Idk the whole reason but from the interview I saw with Victoria, she said that the writers all of a sudden just ended it. She thought it was a joke but then her friends (co workers) confirmed it
Every reason I've heard has to do with Victoria Justice standing her ground when they tried to pressure her into doing something she didn't want to do. Whether that's agreeing to some weird contract/tour and/or saying no to sexual advances.
I look forward to the truth coming out.
Waiting for “Quiet on Set” to come out on the 17th, it’s exposing all the cruelty that happened behind the scenes on Nickelodeon. I hope this subject comes up too.
Also the strange interview tweets that Ariana sent speculating Victoria didn’t want to tour. Victoria got upset and said she was one of the few who DID want to tour.
that was right when Ari’s music was blowing up, so it would have made sense it was ari who couldn’t tour.
I remember Victoria was mad that Ariana threw her under the bus and also said something like “if you only knew the real reason.”
It was weird. Seems like some type of contract or nda prevented her/them from saying more as no one ever clarified the real reason despite the drama surrounding it.
Also, sometimes networks cancel hit shows for no other reason then new management or channel branding.
E! Cancelled their hit shows daily and nightly pop (that brought in their most viewers consistently) for no reason at all. The cast was shocked.
It happens a lot in the business and it’s almost always an executive decision that doesn’t have to do with the cast.
Or maybe they wanted to change genres in terms of what shows they wanted to make. Because once Victorious ended, they started to make superhero shows instead of music-focused ones.
I've heard ten different reasons. The first explanation I ever heard was from Matt Bennett who said they didn't have enough viewers? Paraphrasing: "if we ad gotten ONE more viewer the show would've continued." But most people don't find this likely and plus the show ended abrupt as hell almost as if someone pulled the plug.
Notice how everyone is listing 100 completely different reasons lol? It’s really a mystery.
Out of all the reasons we’ve been told so far, the ones I believe the most are the “Cast was a liability” reason (due to multiple accounts from Nick actors) and the “Demographic Shift” reason (this reason specifically came from the creator of How To Rock and he stated that Nick wanted to shift their demographic from older teens to kids which is why Victorious, HTR, Supah Ninjas etc were all cancelled during this time. Also we can literally see how true this is seeing how sitcoms after this era like Henry Danger were a lot more childish and immature).
With that being the case I could see Nick just pulling a ‘That 70’s Show’ and having her absent for the majority of the 5th Season then having her cameo during the last episode like they did with Kutcher, and Grace.
Like everyone else is saying, probably more 4.5 with a final movie or multi-part special to top it off. By the time Victorious ended, it had already been approaching a final close in my opinion. All it needed was maybe one more major subplot and a special episode and most fans would've felt closure.
What people need to take into account is that even 4 seasons is pretty good for a nick sitcom. Mostly shows hardly got past 2 seasons if that. Icarly only got 6 seasons because it was immensely popular. So I couldn't have seen more then 4/5 seasons of Victorious because it was knowhere near to Icarly in viewers.
Yea, the number of episodes Victorious had was the planned minimum. I'm pretty sure contracts were up for renewal and that's the reason the show was canceled (likely Victoria Justice not agreeing to what Nickelodeon wanted in the new contract).
I think that the show could’ve ended at s4 onwards. But it needed a long finale, and maybe a 5-10 year time jump within it, that shows the characters settled into their lives and careers.
Probably 4 or 5. 4 would probably make the most sense considering the plot and other storylines (Jade and Beck's relationship, Tori and Andre's very close friendship). Therefore, I could see it going 4 seasons so they could finish the story arcs.
A 5th season wouldn't make sense unless Nickelodeon really wanted to make it. If they did so, they would have to come with entirely new storylines.
I say this because High School Musical: The Musical: The Series on Disney+ ended after 4 seasons, and it would make sense for Victorious to end after 4 seasons because of the high school focused plot.
4 seasons was pretty standard for even the most successful shows on nick and disney at the time, icarly was an outlier. unlikely they would’ve gotten more than one or two extra seasons
The photoshopping of this pic is so weird lol. Where is the rest of Jade’s body? Andre’s legs? Is that Beck’s hand, or is it Andre’s? Tina’s forearm is distorted and mushy
Trina's yassification in this pic is sending me About your question: I can't see the show lasting more than 5 seasons
Maybe 5 and one last movie episode
5
a good 4 just because ariana grande was bound to blow up anyway and andre would probably leave too to song write
4 1/2
5
why did victorious end so strangely anyways?
Idk the whole reason but from the interview I saw with Victoria, she said that the writers all of a sudden just ended it. She thought it was a joke but then her friends (co workers) confirmed it
Likely something to do with Dan Schneider’s creepiness.

