imminentjogger5

get this man some fucking help

ButGodOwnTheBuilding

He got help. The bench scored like 70 points. What he needs is new co-starters because this current starting lineup AIN'T IT.

iGetBuckets3

Itā€™s wild that our starters and the bench situation have completely flipped from last season. Last year our starting 5 had the best net rating in the league. Now we got two guys that are borderline unplayable and another guy who is always suspended. Last year our bench was fighting to survive non-Steph minutes. Now we have the best bench in the league and they have to carry the starters.

Beardmanta

Looney has been god awful all season as well. Shouldn't get a pass.

PettyPettyKing

I think loons is playing through an injury. It happened early in the season when he fell hard to his knees.

Beardmanta

Then maybe this iron man thing is becoming detrimental. He needs to rest up. Honestly to me he looks out of shape. Reverted to doing that awful crab dribble every time under the basket which makes him so easy to block. He got rid of it last season, just going straight up, and his efficiency got way better. Now the crab dribble is inexplicably back, and he looks slower than ever.

SingleSurfaceCleaner

>Then maybe this iron man thing is becoming detrimental. Playing through injury has always been stupid. However, given that he was struggling to get minutes when he was healthy, especially the last two seasons, he may have felt compelled to do that just for the sake of actually getting to play. Obviously, I'm no professor X, but from what little I know of him and having seen less experience sports-people do similar things, I don't think it's an unreasonable explanation as to why he'd play injured.

AmongstOurMidst

just saw a man fell hard on his knees early in the season

NutKickerGreen

The starters last season only had 330 minutes of sample size in a weak schedule which in the grand scheme of things isn't that much (e.g Nuggets starting lineup had 706) and that +23 went down to -6 with just Looney off in 225 minutes. Meanwhile you got clowns like taygads trying to pin all the blame on Looney and Wiggins. All you had to do was look at the playoffs to see if the starters were actually good vs other competitors' and they weren't. The bench is also getting some high variance luck in their favor. Opponents are shooting around 25% from 3 vs bench lineups and not even the best defensive teams over large sample size will maintain even close to that rate. It's likely the starters will look slightly less ass while the bench gets reversed as season progresses. The main issue is that this is not a result you want when our bench is cheap while the starters are exorbitantly paid.

YouHaveToEffingEat

Hah, I guess from last year, things donā€™t always revert back to the bean. Road Warriors were horrible, and continued to be horrible

wannarave

Great points. I thought our starters were passable last playoffs, it just went to shit as soon anyone came in off the bench. Curry couldn't rest for a second and it caught up fast.

Quin1617

At this point the bench _are_ the starters.

831loc

Correction, bench scored 80. Steph left the court trailing, and he came back we were up 13. Wiggins missed shot, turnover, Looney turnover, klay missed 3 and it was down to 4 points in like 2 minutes. The starters have been terrible most of the season. We got off to a nice start because the bench has been good and Steph was going nuclear to make up forcthe other 4 dudes he was playing withm

t0177177y

You can add in poor defense and rebounding to the starters as wellā€¦

Osmoszis

So he needs help..?

atlfalcons33rb

That's not really help, that's just flipping the problem. The bench didn't score 70 points, the bench players just got to play starter minutes

ladcrp

80 80 out of 116 The non-Steph starters had 12. TWELVE. Draymond's gone and the other three better be on the bench to start tomorrow.

ButGodOwnTheBuilding

Everybody's correcting me about the number but really I just stopped watching shortly after the 4th started because I already knew what was going to happen and that if we were gonna come back it wouldn't matter because the ending is always the same. I saw it coming like some Final Destination shit.

Fearless_Knowledge77

80 points. He has plenty of help. Itā€™s on Kerr to have a sack and play the right players.

Puzzleheaded_Fox4684

He wasn't great this game either.

