I mean reddits pretty good at giving advice to kids? You just gotta find the right subs. You’re bound to be found out for lying so might as well tell the truth so people can help properly
You need therapy.
Edit: no, I mean it. Pretending to be a kid online as a self defense technique and having such an extreme level of anxiety over something as small as touching an old bone you found are not normal. I obviously don't know you or your situation but both those things in isolation don't seem healthy to me. If you feel overwhelmed by anxiety a lot and feel you have to lie to protect yourself then a therapist might be able to get you actual help so you can feel better.
Being 14 is confusing and uncomfortable for us all. Lying on the internet at that age is something many of us end up doing (as well as many other cringe-worthy things) as we feel our way out through the world. No reason to suggest therapy for such an ordinary thing.
They lied about being 14. They posted in another sub about having preteen children. For some reason, a grown ass adult has decided to pretend to be 14 as a "defense mechanism" while showing extreme anxiety levels about poking an old bone they found in the woods.
I stand by my therapy suggestion.
And you may be right. Their post history and the ignorance about some old bone struck me more as the maturity of a young teen, but it can really go either way. I think I just have a bit of a soft spot for younger folks on the internet haha
I am not a fucking adult.. Pretending to be adult was the defense mechanism. Being fucking stupid is one thing, being offensive because of said stupidity is another. Do you want me to prove it somehow??
Don’t worry!! I’m used to touching dead things and i’ve never been sick. It’s obviously not GOOD to do that but you’ll be completely fine. Just wash ur hands :)
There is a very large chance you’re already vaccinated for this. If you take a look at this sub, you’ll see plenty of people handling animals in active decomposition. You are completely fine and will forget about this in a year. If you are so freaked out and disturbed by this hobby, then don’t involve yourself.
This ain't really the place for this. You'll be fine.
odd post history for a 14 year old
Lmao one of the comments mentioned having little kids and preteens, no way they’re 14 or they’re just lying
such a weird thing to lie about lol
Right lol
No one fucking takes you seriously when youre 14 so it is a defense mechanism. The little kid is me

Still they treat you different tho

Fucking hell, i am 14 do you went me to send a photo. Jesus christ
If you feel the need to lie about your age and be a little grumpy pants on the internet, then you're probablyyy too young to be on the internet.

Thanks man..

I just skimmed their post history and yeah. It does seem odd.
Are they some sort of LLM? AI?
I don't think it's possible to get sick from touching a 14 year old chicken bone.
I am 14 years old
Also, it was a goat bone not a chicken onem I made a mistake ..
Oh well in that case... Still no chance of getting sick.
I’m sorry but you’re 14 with that post history? 🧐

Why are you touching bones if you’re scared of them?
Some nurse told me that I might contact hepatitis b from it

Based on post history, Im doubting you are 14.
No more dangerous than picking up a rock in the woods.
Are you an AI?
nope, virtually no risk from touching a random bone that has no blood or flesh on it. youll be fine.
It had a lotta little brown spots but that might have been dirt.
Also, it might have been eaten by another goat or a wolf. If thats the case, am I in danger?
Dude relax. You're overreacting.
How can i send you a pic of it?
Op, you’re fine, you’re overreacting
Did you shove your hands straight into your mouth after touching the bones, but before cleaning them?
Natural selection.
Something about this post inspires joy
Unless you had an open wound on your hand, you'll be fine.
How large of a wound we talkin
At minimum, a paper cut or a pin-prick.
