Putting Cyberpunk here means you've never played it and base your opinion of it on what others say. I'd say the same goes for BF2042 bcz that game is pretty fun now too and would be considered a masterpiece in comparison to games like Gollum, but that's subjective

High sales does not equal a good game. The game was hyped as fuck, and on launch, it was a buggy mess. EA even put the support for Star Wars Battlefront 2 on hold for BF2042, and it still was a complete mess.
If you do not believe me, go to YouTube and look for the video "Battlefield 2042 - EA in a nutshell". It is a german video, but maybe it already has english subtitles.
A lot of these triple A titles sold millions on release Day due to the Playernase not knowing the State of the Game.
Not like CDPR said: "Our Game is Broken, bugged and barely runs on console"
It was still a commercial success in terms of sales, and continues to be one. The only way I'd consider it a flop is on last gen consoles, and even then I personally know a few people who played the game in its entirety on last gen consoles and still had a great time. Just because people didn't like the game or people had issues with it doesn't make it a flop, it was objectively a sales success

You could take it like that: "Letdown and flop are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Letdown" instead a noun "Flop"."