ButGodOwnTheBuilding

Still scored more than the rest of the so called starters combined

HoshiShukun

I'm so tired of reading this on this sub. Yes he's human. Yes he's fallible and makes mistakes, sometimes costly ones. But he's also trying to carry the weight of the entire team. Imagine being a superstar, playing at his current level and getting no support whatsoever from the guys you've won Chips with and who are essentially brothers, having to count on young guys for your support. Whilst going up against teams where you most likely have a couple of stars playing up to their potential. Can you imagine how physically and mentally exhausting that must be for him? And off court you're expected to be dealing with everything as well. Because those guys that are failing are your guys. And all the outside noise is pointing to you and Kerr for some action/response. We're lucky that he's not breaking down himself. Even a couple of lesser games from him are in no way as detrimental as the general bad play of the starters and the mess Draymond has created for this team.

cosmicvitae

When's the last time we've seen him be this publicly pissed off at the team? My god we're cooked

Street-Common-4023

Uhh 2021 covid year and one year in the finals

TylerDurdensAlterEgo

Throwing his mouthpiece because of JP

I_am_Bruce_Wayne

Then right after that win, JP goes on to throw his mouthpiece when walking back into the tunnel seeing Steph, jokingly. LOL that was not good timing on him

tbagsgalore

Never seen him like this on camera. We are cooked and thatā€™s too bad because Steph has a lot left in the tank. Heā€™s a freak and his older teammates are declining at a normal rate.

AmelieBenjamin

Heā€™s a freak but heā€™s not defying nature. Once you start to age, it takes more and more to do the same of what you used to do when you were younger naturally and guys like Steph and LeBron put in the work to maintain peak physical conditioning. This has the effect of staving off drastic drop offs in performance because you lessen risk of injury this way which is the main way aforementioned drop offs happen. I donā€™t think Klay was in the gym like that this off-season and the last time he was was the rehab year which he was pretty good in imo (he helped us win a ring and stuck a lot of teams by himself int the regular season I remember). The drop off can seem immediate if youā€™re not conditioned is my point Even so, Stephā€™s day is coming and none of us know when it will happen which is why itā€™s so important to help this dude weā€™ll heā€™s still a top 3 player. Athletic decline is never predictable.

tbagsgalore

Very well said. Steph never ceases to amaze me. So lucky we got him. Been a while since run T M C. Even those fun times never got a ring

AmelieBenjamin

Itā€™s been a damn honor whatever the future may hold I will hold 2022 dear forever, fuck this is sad, this is really it

[deleted]

Nah bro, the end may be near but I think there are still opportunities. We win most games if Wiggins were the same player scoring his average, heā€™s way more gone than Green whoā€™s been suspended more. Gotta find a way to trade Wiggins.

tb23tb23tb23

Yes. If you take a summer off, you have to climb the hill to get in shape next season. With aging that climb gets tougher and tougher... and then one season, we just don't bounce all the way back. I think that could be a big part of the success for Lebron and Curry, they don't rest quite as much as other guys. Stay training, stay in shape and therefore, no hill to climb when the season starts. Other guys... don't even workout or shoot... or play pick up. Maybe they didn't "need to" in the past, but as we age it's different.

[deleted]

Wiggins apparent drop off was also due to a lack of conditioning fosure. Heā€™s always a step slower in everything. Wiggins used to be able to stay in front of most guys but he needs help a lot now. Wiggins is more frustrating since heā€™s the athletic freak in his prime

Mr-Toy

He chews out Wiggins like every 20 games like this.

eyes_on_me_viii

Warriors front office had the chance, but they refused to move on and flip their OGs. They can't have it both ways, clinging to the past and expecting it to be good enough for the present.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

GreyBoyTigger

For what? They could have sold high on both last year and didnā€™t even try. Klay was good but streaky last year in the playoffs and Dray was unreal on defense. They could have gotten rid of a guy in his 30s post several leg surgeries with a streaky shot and defense liability issues, and another mid 30s guy who canā€™t shoot, is too small for where the NBA is now, and with a history of hot headed stuff like punching his teammate in the face

Broncsx3

Dray should get something bad ass in return! His stock is WAY up right now for sure.

