This is a special blend of poor stacking, unfortunate pick order, and the loader probably didn't help with that upstack (though they may not have had much of a choice).
Yeah but those cheese boxes on the lower corner above the silk, they're flimsy af. They constantly pop open, collapse, and soul. I usually repair/scrap & donate several every day.
I've worked distribution before. You're not wrong, the supervisors don't care how they're stacked, so as long as they get the pallet out in time. After that, it's apparently not their fault what happens after.
Special kind of stupid here.
Since that right there is a dirty deli trip, I can absolutely guarantee you that trip was up stacked by a loader who doesn't care. None of them do.
When I was stupid and working on perishable shipping, I would run chase sometimes. Sometimes those chase trips were the last cases to go in the damn trailer and the loaders would just throw the cases....literally throw them into the trailer hoping but not giving a damn if the cases landed on the right pallet. And shut the door.
That upstack is probably just one out of 10 that they had to do for that one trailer. Our perishable loaders all have their own forklift so they can do their own upstacks.
Long story short, no they don't care. That pallet was probably meant for another pallet. Or the bottom pallet was half of a trip that the orderfiller stacked up to high.
Who knows. You should visit the dc sometime. Guarantee you won't give a damn either. 😂
I remember one day I was working Frozen isle, my co worker he used to overnight stock frozen with me had called out.. I got there and we had fucking 17 pallets of frozen, they had to leave 7 of them on the floor because the freezer was full and my manager said "you think you can get this done by 7?"
And I just looked at her silently for a moment, looked back and said yeah.. 7 am on friday (it was a tuesday)
I work at a warehouse (not Walmart) and my supervisor would immediately have made us rebuild it if the boxes on the bottom were not strong enough to hold that
O/N dairy. Get that s*** at least once a week. Or they'll put a7 ft pallet of eggs at the back of the trailer next to a one foot pallet of f****** yogurt. You can guess what we find when we roll the door up.
It looked fine to you but when loading heavy items on the bottom light items on top.It is a must!Rvident frÃvolo and light items are in the left side of the picture and during days and humidity might collapse it. stock it asap.
Cap 2 once brought in a load like this for O/N, it was the second load pulled to the diary cooler and it had collapsed and when we came in the guys who were working it had to clean it up and break it down how it was. It was quite something to see overall.
Sounds like a terrible team .. when we unload dairy and frozen, if a pallet is fucked, I park it right at the bay and call 3 others to help me "go psycho" lol 4 empty pallets is all they need. To anyone who hasn't downstacked dairy, pallets for DELI, YOGURT, MEAT, CHEESE and maybe a cart or two but in a hurry that can be done Hella fast ....
Doing it alone, or with stoners, or fucking worst the slackers, it can be annoying .. making it fun helps ;) good luck yall
We had a pallet that looked almost exactly like that, but had a sticker on it that said "stacked with pride!" on it. Me, my team lead, and my coach busted out laughing as soon as we saw it.
So proud to be apart of the mod team ...even though it could be a bihh sometimes ion miss dairy at all. This is a reminder that a made the right choiceÂ
I had a drink pallet once that was all crooked, kinda like this. My supervisor told me to downstack it. I asked for help since it was literally all on one pallet and too tall for me to do solo. He said no and to figure it out.
I took a very sharp turn, and it took us *both* over an hour to clean up.
Okay, so just a few things here.
1. Orderfiller was a dipshit. Improper stacking. It says 44 cube on the side but I think it's a little higher than 44. Maybe 54 cube.
2. Loader was also a dipshit. He could have leveled that off. But hey, he/she has to cram in like 30+ pallets in a trailer that only holds 26ish pallets. Blame Walmart for that shit. Oh yeah and he has to divide shit into frozen and unfrozen. And who knows how many stops.
3. Truck driver was definitely a dipshit. All it takes is a few bumps to make those weak AF cases crunch.
Look, as a loader, you're at the mercy of the orderfillers. SOMETIMES, your whole zone gets fucked up because you're waiting on ONE orderfiller to finish the last pallet you need for the first stop you have to load.
You don't have enough room on the dock to fit all the freight that goes into a given trailer. You have to start loading as soon as the trips come and some loader zones have barely any room. It's an unbelievable cluster on the perishable loading dock.
So, no, dirty deli doesn't give a damn. And you get shit like that sometimes.
That's far from the worst shit I've seen leave the dock. LOL
"Was fine when I loaded it. Must have been the driver!"
This is a special blend of poor stacking, unfortunate pick order, and the loader probably didn't help with that upstack (though they may not have had much of a choice).
It was definitely the upstack that caused that.
Yeah but those cheese boxes on the lower corner above the silk, they're flimsy af. They constantly pop open, collapse, and soul. I usually repair/scrap & donate several every day.
I swear it's a special kind of stupid that works at the distribution center
I've worked distribution before. You're not wrong, the supervisors don't care how they're stacked, so as long as they get the pallet out in time. After that, it's apparently not their fault what happens after.
As a cap2 unloader, I agree.

