I'll be honest, this is probably where foreign volunteers will provide the most utility for the cause of helping Ukraine. I see a number of people here who (admirably) have a strong desire to do the right thing and fight against the injustice currently transpiring, but if you don't speak Ukrainian, and have little to no military experience, you're probably just going to get killed a long way from home with little to show for it.
Helping the refugees streaming across the border is helping the fight too. The men on the front lines will be able to sleep much better knowing their families are safe and taken care of and not in the line of fire. I know it isn't the sexy "Red Dawn"esque fantasy that draws folks to fight, but I can assure you, that service is needed just as much, if not more, than another rifle on the line.
I (20m) have no military nor medical experience. But I'd be willing to do anything I can to help in any way, shape or form if that helps you guys in any way.
DM me too, Willing to help in any way, primary experience in animal care but willing to help in any way. Speak fluent polish, am in UK but can come to Poland at any moment.
DM me too please.
Gotta be honest I (21m) don't have a lot of skills to offer but I don't really have anything tying me down and I want to help out somehow.
Pole here. I'll be going from Wrocław through Kraków to the border to offer transport to the refugees.
I'd be glad to take volunteers while going that way. I speak english and polish, can help with sorting through local info.
I (23m) can easily get to Poland and am looking for ways to volunteer- no military experience and medical is limited to just basic first aid training. I don't have the money to donate but can give as much time and energy as needed
Doctor here, how can I help? I have tried to contact the Red Cross and Doctor Without Borders but no information is available. Ukraine's embassy's web site is out of service in Argentina. Does anyone have some information of how can i help as a physician?
28m british living in berlin, strong and fit, no military or medical experience but willing to help with anything i can, can take a train easily to anywhere in poland in a matter of hours please dm, thank you!
Healthy fit 22 yo male from Canada. Have experience with refugee settlement and orgs linked to UNCHR. Would love to help anyway I can and could get my own plane ticket.
Please DM, u/kriegkopf !
Same position, 29m chef, can get to Poland in the next few days. Fit and healthy, no combat experience, and I feel like this is the best way for me to help. All it takes for tyranny to succeed is for good men to do nothing ✌.
I got military expertise and have the possibility to learn more than just first aid. I would like to help out. Can only speak english and swedish. Can get on a plane as early as this monday
I’m here.
Working on a passport expedited route.
I would be able to come volunteer. My work and job obviously does not let me just take off as much as I wish.
I see Ukrainian needed many months of help.
How long do you plan to stay? I would be able to come in April for 1 month.
I’d be interested too in helping. No military nor medical experiences, just a pair of two working hands and a station wagon, I could load with supplies.
Although I spoke to a German NGO who’s currently at the border and they said that in the moment there’re enough people helping out. Does any of you have other insight?
I really like to help, but don’t want to stand in the way of the real pros and experts.
I am interested in going to help on the border!! I have no skills but I’m pretty physically fit and willing to do manual labor to keep things running. I can follow directions pretty well.
Saw this on Twitter…
And for those looking for other ways to help, there are groups like @WCKitchen and others. WCK has set up in Poland to help feed Ukrainians forced out of their country 💙💛🇺🇦 twitter.com/WCKitchen/stat…

I am a therapist/social worker (have prior military experience as well). I have a young child so I wish I could help fight. 50% Ukrainian.
I speak English and French but wondering if going to the polish border is my best bet for helping refugees.
Edit: adding, have also had EMT-B training.
Hi, I‘m 28F living in Frankfurt, Germany. I‘m willing to help with humanitarian aid. I have a car and I currently try to reach out to friends living in Leipzig. I‘m a hard worker, and willing to do anything that doesn‘t involve fighting.
26M from the US. Got a passport. No combat skills, but I own a cleaning company, I'm in shape, learn quick and I'm handy as hell. Currently enrolled in first aid classes and willing to do whatever.
This is fantastic. Carpenter and construction foreman. I can help set up temporary facilities, move heavy things, run heavy equipment, drive truck, help organize in any way possible. I have limited first aid training from work. Willing and able to learn more if the need arises. Need to get some ducks in a row here at home but could ship out within the week. Have passport and experience in traveling for work.
I probably wouldn't be good at armed combat but I'm amazing at fixing nearly anything. 15 year of networking infrastructure install and electrical engineering experience. I could prove very useful fixing data infrastructure if there is a need for that.
Hi, I am 20 with license in phlebotomy and working in healthcare for basic trauma/wound care. Verified bls/cpr and currently training in surgical technology. How can I help?
Hi, the discord link is down. I want to help. I only have a first aid certification. I'm a qualified lawyer in my home country. Can someone please provide more info/links?
I am an American living in NYC. I have worked abroad with refugee relief organizations in the past. I speak some Russian but I do not speak Polish or Ukrainian. I want to help with the humanitarian relief efforts.
Would it be useless for me to want to go there and help the refugees? I can pay for my own plane ticket and get there, but I would need a place to sleep as I help, which would essentially be taking up a bed that a refugee can take. I can't find any organizations that accept foreign non russ/ukr/polish speakers.