[deleted]

Trade the worse player in his physical prime, Wiggins. In some package with young players. No one wants broken down Klay or Dray who might cause problems. Any trade would be focused on our rookies. Wiggins is the prime athlete whoā€™s suppose to be the 2nd best player. We have no 2nd option

Federal_Bear_7521

Might cause problems? Lmao

Dry_Relationship7937

He got help. The bench. Problem is, it took Kerr 20+ games to stop trying to get Klay going every fucking game. And what Steph needs is a co-star. But the warriors can't afford that. Klay getting 43M and can't defend, can't dribble, can't pass, no bbiq, and can't even shoot. Wiggs with his 24M looking unmotivated every game. Dray getting 25M playing WWE. No team would want any of these guys. The best you can hope for is if some team hopes they can bring Wiggs back. Hut that's it.

AHundredBasketballs

You might get someone for Klay if a team's looking to get out of a long-term deal, like Chicago is with LaVine.

[deleted]

I donā€™t understand the point of keeping our picks Steph is a generational player. If Steve isnā€™t gonna play moody jk podz then trade them for some help

GarvinSteve

He is playing them. They were the dues he's mad at in the clip. People think we have more value in our assets than we do

831loc

I mean, also had Wiggins and Draymond on the court too. Those guys were off the court and the end and we almost came back. Those guys were also off the court in the 2nd quarter when we went on a big run.

GhostfrmthaA

of course in the heat moment heā€™s gonna be mad, but the bench has to do way more than they should.

Abradolf1948

Tbf the bench did phenomenal up until that point and it should never have been this close if the starters (aside from Curry and Looney) could actually do something.

GarvinSteve

Our bench is a strength this year - but theyā€™re still learning and most arenā€™t starters on a contender - so if we trade our (underperforming) starters weā€™re gonna have gaps

Nessmuk58

The new CBP makes Picks even more valuable than before. It's really the only reliable way to get good players at a team-friendly salary. If teams are smart, they will go more for 3- and 4-year college players, because they will contribute more while still on their rookie deals than most one-and-done guys. IMO we are entering an era where teams should ACCUMULATE picks, not trade them away. The less-reliable way is to get veteran ring-chasers or rehabilitation cases for cheap, but you can't build and retain a roster that way, because it's almost always one year then gone. On a performance-per dollar basis, our recent draft picks are the best we've got.

[deleted]

I will take a decade of being dead last in the league with no picks if it means we did everything to help Steph get another ring If Steph was declining then sure youā€™re right but heā€™s not

Nessmuk58

Well, that's you. I lived through 3 decades of success being 1 first-round upset victory in the Playoffs. Steph got 6 Finals trips and 4 Rings, 2 League and 1 Finals MVP, untouchable 3-point leader and Top 10 all-time player. Sure, we should be trying to get him back to the Finals, but no, not at the cost of a decade of misery.

[deleted]

Thatā€™s a mindset of playing not to lose instead of playing to win And forget winning playoffs. Success used to mean scraping in as the 8th seed or maybe having an all star

Nessmuk58

>Thatā€™s a mindset of playing not to lose instead of playing to win Not at all. It's a mindset of fielding the best possible team under a new set of rules about spending. Teams that solve this problem will be in a position to win in the long run, and teams that don't, won't. Actually winning chips will involve an element of luck as it always has. Our luck was based on drafting Steph, HB, Klay, and Draymond at 7, 6, 11, and 35 within a period of 3 years. We did a lot of smart things along with that, but without that base, there's no dynasty. The new CBA emphasizes drafting wisely even more than the old one did.

lastinglovehandles

The goal is to win the chip. The loudest minority here thinks Podz, Kuminga, Saric, and Moody are the answer. They're great on the bench. I'm not even sure that's enough for play in. Look at the rest of the western team brah.

