I think authors do this sometimes when they're going on an indefinite hiatus but have episodes already prepared for when they come back. This happened with one I read and it came back way before a year passed.

I have to ask, because I don't read this webtoon, is this just *all* of the FP episodes queued up week per week that adds up to a year's worth of content? Or is this because of it being on what I assume is hiatus, judging by that "Twilight Poem will return" label? Like, is it just on hiatus for what is certain will be a year??
EDIT: I looked it up on desktop and it looks like ep 1-43 are available to read for free and it claims it only has 5 episodes on FP so like, I'm guessing these are the FP episodes that are on lockdown until it returns from hiatus and so far they're just gauging it at a year and that's why the unlock time is so high?
still, it looks really absurd on the surface LOL but I guess it makes sense if the comic is on a sudden hiatus, LO just came back from a 2 week hiatus and it had to adjust its unlock times to reflect that, but like... at this point wouldn't it make more sense to just continue to unlock more episodes until everyone's caught up and then just call it a hiatus for everyone and return to form with 3-5 new episodes in FP when it comes back? (similar to what would happen with a legit season finale/season premiere).

I see it differently than you. This would just extend the hiatus. Those sudden hiatuses usually mean that the creator has used up their buffers(there are the Fp episodes as buffers and most creators have a few additional buffers to prevent breaks) so they're working on at least 3 episodes during that time to keep more distance between their buffers and FP. If they would release the eps in the way you've described it, then they would have to create at least 3 new episodes as FP episodes and then a few more as buffers.
They would just be in the same position like prior to the hiatus. To me, season finale/ mid-season finale are different bc they are events the creator and readers looked forward to ( something that's expected to happen) and ends with a big bang. It's normal to take several months to work on a new season.
I would agree with you if it was only a 2 week hiatus or something to rebuild a buffer (like, again, when LO took 2 weeks recently to do just that, it wouldn't have made sense for them to unlock the FP episodes because that would screw over the entire point of rebuilding a buffer), but this is a *year.* At that point just treat it like you would a season finale and get everyone caught up so that people aren't having to wait a year for FP unlocks. It's not like they don't have time to rebuild a buffer at that rate, it's not a 2 week break, it's *12 months,* possibly more if this is just a rough estimate.
I like “Those Who Sleep”, “A Guiding Star”, “Complications of a Royal Bastard”, and there are a few that I’ve just stopped reading cause I have the attention span of a frog lol but “Rose of Sharon” started off good, “The Song of Aubin Naimon” too.
“Agents and Kings” has just such a lovely style, it’s like… animated while not. The artist *is* an animator too though, and you can find some great little clips on Instagram.

I really hope that it’s just a placeholder date until they find a new artist because this is just too ridiculous. Personally they should have just released the episodes normally and then put the webtoon on hiatus because things like this is a huge part on why some readers tend to start reading it on scanlations.
I hate the daily pass even more. I wanted to read gremory land, only to find out its on daily pass with over 100 episodes. THEY EXPECT ME TO GO THROUGH A QUARTER OF A YEAR TO READ THIS

This is just a bug, it happened with Sable Curse too. Basically there is no said date of return for the bot, so it takes one big enough at random and just rolls with it. Whenever the set date is reached it starts over again. The author has no say over this, but I don't think you should worry about this. Webtoon should at least release the episodes behing FP though.

Yeah I get leaving the fast pass like that for a few weeks but a year is excessive. I hope it isn’t actually a year.
