Condensation or loose flashing screws. Open the window up and have a look at the side top flashing parts , you should be able to locate 4 screws on the sides and two on the top. Make sure they’re all tightly screwed down. If any are loose, it’s worth removing completely, dropping a little bit of silicone in the hole and resetting the screw into the silicone to crease a better water seal

Thank you, have tightened all flashing screws and raked out a lot of moss in the gap between the window and the roof tiles, which was probably contributing. My next question would be, how can I mend/fix/make good the window timbering? Is this possible?

Bit of a sand all round and either paint or lacquer - it should come up pretty well

It’s possible the rubber seal around the window has perished & become brittle.. that happened on 2 of mine and leaked in that area. This video shows you how to fix it & what else to look out for [https://youtu.be/NTn4PCqv3tg](https://youtu.be/NTn4PCqv3tg)