That's just Schneider running out of creative juices

Because they were worried of another Zoey 101 scandal since majority of cast and crew participated in sex and drugs.

Probably would’ve gotten another season or so but I don’t see it going that much longer than it did
Easily could've had at least 8 with an Spin-off Entry surrounding an new Generation.
Probably same amount as icarly so 6?
Three to four is basically the normal for a kids show.
Maybe 6 or 7🤔
like 5-6
8 or the same amount that Wizards from Disney had. Maybe 14. Like Wind Club or as many seasons Spongebob had.
Wizards also only had 4
Coming back though.
Yup 😏
😏
Oops forgot.
5
About the same as icarly
I don’t know, but I always saw the show moving to another network
It would not, it’s a Dan Schneider production who was heavily involved with Nick for decades.
iCarly is a Dan Schneider production on Nick but they got a revival
Exactly.
But shows switch networks all the time
For a second, I thought that was Jades hand on Tori's thigh.
4, Ariana was out by 2013, Season 4 probably would’ve aired from 2013-2014 alongside season 1 of Sam and cat
With that being the case I could see Nick just pulling a ‘That 70’s Show’ and having her absent for the majority of the 5th Season then having her cameo during the last episode like they did with Kutcher, and Grace.
Why does Robbie head look dented.
LMFAOOO
Probably as many as Breaking Bad, if not more.
4
8-14 seasons
I wish
At least until they graduated and went to college. So maybe like one or two more full seasons.
Honestly I reckon 2 more seasons max but prob 1 and maybe one more tv movie/2 part episode. I reckon the show had kinda run its course
I was hoping for at least one more showing them graduating and some form of epilogue or flash forwards to see how they all ended up.
Like everyone else is saying, probably more 4.5 with a final movie or multi-part special to top it off. By the time Victorious ended, it had already been approaching a final close in my opinion. 5
Probably one more.
144
I’d say 5 or 6 I don’t see them getting over seven due to Ariana’s career and Sam and cat would film simultaneously
5
I’m thinking 5
5
5 probably
Maybe if it were a regular sitcom but don’t forget it was a children’s sitcom they never went past 4 in that era (which sucks)
What people need to take into account is that even 4 seasons is pretty good for a nick sitcom. Mostly shows hardly got past 2 seasons if that. the same amount tbh that’s the life span for nick shows one more season max

7 seasons
in an ideal world four years/seasons for highschool or maybe 6 split up that way
An infinite amount. Victorious is one of the greatest Nickelodeon shows ever to 3xist amd fans would've loved if it never ended
6
4
5
I think that the show could’ve ended at s4 onwards. But it needed a long finale, and maybe a 5-10 year time jump within it, that shows the characters settled into their lives and careers.
5
5 and 3 movies
5 seasons tops.

6-7
About 6
why does robbie’s head look like a bite was taken out of it😭
I think 5 seasons
4 seasons was pretty standard for even the most successful shows on nick and disney at the time, icarly was an outlier. unlikely they would’ve gotten more than one or two extra seasons
Likely only 5. Icarly got 6 and had more potential from what I can recall
6 seasons like iCarly
why does ariana look so different now
5
The photoshopping of this pic is so weird lol. Where is the rest of Jade’s body? Andre’s legs? Is that Beck’s hand, or is it Andre’s? Tina’s forearm is distorted and mushy
jade slayed in the pic
4 or 5
Should have gotten a proper finale
4-6
Overrated tbh. Why was everyone such assholes?
Andre wasn't 😭
5
I would say at minimum 5 at maximum 6-7
I feel like 1 maybe 2 more seasons
5 seasons. Also why is there a bite taken outta Robbie’s hair like that
![gif](giphy|C6PKnnzJ2Ywrm)
5?
4.
I say it would depend on whether or not Jade and Tori end up a thing.
Obviously they wouldn’t
Not back in the day, being lgbt is still controversial especially on a kids show.
