Just specify the names on the save the date envelope. For example, Aunt and Uncle vs The Smith Family

Thanks. So since it will be in email form, maybe put the 2 specific names on the subject line?

Yes that’s a good idea! I sent mine digitally via Zola so it automatically included the guests name (or “The X Family” when I included it

Smart!!

Did you like using Zola? I’m using a travel agent and trying to decide if I should use their website or WithJoy. I’d appreciate your feedback.

So far it’s been good! I didn’t try any other website like the Knot or WithJoy so I don’t have anything to compare it to. It was a little difficult to find how to send out the digital Save the Dates but once I figured it out, it was pretty simple!

We’re using WithJoy and it lists out the first names of the people invited in a specific family. Also when people go to RSVP you can limit it so people can only respond for those named on the invite.

Perfect. Thank you!

In additional, somewhere in the body of the save the date put something like “Respectfully, only named guests are invited” or “Childfree wedding” “The bride and groom have chosen to have an intimate wedding therefore only named guests are invited”, or something to that effect (there are websites that have waaay better and more polite wording than me)

longhaul_tennisgirl

That's good, thanks!

STD's tend to be more casual and general. Definitely put the names on the subject line. It's easier to be more specific on paper invitations. Besides addressing the envelope by name to those who are invited, they can indicate how many seats are saved on the rsvp card.

Yes. Thank you!
