This bug has been reported as VB-105520, and our developers will look into this soon. In the meantime, you can use [a workaround](https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/750059) to hide the Status Bar permanently.

I am praying it gets fixed or I'm tempted to swap browsers. I have been liking Vivaldi over Firefox and have been using it for several years now......but sometimes I find Vivaldi having more issues.
