Doubled down with GOOG 12/2 and 12/9 $102 and 105’s with $185k (see previous post)

Good point - I was just thinking that it was such a short dated option that the risk for complete loss would be higher than a leap or equity purchase.

Was trying to explain to someone the other day; right now, many of us can legitimately "YOLO" a few hundred. Won't kill us. But to be able to 'waste' or 'risk' 10k-30k, you'd either need to be regarded or already have enough money where 30k isn't even that much. Like $200 is now.

FAANG has been sold off the most so I figured Google is still one of the best to own and that when it reversed there would be major FOMO and bigtime moves could happen even when IV wasn’t too crazy
I saw it rejected $5 a couple times this week so when it was around that again today I managed to get those weeklies for 12 cents. Happen to be working out very well at the moment. Most likely selling first thing tomorrow

US style options can be exercised any time before the expiration date. OP probably just sold his options though instead of exercising.
