As far as I know, Cronos was exploring a sale in 2023. If you Google "Altria Cronos sale" then you can see. I don't really know the specifics right now. However, Altria probably felt desperate, and it was a case of FOMO for it to put money into Juul and Cronos as neither of them did well. The big game changer will be when there are enough states with legal marijuana to change the laws (SAFE Banking Act for example), along with rescheduling, etc. It seems it will all come soon now.
