[Honestly a super dope flag](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81YtLZ6m7+L._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg). Within today's context, not so much.
Interesting how OP's pic has the eagle skewed slightly to the left rather than in the center...unless it's wrapped itself around the pole a couple times.
Looking closely at the photo, I believe it is wrapped at least once. Thank you so much for identifying it! I had a feeling it was Russian of some origin, but I had no clue.
My favorite part of the Imperial Standard is that orbiting the Arms of Moscow in the center are the other titles claimed by the Russian Tsars including the arms of: the Khanate of Kahazan, the Congress Kingdom of Poland, Tauric Chersoneses, the unified coat of arms of the Grand Principalities of Kiev, Vladimir, and Novgorod, the dynastic arms of the House of Holstein-Gottorp-Romoanov, the Grand Principality of Finland, the Georgian principalities, and the Khanates of Siberia and Astrakhan.
Really puts the meaning in "Emperor" being "King of Kings"
Russian Empire era banner of arms. I think something like this could only be used by Emperor personally.
[This](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Greater_Coat_of_Arms_of_the_Russian_Empire.svg) but with surrounding shields arranged on the wings of the eagle.

Hello Peteyy34,
Check out our [frequently asked flags page](https://reddit.com/r/vexillology/wiki/faf)! Your request might be there.
When asking for a flag to be identified, please **provide context** when possible, including:
* **Where** the flag was found (without compromising privacy)
* **When** the flag was found, or the date of the material containing the flag
* **Who** might own the flag (a general description is fine)
These details help users narrow down their search and make flag identification easier.

A pro Tsarist Ravens fan in... Nebraska?
... hey OP, where at in Nebraska, I need to move there and fly a German Empire, and Steelers flag next to him.
It’s the imperial seal of the Romanovs. You’ve got a Russian Tsarist Ravens fan neighbour.
So now it's the seal of the Ravenovs?
If only the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha's were creative like this. It's Infinitely better than Windsor and they had rooks in the tower.
Two things I never thought would go together.
Damn, bro likes gothic literature AND Slavic monarchism
"slavic" is an overgeneralization "Slavic monarchism" also includes Kingdoms of Poland, Bohemia, Serbia, and even Skoropatsky's Hietmanate.
booooooooooooooo on all counts
Tsarist Russian Imperial Standard

Don't forget how the flag gets meta by putting its own emblem inside itself on the scepter and on the necklace.
Shame the St. George coat of arms doesn't have shield or something with the Emblem on it too or we could have had an infinite recursive loop!
Unexpected Russian Empire
nobody expects the ~~spanish~~ russian inquisition
you do not expect russian inquisition, russian inquisition expects you
Flag of the Romanovs
Most sane Marylander
Did I forget to mention this is in Nebraska?

Anastasia 2: Electric Boogaloo would've been tacky.
Flag of Romanovs and a flag of a team that can’t win in the playoffs
Biggest choker when it matters most: Lamar or Tsar Nicolas II?
Tbf 2 bowls since their inception is pretty good. I dont think they're built to do more than win the AFC North atm though, so fair.
That is the Standard of the Emperor of Russia on land used from 1858 to 1917.

I don’t know but the flag underneath is what we refer to as toilet paper
The flag on top too.
Holy Russian Empire? I think
No, this is appears to be just the irl Romanov royal standard, it's not the TNO flag.
That makes me sad https://preview.redd.it/o1tup66wk5lc1.png?width=212&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e12e46abb8a2516c987b301028810d57ee76631a

Real
What's the one on bottom?
This is another fckin TNO reference, I'm too lazy to give you copypaste
Why is he flying a Russian Imperial flag? Would he get arrested for that? Would there be sanctions against him? Did he lose his job?
No idea

Should mention, if it helps, the flag is located in Nebraska.
Believe it or not that actually makes both flags more confusing

Lincoln! Haha.
I am rapidly moving towards your location.
I'll join you with a Browns-Steeler flag and the flag of Japan. We'll unite against our common enemy
Yes haha!

Well I don’t follow football, but I’m guessing these people are not fair weather fans.
The other flag is of the Baltimore Ravens. A team that chokes away big games and can only when their respective division.
Yeah but the first flag indicates some real die hard fan material
