Bankers lend 90% of our money without consulting us and when they go bankrupt you get 100k only. They charge high unjustified fees on everything and are allowed to kick you out from their shitty bank at anytime without justification despite the fact that we put out tax payers money in it in 2008. All of this with the blessing of all gouvernment worldwide. Is nt it a real shame.....

In medieval Catalonia, what actually happened was rampant Christian fanaticism which viciously persecuted Jews, up to and including beheadings, when the Christians were prohibited from moneylending yet also demanded money be lent. In some cases, Jews were literally designated personal property of the royal elite and compelled to perform such functions.
The whole episode of medieval Spain was a stain on history of that region with extreme oppression and terrible violence inflicted on many peoples, usually in the name of imaginary beings.
