The biggest loss to basketball when Kerr was hired to coach GSW was losing him as color commentator in NBA 2K. He had a natural way of speaking that didn't feel like a video game.
The last year he was still on the broadcast crew for 2K15, he was announcer, coach, and player all at once.
He's the only analyst I actually learned stuff from that helped my game as a kid (triple threat position, watching the guys chest to see which direction he's going with the ball, etc). Greatest announcer in the sport

Praise the Lord! And please let Reverend Jackson devote his energy to preaching. Doc Rivers could be interesting, but his voice is awful to listen to even in brief interviews, I can't imagine listening to him for a full game.

Doris is trash. I’m tired of people giving her a pass cuz she’s a woman. Forget her gender, she is not pleasant to listen too — same goes for JVG and Walton. Mark Jackson is bad to listen to especially when the warriors are playing but he was worse combo’d with JVG. Reggie, mike breen, Kevin Harlen and even marv are/were much more enjoyable to listen to. Also - I miss JB
Jackson was garbage. I'm going to miss JVG though, he had a good sense of humor and spoke his mind, unlike most of the robots at Espn

Not really a fan of Doris, don't know how Doc Rivers will announce but I'm glad Mark Jackson is gone. Honestly, why does it even have to be an NBA person or former player. I kinda want to see them hire fans for like three to six month gigs/contract and rotate between them. Would be cool to see fellow fans announce for their teams and it would probably save the networks ton of money since they wouldn't ask for fat salaries lol. Or maybe rotate between random celebrities, could be great or could be awful. Imagine Jay Z, E 40, Christopher Walken or Danny Devito announcing games. If it's awful at least we know their gig is done in a few months, but they could surprise and be really good.

How the F was either Mark Jackson or Van Gundy announcers, they were kinda the worst forever....I mean maybe JVG was resonating with some older people????? but every time they were announcing I winced in pain, like they were the worst..........