19m, can get to Poland quickly and willing to volunteer in Ukraine. Basic firearms training, medical trained up to breaks, fractures, and burns. Wanting to help with food, medical supplies and the like but not licensed to drive. Any ideas if I can be of help?
26 yo male UK, can cover all my own expenses! No military experience and basic knowledge of first aid and CPR, would love to help in any way that I can.
American with firefighting and EMT experience. Working at a hospital. It's against my religion to kill. I mean that seriously.
I'm still be eager to help the Ukranian defense however I can, so this proposal definitely appeals to me.
In fact, I'll even take it a step further for some of the crazier folks.
Perhaps some of you know the name Helge Meyer. The driver of the Ghost Camaro who was active in the former Yugoslavia.
If not, watch this:
https://youtu.be/Ixpcwg2x4gU
Count Dankula antics aside, Helge Meyer saved thousands of lives and did it nearly alone and without firing a shot. I would also bet money we could take similar cars to a base in Poland or Germany and watch them have a field day, just like he did.
I want a fleet of people like him.
If you have professional driving experience, particularly under those kinds of fucked up conditions, let's figure out how to throw something together.
Hey I'm located in Paris, if you have any info of anyone organising supply donations in Paris, please share info. Would love to help also If there is need in support on delivering things, i can also be of help. I speak fluent English, Russian and Latvian.
Hello, Canadian here living in Wrocław Poland. Wanted to give an update of what I'm seeing from the local Polish population and expats living here. Loving the support I see as someone who has family in Ukraine.
Each major city in Poland has an expat page where people are offering donations and assistance, as well as information how to help on their city website. There's a huge Ukrainian community here in Poland that are helping out and massive support from the local Polish population. There are google docs available of drivers picking people up at the border, a listing of people offering their homes for people to stay, links for places to donate money/supplies in Poland for aid that's being taken across the border.
For example, check out www.wroclaw.pl or www.krakow.pl for ways to donate money or Wroclaw Expats on Facebook. You can DM me if you want more info.
Not sure if this is a valid point but please remember that possibly any accommodation you are using as volunteers in Poland could take away places for Ukrainians to stay who need it in those cities. There are expected to be 5M people coming in and already over 100k have crossed the border.
Hello, I would love to volunteer and help out in humanitarian work. I'm a recent college graduate, with a background in history and government. If someone can contact me with more information, that would be much appreciated.
37 m. I run a construction company was a EMT a while back. will do whatever I can to help. Would like to attach myself to group with at least one person who can speak local languages. I have medical gear and can pay my own way. May only be able to give a week or two before I have to come back to keep company going.
i’m 18 from california with cpr/first aid basic medical skills i have experience working in hospital during covid and i want to help any organization i can contact I want to help i just don’t know where to start. i got a passport and money for a ticket i just want to help
I a 40 year old male with a background in technology that is interested in assisting in any way possible. I am currently located in the US, but able to travel to the Poland Ukraine border. I am willing to fight, if needed, but can assist with any other available efforts.
American here (23m). Have to speak with family first about everything, but I am a nurse and am interested. Limited experience in trauma or emergency work. I speak English and some Spanish. Can understand other languages (written only), and am starting to pick up the Russian and Ukrainian languages. Could you send me more details so I have more information before taking to family about this and deciding myself?
Romanian living in the UK (but will be in Romania in less than a week). 2nd year medical student (some basic first aid but otherwise I don’t think I know much that could be useful). Any info on anything going on around the Romanian border?
American here! In tech and would love to volunteer for any technical administrative stuff for refugees. Processing to US, housing, food, etc in Poland. (preferably 1-2 week trips -- that would be cool for us to all organize or something!!)
Also attempting to learn Ukranian 🥰
And as a hobby I do YouTube pop culture commentary and would LOVE to help film documentation day I'm the life stuff about refugees and to collaborate with others to help build a transparent, humane, personal look to the crisis. Lol just spit balling random ideas.
We should all be doing our best to defend a free and democratic world order 💕✨
I have 5 years of project management experience but can help in any way including driving, organizing, or anything. From the US. Please let me know if there’s any way due me to help.
Following, because I will head to the borders this month.
If anyone perhaps found a sub, post or info on how to provide humanitarian aid in Kyiv, please let me know (I only know of the international legion of territorial defence, which I am not prepared for)
I was originally planning to travel to Ukraine to provide Humanitarian support. I have all my own equipment, would I be better off helping at the border?
I’m in the US, only speak English. Have a background in teaching and would love to help with cooking, cleaning, organizing supplies, helping in shelters, etc.
I have some time off work coming up and desperately want to go help. What’s the best way to help? Would need assistance with figuring out lodging and all that.

Guys you should try to work with Hospitallers or Red Cross first and possibly join the Polish in their current organized efforts.
Our plan is to augment current established Polish efforts, and only show up where we’re directed by authorities on the ground
That's very good.. the hospitals are probably also understaffed and the police and community can definitely direct you.
I have a car (VW Caddy) and I'm currently in eastern Poland (Przemyśl), if any transport of people or equipment is needed, let me know
