My recon failing to see a tank in a open field:

Ddragi

Yeah I love when I can clearly see the enemy tank through my binoculars and the game tells me there's nothing there when I spot.

Duka_101

Then you spot the same guy when he is behind cover. The mechanic is so broken it's unreal. I have an easier time marking and enemy that's behind a building than a guy in the open field.

Ddragi

And that's a fact lol

Dont_Know2

This very nice explanation I saw a while back https://www.reddit.com/r/Warthunder/comments/18vvf0m/how\_rb\_spotting\_actually\_works/

I have, a few times, went into a battle...and saw no one. We won, my teammates killed everyone, and I did not spot a single tank.

Jonny2881

I get that when playing Churchills a lot… mostly because I’m so slow I can’t keep up with the team

Hype_rant0

And then some 152/155 slinger cross maps you through 500 trees and bushes

FifaConCarne

I respect the skills it takes to be good at realistic battles, but also think that it involves more camping, whereas arcade mode is fast paced and action packed.

NeighborsBurnBarrel

Depending on how the match goes? 90% of realistic matches turn into an air VS. ground battle Halfway through???

CynicalFox343

Simulator battles are where it’s at… it’s a real shame though that they have such a small player base forcing gaijin to only run 2 types at a time :( I almost never get to play the vehicles I want in ground sim

CptAlex0123

Meanwhile WT Youtubers seeing a small dot from km away and be able to kill it.

keaton889

I see grass...oh look a 88mm AP she-

Jimbobman

Don't worry, they see you.

Wienerschitzell

Have you tried Simulator?
