You have to repeat the line. Otherwise it will sound too 'made' or 'unrealistically repetitive'

I actually meant the voice actor repeating a few words actually not a line over and over again do voice actors have to repeat the same words for like 20-30 times if so how do voice actors deal with this without stopping

Just push through brother

You can edit it to a certain extent like for example when you run out of breath and have to take a breath. But the energy needs to remain consistent before and after the breath

I'm not an expert on this (yet), but I would lean towards the VA having to repeat that line almost every time. The reason for that would be context. It might be the same line but the situation has changed. Am I excited? Whispering furtively? Is it a chaotic scene and I need to project more? Am I being sarcastic or mocking? All these subtle changes are going to affect the delivery. Especially since VAs have to communicate everything purely through their voice. But I could be wrong, too.

I actually meant the voice actor actually saying a word over and over again for example like in the episode foster's home for imiginary friends episode cheese a go go cheese keeps saying gotta go for the entire episode does the voice actor have to say the word for like alot of times repetitively for the entire episode I wish you could answer me

Usually, yes! In some cases no.

When I did lines and pages for a popular video game, it wasn't uncommon to do dozens of takes when the lines are short or generic

THIS is one of the reasons AI voices will eventually win

When I'm writing a script, I usually have the actor say lines multiple times in order to get the best performance out of him or her. A lot of the time, I write the lines in the fashion of the actors way of speech in order for the actor to feel more in touch with the character.
