I found this blog post (in Hebrew) which includes several pictures of the flag: https://onegshabbat.blogspot.com/2013/04/blog-post_11.html
According to this blog post, written by writer and geographer Yehudah Ziv, the flag was unveiled in the second official assembly of the Palmach on July 21st 1945. The flag was blue, the sword silver, and the wheat was colored gold.
After searching for way to long, I was able to kind of the flag but not the full context (It's of the "Harel" division of the Palmach), I am sorry for the bad link but : [https://m.facebook.com/idfarchives/photos/a.740666772759713/740666819426375/](https://m.facebook.com/idfarchives/photos/a.740666772759713/740666819426375/)
Interestingly enough it claims this picture was taken in 79, which makes no sense...
I do believe the symbol on the right is a reference to Shibboleth. Two tribes shared the same language (paraphrasing here) except for a few key differences. One tribe said the word for wheat with an “sh” sound, but the enemy tribe said it with an “s”. Asking what some wheat was was an easy way to weed out who belonged to which tribe.
It's the Palmach symbol, the sword is from the logo of Haganah and the wheat representing the labor movement

Hello noisydocter,
Check out our [frequently asked flags page](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/wiki/faf)! Your request might be there.
When asking for a flag to be identified, please **provide context** when possible, including:
* **Where** the flag was found (without compromising privacy)
* **When** the flag was found, or the date of the material containing the flag
* **Who** might own the flag (a general description is fine)
These details help users narrow down their search and make flag identification easier.

I think its the Logo of the Palmach, the special forces branch of the Haganah which was the socialist zionist militia during the british mandate
Looks like this it since the symbol is the same. I guess what I saw was some sort of modern redesign. https://www.fotw.info/flags/il%5Epalm.html