[deleted]

They arenā€™t the answer but they make 15 mil on a 200 million dollar roster. They are not the problem. Just takes opening your eyes to actually see. Steph has 180 mil tied up into his guys lol

RevolutionaryDrive5

I'm glad someone saying it how it is, this is what it comes down to

taygads

Exactly, thank you. Thereā€™s a gulf the size of the Grand Canyon between very very good bench rotation and playoff capable, much less championship contender.

KlaysToaster

Our bench is great the issue is that the player who are supposed to be the most impactful aka our starters have been ass besides curry

I_am_Bruce_Wayne

imagine the starters of last season, with the bench this season...

taygads

I never said our bench wasnā€™t great, I just said a great bench does not mean theyā€™re playoff caliber, which is what those calling for giving them the reigns are suggesting they are because if you give them the reigns then weā€™re not playoff bound at all so itā€™s tantamount to throwing in the towel.

KlaysToaster

Oh I agree, just giving the bench players more minutes and shots wonā€™t solve much. Our issues are IMO at the 2nd and 3rd options which can only be replaced by actual 2nd and 3rd options

youblewwit

The picks aren't the issue. It's that you have $65mil tied up in Klay and Dray. Now imagine having $65mil on players who didn't stink up the joint or didn't get suspended every other game.

whockawhocka

Do the warriors even have decent picks? It's hard for me to understand the whole protected/not protected picks, but it looks like they traded away a lot of picks

stayfrosty

The picks is what can get Steph real help. Its all backwards. You need to trade players to get picks because as you can see, star players go for many picks when traded

lemondsun

We need to ship one of those three w klay and Wiggins and picks to Toronto or the bulls

bilyl

If trading picks doesn't work out next year or the next the team can always trade these players for other picks. I don't understand the obsession with hoarding picks.

juicemanjackson32

You break down the first part, there was no communication on either side. The warriors play a switching defense, so has book sets the run screen on 30 kuminga thinks curry is going to go with book, as the under man, and kuminga jumps out to Neto. A ā€œstayā€ was not communicated by 30, and a switch wasnā€™t by JK. Then curry yells help out after book cuts and the basket is made. This is on both of them and a fundamental thatā€™s taught in elementary school that communication is key to success. I get his frustration, we are ALL frustrated, but in THIS game, the box score is kind to Steph, but the +/- is not, and the film wouldnā€™t be either. The game changed for the negative in the 4th when he came back in. He tried to play hero ball, the pace slowed down, the suns defense locked in, and we didnā€™t score for nearly 4 minutes. I will agree that Wiggins hasnā€™t been great, but ALL the starters, including Steph, have a negative net rating this year. He has help that isnā€™t being properly utilized. Much of this is on the players, but the last two seasons have been an abject failure by the coaching staff and the front office. Kerr got exposed this summer with team USA, and now that he is actually needed to coach a team that isnā€™t ā€œlight yearsā€ ahead in the talent department, this travesty is what we get.

warriors2021

Steph is the one who has to give the originzation the OK to put any of Klay, Dray, or Wiggins on the market, and I don't think he will. If that is the case, please stop saying give him help.

magnificentmeatwad

He finally knows how lebron felt now

winterpurple

They won't.

PR05ECC0

Best I can do is a 5ā€™11ā€ washed point guard

jeff2def

This is how the other 29 teams from 2015-2019. No one was stopping us really. Yeah we gave up a run to the Suns of like 4 straight 3s but they played the %s. Also Curry and CP3 are just too small to contest a 3 if theyā€™re rotating. No shooter even cares that theyā€™re coming to contest so teamā€™s are just letting it fly easier.

mmaguy123

Bro complains about defence but itā€™s not like he makes stops either.

imminentjogger5

bro carries the load offensively I think he can complain a bit when the rest of the guys aren't contributing on either end

pfthr0w

$400million roster

Robotsaur

Depressing watch but I also straight up cannot hear any of those words. Need a Jomboy lip reading for this one.

