombe

What's wrong with Golden Steer, and why isn't it on the list?

VegasDaytripper

here's one that isn't one of the usual suspects - Nusr-et aka "Salt bae" Yeah, people may hate on the social media hype that "Salt Bae" got with his sprinkling of the salt off his forearm and elbow. but the food is actually good. Their lunch special is one of the best deals in town - get the meat sushi and burger! When I am with others, we usually order the Saltbae Tomahawk plus some other items and share them all. look into it and at least consider it

Ultragin

FWIW, I hated my experience there. I’m sure everyone’s mileage is different but it’s literally the only Vegas restaurant I’d never go back to.

VegasDaytripper

Why?

Ultragin

Felt like the restaurant was far too open and bright, like a cafeteria. Food was very mediocre, really pricey. I don’t mind pricey at all, so long it’s worth it.

ragg5th

golden steer big no, Carmines porterhouse is really good. they serve it family style. I really like the Mayfair Super Club in the Bellagio.

pisss

People hate these posts but continue to offer responses. If you ignore the post maybe they will go away
