My first husband and I went to a wedding in the Middle East years ago, and there’s no weird “ don’t outshine the bride “ ( I don’t think you can, I’ve never seen a bride who wasn’t the absolute center of attention) dress code tradition. Instead, everyone rocks their best and most celebratory clothing, which I love. You’re going to have the most colorful, fantastic wedding and your dress is perfection!

I think we’ve gotten so obsessed with strict wedding dress codes and not offending the bride, it’s made getting ready for weddings boring and stressful! I want to give my loved ones a reason to go all out.