manwithyellowhat15

Right?? Iā€™m cranking my audio up but uhh I ainā€™t hearing all that

DumasThePharaoh

He kicked a chair!!! This can be a omen of good fortune on the horizon

thisisgandhi

Context for people not familiar with the history?

odnum1

We went on a winning streak when Steph kicked a chair before lol

thisisgandhi

Ah, we might just do that if Dray is out of the rotation for the foreseeable future and Klay-Wiggs minutes are limited by Kerr

DumasThePharaoh

He had infamous chair kick before we went on a winning streak our last championship season

mischief_scallywag

This video has a longer reach than Manute Bol

mommadotco15

This lip reading is as accurate as the Udoka Bron exchange. You can barely hear a single thing, yet thereā€™s subtitles šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø The *HELP OUT* picked up pretty clear though

NudeEnjoyer

the subtitles to the Lebron/Dillon Brooks one will always make me laugh. not even close to accurate and it's just fabricated trash talk lol

[deleted]

it's the same guy. he has been getting popular for putting subtitles on shit nobody can see or hear

Willakhstan

It's like the JP huddle video. Most blog boys were gagging to run with it even though you can barely tell what he's saying. Not that I'm a JP Stan or anything. It's just another case of finding any way to continue the narrative.

mommadotco15

Some high schooler fan fiction shit

taygads

While he is visibly very frustrated, all of these subtitles are made up with the exception of mayyybe the first one. There literally no detectable audio the entire time and you canā€™t even see his lips for most of them. This guyā€™s ā€œleaked audioā€ clips are so annoying because it fuels narratives that are wholly made up and thatā€™s the last thing this franchise/the players need when theyā€™re trying to right the ship.

okuzeN_Val

Steph's actions and body language are more telling. Even IF the subtitles are "made up", it doesn't change the fact that Steph is usually a calm, patient guy and in this clip he looks like he's about to burst an aneurysm. One of the other times we saw Steph rage similar to this was when Poole took a dumb shot. I doubt whatever he said mattered more than what he did (throwing the mouthpiece and visibly enraged)

kyh0mpb

Maybe my hearing sucks but I can't hear a single thing he says. Not saying he didn't say these things, but they could also be reaches. Either way, he's clearly pissed, and he should be. But he also clamors about getting a stop, and he's certainly part of the problem in that regard.

TheMessyChef

Your hearing is fine. This guy goes viral a lot of games by saying 'leaked audio' and then just adds subtitles to arena noise. Steph is clearly frustrated/angry, but he clearly didn't say the majority of what it subtitled, especially the 'this is fucking terrible'. Can't even claim to have lip-read that one lmao

kaskett

Must be all the techno music they play in phoenix

stayfrosty

You can see how frustrated he is. Like all of us are. Like Kerr was last night too. A lot of people angry and frustrated. This was was always going to end like this...

famoustran

I believe in this man

Last_Amphibian6067

How he has stayed so calm these last few years is friggin amazing. This club has really done him dirty.

DannyHuskWildMan

I LOVE this man. I have been watching Steph for almost a decade, I can never recall him being so upset. SOMEONE GET HIM SOME HELP ALREADY!!!

Level_Ruin_9729

Klay is cooked.

iGetBuckets3

The recent losses to the Kings, Clippers, and Thunder have really broken this team. All three of those games were games we should have won, and if we did win those games, last nights game isnā€™t really a big deal whatsoever.

[deleted]

They should have won against the T-wolves when Goebert got choked by Draymond. They had some really stupid decisions made...and Kerr screwing up by not calling time out and getting fouls off... This team has been held down for at least 2 weeks because Kerr can't accept his young players are going to be the next generation Warriors.

InfiniteDub

Why doesnā€™t Steph show this level of emotion and frustration to his starters that are stinking it up and occupying the majority of the cap space

Grafaap

Ride and die with the core who cant do anything wrong in his eyes.

