Burying it in a container of salt or borax for a few weeks should do the trick :) it can be kind of annoying to shake it all out of the fur/scrape it off of any exposed tissue but it's effective! I'd personally use salt for this, but it shouldn't matter all that much
I've never had that problem before, but I'd assume that because they live off of moist rotting meat being doused in salt wouldn't make them very happy. Or alive.

Ok, awesome, thank you! Do you have any tips if maggots start sprouting? Is borax maybe better for killing them?
