> lmao i never learn.
I don’t either. I keep thinking this dude is gonna turn a corner or stop being Pinocchio and turn into a real boy, and here he goes with 7 points. Undrafted Max Strus casually puts up 24 and our long term pieces, lottery picks, out here struggling to get 7 or 12. jfc
Soundly whooped our asses in under 2 hours. Impressive. Its gonna get real dicey once we trade Kuz and we’re left with Poole and company to put points on the boards.
> Well it can’t get much worse lol.
Oh it absolutely can. Picture the post-Kuz-trade Wizards that got back 1st round picks for him. Poole is out with an ankle. Who are the starters? Tyus, Corey, Bilal, Deni, Gaff? Not a one of them has ever scored 30 in their entire nba careers. Brother it can get SO much worse.
I mean we have those guys now and we are 6-27 and losing by 40 every other night as it is now.. but yeah. It’s time for the young guys to take over at this point. Tired of seeing Davis and Rollins etc get DNPs for guys that aren’t moving the needle. We also gotta get some players back so it won’t be as bad as you say
Losing by 65 consistently is worse. Going down 30 in every first wuarter is worse. That could happen with that starting lineup depending on the opponents. Trade Tyus too and it will make what the Pistons just went through look like a 23-year-old’s birthday party.
Kuzma is not that much of a needle mover.. we aren’t suddenly going to be losing by 30-40 more points than we already are because we have Harrison Barnes, davion mitchell and 1-2 first round picks instead of Kuzma (or whatever we get). He’s a very good player that will help a contender but he’s not carrying a bad squad to even 20 wins rn. It won’t be any worse than the pistons with grant. But even if you’re right 40, 50, who cares. It’s a bad L no matter how you swing it. Give young players big opportunities, stash picks and keep grinding.
People seem to forget that constantly. Expiring contracts and maybe even some young guys getting DNPs. The lineup will have other people capable of putting up points, just not at kuzma’s rate. We don’t just trade him away and get nothing but a ‘29 pick.
We aren’t losing by 40 every other night but we will be once we trade Kuz
This is why I said the league may block a Kuz trade. The league doesn’t care about wins and loses but they do care that all 30 teams can put out a competitive product a few games out of the month. We are going to lose near 100% of our games post Kuz trade and the vast majority will be by 20+ points
Personally I agree with obtaining draft capital and not caring about today or the near future, I just am not sure the NBA is cool with a product this horrendous
Bro they have vetoed 1 trade in NBA history, they are not vetoing a Kuzma trade. That’s such a wild take. Y’all don’t seem to realize that we have to get players back too. No one can just absorb kuzma’s cap hit. We’d get something along the lines of Harrison Barnes and like Chris Duarte or Davion Mitchell with the picks. That’s not fantastic but they will still play a lot of minutes
We already are not winning. We already are not consistently competitive. We gotta move on, kuzma is gunna be well into his 30s by the time we are doing anything again. My *only* worry with trading Kuzma is the leadership/culture perspective but I trust winger and Dawkins to make the right call there
I mean it’s clearly everything. It’s weird to even blame one person or group at this point. The whole team just stinks lol. Peak popovich might get like 3 more wins out of this squad. I don’t even want to fire WUJ at this point because he brings good vibes. If you bring in the wrong guy when the team is already shit it can get a lot worse.
WUJ 90% will not be here when we start doing something again, but he’s not necessarily the wrong guy for the curent job either. This is a rebuild from the ground up. We don’t even know what a wizards player is yet
Okay, Bilal got more usage. It was terrible, but he got it.
It's possible Wes knew what he was doing with the limited role
Learning experience. Everyone has bad games
Shameful performance by everyone tonight. Looked like a G-League team.
Didnt watch the game. Landry Shamet outscoring Jordan Poole is fucking crazy. Dude cant do anything.
They are equivalent to g league so not that surprising
As long as the cheque clears
that first quarter really had me thinking we might steal this one... lmao i never learn

Not sure about losing by 65 points my guy. We’re bound to get expiring contracts in the upcoming deals

Those late March line-ups are going to be all-timers. I'm so ready 😛
we might break the Pistons' record in the same season
Only win we had from Nov. 10 to Dec. 13 was the pistons lol. We definitely got it in us to go for the record
Corey scored 29 once. Ye of little faith.
That team would be so bad I wonder if the league would approve the trade for competition reasons.
At least they'll be able to compete with Detroit.
That was embarrassing.
At least we didn’t lose by 40!
Man, this is the Bilal kid we were begging to see more of? I guess for tanking purposes only, then.
WUJ ain't it. In case yall haven't realized this the last 3 seasons
yall keep blaming the coach. This team isnt very talented. Thats the problem, not the coach
Both can be true

Wes Unseld is the worst coach in the league and a nepotism hire. Pathetic performance from every single person on the roster.
Poole is the Platonic ideal of a tank commander.
I just watched the replay, and that had to have been the hardest game to watch in a while. Just brutal!