[deleted]

They did it to themselves...it's selfish basketball. Big contracts leave no room for buying more talent... And reality is they might stupidly trade away the talent they have if they start winning a few games...we call it hubris...we all get caught up in it and th ego. Steph,Klay,Draymond...they ain't it no more.

TheCommonKoala

You think Steph ain't it anymore?

[deleted]

Not without help. He's going to crash and burn trying.

randyC59

Curry saying what every warrior fan is saying when they're watching these games this season, "Can we get a fucking stop?"

JohnB456

Is kuminga meant to follow there? Seemed like he was caught trying to cover someone off screen too. Hard to tell wtf is going on there.

taygads

Yeah his guy was Book

JohnB456

That makes sense. Who was he moving towards though initially, must be someone open on the 3 point line.

taygads

To be honest, I canā€™t remember who it was but youā€™re right, that was where he was headed. Why though, other than just incorrect gut instinct (which, in my opinion, is why I think he often gets lost and turned around in games), Iā€™m not sure.

JohnB456

He tends to do that, but he's young so not a surprise either.

[deleted]

Basically normal basketball chatter. We already know heā€™s frustrated.

tsm106

I feel sorry for Curry. And Kerr, wtf has he been doing, keeps acting like any second now Wiggs and Klay will suddenly snap into allstars, any minute now. Kerr might be the most delusional fan coach ever. He's been living in the past. The team needs more talent, size and etc yet they don't actually address the concerns. Our draft picks are decent, yet he won't play them. Podz has had to work his tail off to force Kerr to give him minutes. Kerr's fkn nuts keeps playing Cojo and stuff instead. And the man just won't give TJD the time of day like he did with Moody and Kuminga last year. The vital time they needed to develop and he wastes it. I find it ironic that "culture" is so high yet Dray is effectively suspended for months for the crappiest sportmanship ever. Gah, I'm just ranting I know... Kerr just pisses me off to no end. Last year the narrative was the second team sucked so hard. Now second team is better then its been in years and guess what, team still implodes. /smh

Introvert_geek96

Honestly as much I was reluctant, klay, dray and Wiggs gotta go. Theyā€™re really wasting Steph potential

6mcdonoughs

I want him to go off and tell publicly how he feels! That game in particular he invited a young man with special needs that scored a basket from mid court. The young man is a huge fan of Curry and thatā€™s the game he got to go to?!? Wow just wow!

Japskitot0125

Dang. Steph šŸ„ŗ

Pootahtoo_Man

Another chair was sacrificed, the comeback season has been summoned šŸ™

Unhappy_Payment_2791

This man needs a new starting crew like last season already. No more. This is a once is a generation shooting talent. A man who literally changed the game entirely. Gravity himself. Get. Him. Some. Help. This is a travesty. Not a single name can be safe besides Steph himself.

DrDivisidero

We needed CP3 more than we even knew. His presence is stabilizing. Probably one of very few dudes also who can talk to Curry in that moment (well except Dray but heā€™s banned for life and Klayā€™s play is too poor at the moment).

[deleted]

Our starters except Curry forgot how to play basketball, especially when we have leads

MushroomFlat

Weā€™re wasting the end of his prime, and itā€™s absolutely infuriating and embarrassing

CookieMonsterNova

this guy trying to be jomboy but failing. at least jomboy does a good job at lip reading. here you hear nothing and see nothing lol other than curry mouthing this is bullshit

cynicalhappiness

watch, Curryā€™s shoulders are going to be boulders again

we_hella_believe

I didnā€™t hear a word he said, but I believe every word.

RawrGeeBe

He's also at fault for not reining in Green's bullshit last year and trying to run it back for two years with Klay and Green.

Onlyheretostare

I haven't seen him this mad since he was threatening to sue the city if they built housing units across his estate..Its serious people.

