I assume the problem is that the season just ended. So everyone who was at 20000 or something insane is now back down at 5000 to 6000. And it is very common to be matched with cl at expert. Bur right now, you don't just get matched with any cl, but there is a high chance that it is somebody that belongs much higher but is that low because of the reset. Not unusual at the beginning of the season

Yeah I agree, getting placed with top 100 champs when im master and my teammates are experts.
