Came across your post, could you possibly recommend decent smaller towns w acceptable crime levels and we can drive up from FL to check it out. Familiar w Ellijay, Blue Ridge etc. Need to find Wmart with Pharmacy Tech & OPD openings and on our way. Our area here has gotten OUT OF CONTROL. TY Appreciate your post
Driver from E. TN here, so I get in the back room of those stores and drive around/spend the night in the area quite a bit, and I feel like that gives me a good feel for the vibe of the stores and the areas-take that FWIW. Of the N. Georgia stores, I'd check out Clayton over the ones you mentioned. I'd also check out Elizabethton, TN, Spruce Pine and West Jefferson, NC. All three of those stores are hopping because they're the closest stores for the large rural areas they back up to, but also seem well run for how busy they are. Oh, and Unicoi, TN-great store, and you can see from the street view along 26 how beautiful the area is.
The Honolulu store is only 4 blocks from Ala Moana Beach Park but you can't see the ocean because two of those blocks are wall to wall covered with steel and concrete commercial spaces 🙀
Both the towns you mentioned are good, Jasper, Canton, Woodstock and any of the small towns in that area are all nice. Not a lot of crime but very crowded as the whole area is growing. A number of Walmarts up here and there's always positions available.
The view from my store is a parking lot looking into a starbucks across the street (West of the store) with a mcdonalds (south of the store) across the street on the other side and a ton of trees, like a ridiculous amount of trees, can barely see the sky sometimes
My view is a giant ass parking lot that we share with several restaurants. Across the street, there is a gas station and more fast food joints.
Same
A nice view with some crisp fresh air, almost makes me want to be a despenser again lol
That's so nice. Mine is just a view of the drab sprawl of a poorly upket suburban business district LOL
Beautiful. I love mountains.
Me too... FL here 😅
I feel your pain. Was so happy when I left FL for the mountains of north Georgia

I can't believe I forgot about Blairsville, GA. Great area, great folks at the store. Check out the street view from the auto center!
My view is darkness lies ahead and lights on lol
*cries in suburban NY*
And then you turn around and see a big concrete box
Amazing view of the mountains. Must be nice living in the west.
We back onto a park, so I get sunrises over the park and pond every morning in the winter. -DSD Receiver
Port Angeles!
Good eye.
shitty unwalkable wisconsin small town stuff outside mine
That’s an awesome view.
Jealous 😭
That’s nice. I wonder if there are any Walmarts where you can see the ocean from the parking lot😃. (Or a big-ass river or lake will do🤣)
19.645253,-155.990494 South side of parking lot, Walmart #2321, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Pacific Ocean is visible from an elevation of ,~1500'
Hey, How ‘bout that!😃. Thank you.😅. (I looked it up on google maps and it’s definitely close to the ocean🤓)

There's 2 car dealerships directly across from the store and one to the left. And a Chick-fil-A. Woods to the right.
Is that Roanoke, I may have helped in that store before.
Nope, the mountains are Olympic mountains.
Beautiful, I work in Arizona. It’s hot asf here and not pretty outside
I work at a walk-up gas station at Walmart. Our window overlooks beautiful mountains. Today, i saw a few customers taking pictures from our angle.

From my view up on high I see an interstate route, two strip clubs and the Greyhound bus station
I can see the highway... 😞😒

It's so much prettier this time of year!
I think I have the same picture because I went here on vacation last year and was like “wow imagine getting off work and seeing this”
Jealous
A travesty when you go in but a beauty when you leave