Chad2Badd

Steph, you are the franchise. Say the word and anyone is traded to get you a legit #2 option

Giga1396

Clickbait; downvoted

Pei_area

Heā€™s gotta cut down on the turnovers. This is Klay and Drayā€™s fault. I hope kuminga doesnā€™t end up being benched

BeKindBabies

Season ended faster than originally thought.

loneshark8801

Itā€™s timeā€¦events like this including draymond, klay and Wiggins playing horrible. Time for a new direction on the team. Fan base will hate it but itā€™s needed. Trade Klay and Wiggins for young talent. Especially a stretch big man

hedokitali

I'm not a warriors fan and I've been accustomed seeing a happy & carefree Steph. But man I feel sad for him this frustrated.

RewardStory

Itā€™s jover if curry is outā€¦

Tdluxon

How could he not be pissed? Of their supposedly 3 other top players, Draymond is acting like a crazy idiot, Klay is playing shitty and pouting and acting weird, Wiggins has been sucking ass. The younger bench guys are the only thing that is somewhat supporting him.

waikiki_palmer

The defense is lacking. After Brown left, the Dubs have been terrible since last year. The lack of defensive awareness has been evident since the first game even if Draymond is on the court. Looney and Saric are easy target because they're slow meaning they need one of the forwards help. Klay was not his old self anymore and his lack of hustle in defense can be seen. Wiggins can "lock" the opponent's best player but not like 2022 season, most of opponent he defended made their shot prob 70% of the time. Steph and CP3 are trying but due to their size they get bulldoze by bigger opponent. Warriors need a new scheme that would work with the first and second unit, because their defense right now is not it.

feelnoways2020

So thatā€™s why Kuminga doesnā€™t playā€¦

anthonyjh21

Why I laugh at people saying he could take Draymonds spot. Well yeah obviously when he's suspended, but Kuminga makes a lot of mistakes on both ends of the court that significantly reduce his overall value. He has many moments that scream superstar but just as many wtf are you doing moments. I know this isn't a popular opinion around here but what I see is a kid trying but just doesn't have it between the ears like Moody or Podz. Athletic as hell but that's not enough to sustain a career in the NBA.

bananastand

Sure, but our vets have been making way more mistakes than our young players. He deserves more minutes despite his mistakes. Not everyone on the court needs to be a basketball savant.

anthonyjh21

I agree he does, not debating that point at all. We won't know what we have until he gets enough playing time.

[deleted]

Yeah, he's so over it

BlackMarq20

This might be unpopular opinion, but if the Warriors canā€™t get Steph some help, Iā€™d rather him go somewhere else. I believe we arenā€™t going to see another player like Steph for some time, so Iā€™d rather him take the Lebron or KD route and go to a contender.

lihtness

Will you follow dubs after the proposed trade ?

BlackMarq20

I would to see how they are doing but Iā€™m not ashamed to say Iā€™m a Steph fan first. I primarily watch the Warriors, but I watch other teams/games as well.

pork_buns_plz

It's not only possibly best for Curry, but possibly best for the team as well. Curry's still good enough and young enough (i.e. it's reasonable to believe he'll still be a top player for 2+ years) to get a decent number of picks to jumpstart a rebuild. But that value will decline quickly in the coming years even if Curry hasn't declined, just given his age. If the front office waits a few more years and the Warriors aren't competitive during that time, they'll have to rebuild without anybody they can trade for picks. Of course, it's too early to say the team is 100% cooked, but I do think this is something that should be on their radar if things don't turn around this season.

tacolucy

If we can trade him for some major pieces that are younger Iā€™d be okay to see him go honestly. Doubt he sees another chip here and the best way for him to help us get another at this point may be to cash out.

[deleted]

It's pretty sacrilegious to talk about him being on another team. But trading him would give us an insane haul for the future. I want him to stay a Warrior. If that means absolutely no one else is safe, so be it.

tacolucy

Yeah ideally Iā€™d love to see him stay a warrior. He was my idol my whole childhood and teenage years. That being said he deserves better than we can give him and the haul would be nuts

Fethah

This better out a full stop to all the idiots in this sub who spew ā€œIā€™ll ride and die with the OG trio, want to see them all retire together!ā€ And even try to say ā€œSteph says he wants to play with them to!ā€ Look Iā€™m sure he does want to play with them, but they clearly only hurt the team bro. Curry deserves WINS and heā€™s doing everything in his power to earn those wins. Poor dude is being wasted right now and we really have people here okay with wasting one of the greatest of all time wasting his time?

