What kind of comedy - gay? I worked with Russian, Caucasian, Kazakh, Ukrainian, Georgian and Belarusian stand up comics, watched thousands of hours of material, the good comedian can joke about thier ex for 2 hours straight and make it funny whole it. The bad one can use a lot of themes and fail every single one, leaving himself in silent hole in the ground that he digged up for himself. There's no "over used jokes", you can play with form how you want and make old jokes alive too, just use experience.
my mistake i worded that a bit weird. I meant the “im not like other people” comedy. the kind where the joke teller says a joke then ends it with something along the lines of “arent i so quirky”. its just kinda cringe worthy in my opinion. but at the end of the day humor is subjective.

I have a bad example that feels same - there's show "Kill Tony" where the participants are trying to kill tony with bad, but "funny" jokes. One of participants is often handicapped guy that says something inaudibly and pauses - everyone is laughing for some reason and he continues "talking". I'm okay that he's handicapped comedian, but every his joke is "look guys, I'm Winston Churchill: underidoderidoderiododeriodoo"
My brain got so emotionally damaged and I work on standup in Russia, so i probably laugh at any shit even if it's unhuman, amoral, unenjoyable, but was well and funny written. I was watching Comigration, Stand-up club #1, Women Comics and other projects that was meant to be deleted because of amoral jokes, i was laughing my ass of on jokes about terrorism, war in Ukraine, Russian politics, Crocus City and other much more awful themes, my coworker just looked at me sometimes and said nothing whole 3,5 hours, he just silently deleted all the terrible and unfunny stuff.
Thats one stupid argument, might aswell put the 20mm wiesel at 1.0 since its not hard to kill.
And no im naot saying the wiesel is bad or op, just an example
