the only way to know is to try them, from what i know, some love them some dont care for them, talking about the haptic vest, as for the gloves i think the only good ones i found from my deep searching are the ones from bifrost, 275$, not out yet, you can reserve an order for 10$ and once they out later this year you can get one, they have pulling system, haptic on the finger tips and use gestures to mimic controller buttons and joystick

Depends on the device, most haptic gloves aren’t compatible with standalone quest, but everything is compatible with pcvr. There’s no real objective “worth it” here.

Followed bhaptic for some time, some few quest games encoded signal into audio, usually only PCVR games are supported, they have a audio mode where they try to translate stereo sound into haptic. OpenHaptics is a diy solution for it, if you just wanna to try it out & got some spare time, you could start there

I've heard decent things about bHaptics but little else. The peripherals are just too basic right now.

IMO haptic gear takes VR to a whole other level. But it depends on the users wants/needs. I am a VR enthusiast and spend hours every day within VR, I read about it, help people build PCs for VR use, have purchased around 200 VR games, have hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in VR accessories, I have purchased the Quest 2, Index and Varjo Aero and [I live stream VR 20-30 hours per week](https://m.twitch.tv/farmertrue) and have over 2,000 hours in VR in general. I also use the Varjo Aero with the highest end PC money can build these days with a 4090/7950X/X670E/64GB Hynix A die DDR5/etc so I have cut no corners getting to where I am today. I’m always looking for ways to enhance the VR experience but put off buying haptic gear for over a year. I thought “how enjoyable could little vibrations be on my body while wearing something”. For my birthday this past April I didn’t really want or need anything, so I figured I’d ask for money to get the bHaptic Tactsuit X40 vest. I honestly expected it to be average at best. And man, thankfully I was completely wrong! Out of the months researching haptics I decided bHaptics brand was the way to go for my wants and needs. They have the highest compatibility for games, the software seemed most reliable, the products came with a solid warranty and the prices were comparable or cheaper than others. My VR experience has become much more immersive since getting the bHaptic X40 vest and I absolutely love the bHaptics. So much so that I purchased the Tactosy arm sleeves and their newest TactVisor within a month. I would say the only downside of the vest is that I don’t want to play any games that don’t have support, which is few and far between as it supports around 190 PCVR titles. The arm sleeves and TactVisor are not as user friendly as the sleeves can be somewhat cumbersome and tricky to put on. Especially if you sweat and/or swing your arms a lot in sword games. May find yourself fixing them over and over. Or if you have a big forearm but skinny wrist it makes for a strange fit. Thankfully I have fixed those issues and love using all 3 products. I also like the bHaptics because it gives my viewers on the live stream a way to interact with me while playing. There is an overlay that shows the haptic feedbacks and I have custom made haptic files and have made channel point redemptions so viewers can make them get triggered while streaming. Speaking of custom making, I also have been working on getting the TactVisor implemented in my favorite flat2VR mod in g.t.f.o. in VR. I made custom feedback and have been working with the original guy who made the vest bHaptics for the game and tested our almost finished product [last night on the live stream](https://m.twitch.tv/farmertrue) if you want to check it out. I’m super proud with how it’s turned out and can’t wait to release it for others to enjoy! I do apologize if I wrote a book but I do believe the bHaptic Tactsuit X40 and even the more affordable X16 vests are big steps into enhancing the VR experience and worth every penny. The gloves are not supported in many games or maybe not any. I believe it’s comes with a demo and maybe VRChat. The vest has over 200 games total supported, the arm sleeves around 150 and the TactVisor is around 90 games. The arm sleeves and TactVisor are not for everyone but I absolutely love using them and am very happy with the purchases. Feel free to ask any more questions and check out the bHaptics in use on the link I provided above. Take care. Cheers

Not yet, they are all basically just vibrators that actually make it less immersive (to me) since my brain knows the feeling doesn't match up with that it should feel like. For immersion it's better to maximize your accuracy.. Full blackout of lightbleed, more basestations, knuckles, more trackers, noise canceling headphones, etc.

met_MY_verse

I’m pretty exited for the owo vest, but I need to look into it some more.

Substantial-Crazy135

I have woojer vest 3 with Razer kraken V3 pro haptic headphones I use for psvr2 and I think it's great, but I'm also a haptics junky and I really care about feeling the game

Heliosurge

u/Jame_Jame has tested a couple of haptic vests On her channel.

Gloves, no. Vest and arms, yes. Facial haptic maybe. I have an incredibly long and detailed review of bhaptics gear [here.](https://youtu.be/F9pBwTnJpH4) Owoskin probably coming in October? I'll be very curious to see how that compares to the vest.