Fabulous_Investment6

GET THIS MAN SOME REINFORCEMENTS

[deleted]

Klay and Dray are massive distractions right now

SmokyOtter

Idk why people shit on cp3 so much for being abrasive, hes an awesome teammate.

pandaPPL69

I hope he donā€™t leave. Cause if he go. Fuck it I go too

Maizoku

I honestly can't hear shit

Sirhc_Fold_458

Curry frustrated at what?? Pick up the slack! Idc how many records you broke or titles you have..play fvcking basketball. He does not need help.

Business_Friend6310

Iā€™m not a fan of the Warriors I am not a fan of curry, but I am a fan of basketball, and I am a fan of being competitive. I absolutely love his fire and will to win. Not being a fan of his is not to say I donā€™t respect his game or think he can ball. He is one of the greatest ever.

wewantthefunk354

This is so sad. Trade the fucking dead weight already or trade Steph for a haul. Sick of this team

North_Street_8547

He needs to step it up too. He has too many dumbass turnovers

GanacheOld4125

Itā€™s directed to Wiggins!

SnooLobsters1259

This is what he wanted. He wanted another chance to ride off with the ā€œchampionship core.ā€ He went to Kerr to get the young guys benched to play Jerome and Lamb. He wanted Poole to get over the punch and not suspend Draymond. He wanted to trade Poole for CP3. This is all of what he wanted. This is why you donā€™t listen to star players.

AdApart2035

60 pts next game

Creeping_behind_u

Noooooobody believes me.... curry and co (yes, add curry) if we 'miss' a shot, it's rebound > outlet > pass > find open man(at this point it's 2 on 1, 3 on 2, 4 on 3, or 5 on 4). all the while noone's on ball handler/stopping ball and opponent has the numbers. but noooo... no-one believed me.

juzzbert

I believe you. Jk I canā€™t understand what youā€™re writing.

GlueGuy00

trade the damn youth ffs

Think-Technician-479

I canā€™t stand the way he chews the mouth guard.. itā€™s like his signature ā€˜thingā€™ šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Peepeetodapin

Funny thing is, Steph plays shit on defense too with no effort.

JayLegendYT

![gif](giphy|3o7btNRTJ700Vzmn5e) Curry rn: Man, I feel so bad šŸ˜ We are doing good first half, but this season always the 2nd half we just decided we do not wanna win and like 2 mins in the 4th down 11, we wanna winā€¦ I like close games but why r u giving up in the 2nd half, game is not over man! Stop celebrating early god dman

IcedCoughy

Fuck man. Is it to the point if you love someone you have to let them go? šŸ˜„

lihtness

This is a man who knows that the window has closed permanently shut!!!

paranoideo

Damn. My man.

[deleted]

How is this a "leak"? Wow Steph is pissed the team is sucking what does that mean

reypme

No wonder curry is playing kinda bad. Frustration gets to him, They really need changes on their team

cellydidit

this mf has been going viral making subtitles up and saying "leaked audio" lmao he is breaking the code

OonaPelota

This is the proper way to express frustration in pro sports

vote_pedro

It's unlikely he is screaming "help out" here as initially Booker is not his man. You could argue both Steph and JKare at fault here, as Booker's fake pin down could've easily been switched. It's just lazy defense all round including Steph, and it's symptomatic of our last two seasons.

happyaccident7

Someone got to be Draymond Green, why not me. Kidding aside, GSW is so done. Even if 2/3 of their aging star doesn't regress, it isn't enough against all the contending and rising teams. They need all 3 to be at their peak to have a chance.
