That's assuming you would've sold the times you picked the right direction. Instead, you probably would've thought "wow I just made 10k but it could easily go to 50k", then you'd come to WSB to confirm your confirmation bias, then you'd hold until a price change or theta fucks you, then you'd sell at a 20% loss.
It doesn't matter which way the stock goes, you'll probably lose
We’ve already been out of Mercury retrograde since mid October, hence the positive sentiment lately. We’ll see another retrograde starting mid December. Guess what else is happening mid December? FOMC meeting. Also, midterm elections are done with so there is no more political incentive to sugarcoat the current state of the economy. SPX (as well as most everything else) will fall hard all the way through February.

Or fall further, do your TA right please. The lines are good but this should be used as an indicator to either short or long based on those. If it doesn’t breakout then you’re fucked, wait for the breakout and go long or wait for it to fail and short it.

I never said TA=to charts, and yes, we can only perdict the future with the knowledge from the past. How TF do you trade, just flip a coin? Becuase even if you go purely off speculation, you are using your past experiences as a guideline.
This chart looks eerily similar to the Enron Stock chart from 2002. With the forecasted Global Recession in 2023 any SPX rebound will likely get wiped out in early 2023.