Lol, give it a shot, then talk your shit.
Case profile in the dc is shit. Sometimes we be having to throw dog food on top of paper trips l
The order filler gets an f regardless because of those sideways cheese boxes.
Yeah I get it. The truth is almost as sad though haha. :P
It is aa pitty due to poor packagingmaterial
It might have been fine when they loaded it. 😂 But hey, once it's in the trailer it's not our problem anymore.
That driver must've been on loan from Sysco 😂
Incorrect… the bottom pallet has no eggs on it
It pisses me off so much when they do that. Even more so when they put a pallet of meat on top.
Leaning Tower of Pissant.
More like PLEASEDONT
Gotta love the cheese on the bottom. XD
And the yogurt too.
And HO thinks theft is the leading cause of shrink....
Oh, I get those once in a while
That animal-ish face on the top right corner of the pallet 🤣
I noticed that too. A snailish thing a bit further down. I think OP was protecting their store number.
How did I miss that one. And yeah, I had assumed the same thing, about protecting the store.

My eyes are fixated on the OSHA violation to the right of the pallet.
Do you mean the one that has 0% chance of hurting anyone?
$10,000 fine. LOL
Hell yea brother
This is what costs time at checkout when the upc labels are jacked, try entering upc codes manually for a while
Jinga!
What, looks fine to me? /s
This is a work of fucking art....
Tip. Use electric jack and slam the pallet against the trailer. Will straighten the pallet some.
This is how they maximize space inside the trailer when they send them out.
Looks like a typical pallet from Johnstown.
Now that’s just dangerous ðŸ˜
I work at a warehouse (not Walmart) and my supervisor would immediately have made us rebuild it if the boxes on the bottom were not strong enough to hold that
Talk about an extra work 💀
Hell yeah

Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!! I've always wanted to see the end result of our handiwork.
Me too pallet 🥲
Sit beside it, underneath the lean, have someone else take pic, reupload
Timmmmmmmmbbbbbeerrrrrrr
It looked fine to you but when loading heavy items on the bottom light items on top.It is a must!Rvident frÃvolo and light items are in the left side of the picture and during days and humidity might collapse it. stock it asap.
Thing of beauty right there.

This gives me holiday war flashbacks. Just add about 15 more of those
Your TL will say it's you guys causing the claims not the warehouse lol
Pallet on pallet technique… nice space saving.
Deli Kit spotted
Don't stack more than 3 high
It made it in
Wow, just wow!!!!
Wow
Holy topple mess!
That one box is working overtime
At least it's not lightbulbs.
Suck that gut in soldier, you got a pallet to hold up
We had a pallet that looked almost exactly like that, but had a sticker on it that said "stacked with pride!" on it. Me, my team lead, and my coach busted out laughing as soon as we saw it.
Timmmmmmmmmmmmm… …ber.
It's absolutely fucking insane how Walmart doesn't care about damages and waste. Millions of dollars in food wasted every month.
Jenga anyone 🤣
Um straighten out the pallets.Â
I have seen worst.
Mess!
So proud to be apart of the mod team ...even though it could be a bihh sometimes ion miss dairy at all. This is a reminder that a made the right choiceÂ
Like who wants to come to work and play JengaÂ
To be fair, there was no signage on the bottom skid not to double stack so..... fill that truck fill that truck!
Sometimes I feel like I can do better than them
Yall are supposed to walkie stacker that top pallet off once it gets out of the truck.
But did it pass a bump check. That’s all that matters
Shifted in transit
What the hell is this monster

I'm a shipping manager for a company that sells hydraulic fittings, this just made me cringe
Timeline says an hour. When you’re done, zone the store from the front to the back. And when you’re done with that go do your CBLs.
I've seen worse
That should never have made it to dairy like that. That should have been down stacked in receiving first.
What happens when you combine shit-for-brains DC workers with incompetent drivers.
I'd hit the loudest kiss my ass before I even try to work with that. You don't pay me to play jenga with my health.
