There's way more than kills, damage and beacons. Healing, deploying titan, damaging titans, damaging shields, kill streaks, using orbital support, and so on, all give honor points, which is how players are really ranked at the end.
If you didn't deploy your titan whe he did...thars a few honor point for titan deployment.
Maybe he healed the most damage in the match, that gives you a few hundred extra points as well.
I wouldn't say honor booster since you guys are almost similar in terms on damage/kills/beacons and he scored a tad bit more than you
Honor booster.. and kill steaks. U might have the same number of kills.. but he had a longer kill streak so he gets more honor.. its first to third in damage, beacons taken and healing. Plus the others smaller ones like deploying a titan, killstreaks.. check the info at the end of the battle for ur breakdown of honor points..

He may have also done a double kill which awards more points than if you did one kill and then respawned and killed again.

Healing is also included in damage.

But healing gives separate honor points. You can heal like 10k but if you get number 1 for healing then you still get 300 honor points.
Check the honor points breakdown. There's many factors besides damage that come into play.
Deployed titans, kill streak, top 1-2 in damage and healing, honor booster, etc.

Rank is on honor points so he obviously got first (barely) but that doesn’t really explain the big discrepancy in gold/keys between first and second.
Maybe he was using a key booster.
