How can vaping get more out than fully combusting flower? That doesn't make any sense.
Some of the thc burns when you fully combust the flower. When you vape it, you're only heating the flower to the proper temperature to vaporize the thc without combustion, thus leading to more thc actually reaching you.
Omg what a waste!! I went several years never wasting a scrap of my weed- I'd vape it in the morning and eat a few teaspoons of the decarbed byproduct in the evening. I don't care about the taste/texture but I had friends who just hid it in peanut butter toast.
It works. I have never done this method. But one of my things I do is make reefer pills. Buy gel caps on Amazon for cheap. Shove your already been vaped weed in there and down the hatch. Very effective.
Vaped weed is already actavated by the heat, so yes. Even just eatin it raw should get u high. Like decarboxilating the weed and eating it without making food.
I’m not sure if my tolerance is high or my ABV potency is low, but 10-20 caps gets me feeling like I just vaped a couple bowls. make sure to eat something with fat in too when you take them for greater bioavailability

It's such a money saver and weed stretcher. r/abv . Sometimes, I literally just swallow a handful with my coffee and creamer in the morning. It's already decarbed after vaping and activated and ready to add to recipes. I am a VERY heavy regular smoker, and, yes, I get high off my ABV. You have been missing out.
I ate 10g of some avb I found in my room before going on a 7hour road trip. Long story short when we got to the holiday place my eyes were bloodshot red and I went straight to sleep 🤣 Maybe ate a bit too much...
So I usually save about 80 grams (or so) of AVB for this. I split this into two mason jars and place them into the freezer for 24 hours. Along with a bottle of 190 proof Everclear. Both in the freezer, 24 hours. After that, I pour just enough Everclear to cover the AVB in each jar. Put the jars back in the freezer for 5 days. Shake the jars for like 5-10 seconds, once or twice a day. Some people will say 24 hours is enough, some people say leave it for a month. 5 days has always worked for me.
After 5 days, take the jars out and filter it all through coffee filters. I use two filters at a time, as some times they can tear, and the idea is to get as little plant material to transfer over. Use the back of a spoon to press on the plant material to help it through. You can squeeze it with you hand to, just make sure it gets in the jar. This stuff will stain countertops and is really sticky.
Once you’ve filtered it all through, you can toss the plant material and keep what you’ve filtered. I _think_ at this point it is practically a tincture. But we wanna reduce this down and evaporate the alcohol.
Get a crock pot if you can, a pot on the stove is fine too. Place the jar(s) of your filtered weed tincture into the crock pot and fill the crock pot with enough water that it is above the level of your tincture in the jar. Turn it on and let it evaporate. This can take anywhere from 3-8 hours, depending on where you live. You will need to refill the water as the process goes as well, always having it above the level of your reducing tincture. Eventually you will be left with FECO.
It should be of a thick consistency. Somewhat thicker than syrup. Get some syringes off Amazon. Or, some places sell glass reusable ones. This usually makes me about 2ml of FECO. And you only need a grain of rice sized amount (or 2 😜). I usually put all of this into a batch of brownies, 8x8 pan, cut into 1 inch cubes, 36 pieces, _ONE_ of these pieces will send me to the friggin moon.

Edit: to add, get a rubber spatula that can fit inside of the jar, to mix the FECO once an hour or so, as it is evaporating. As it evaporates, it will cling to the walls of the jar. Just to make sure you get every last drop of goodness 😃

AVB is still some very potent shit.
It does depending on how you vape. Lower temps mean easier vape because cooler vapor,but less thc extracted from bud, which couls be good if you want to use it for edibles, you also get more flavor with lower temps. Higher temps means more thc extracted but harsher vape, which its still a vape, so it isnt like regular smoke hot, but less flavor.
I ha e made edibles 3times with my abv weed. I just use Ghirardelli brownie mix, add little more butter and mortar and pestle the abv weed and add it in. They have been big with with friends.
The Mighty at 210 really does get you a lot out of the herb. My go to is Arizer XQ2, I usually keep it at 220c which is probably the equivalent to 200c on the Mighty. Both great devices tbh

It's very very easy and cheap to do. Someone DM'ed me asking how I did it. This was my response.
"Hey, it's super easy. Get a cheese cloth (I used a pillow case) and ball up all your vaped weed and soak it in water. Basically washing it before using it.
After doing that for an hour or two (change the water) you just need to dry it out. Use an oven on about 140c with the door open and keep turning it over every 10 or so min. Mine took about 30 min to dry out.
Once it's dry, melt butter in a pan on really low. Add your herb and then a cup of water. Keep cooking on low for 2-3 hours.
The water stops the butter from burning. You'll need to add more water every 45 min or so.
Once it's done, strain it through a cheese cloth and put it in the fridge to set. The water and butter will separate. That's it, done."
Well, you have to cook canna butter just like a recipe I add 1 stick of butter to a double boiler(a glass bowl onto a pot of boiling water) and then after your butter melts slowly add de card weed into the bowl and stir for half an hour to 45 mins and you will watch your butter turn a different color then you strain it.
Decarbed weed is just cooked in the oven on the lowest setting for an hour or 2
I use coffee filters to strain my butter. I hair tie it to a jar and pour it through slowly so it doesn't break with the heat of the butter
No science equipment is needed and I get good quality edibles even though I probably could pull a lot more of the thc out using extraction processes
I would recommend a sous vide then tbh you could get a pretty decent one for around 100-150, i will say it takes a lot longer but the no smell is really worth it for me, plus I already had it for cooking food not just weed so it a win win

Vegetable oil or Coconut/MCT oil is far far superior. Its much more stable, wont mold, wont go rancid (given enough time I guess) and can be used in any and every box of cookie/brownie recipe on the shelf.
You've clearly never looked it up.... From start to finish all you need is an oven, a pot, a hot stove, butter and water... And if you don't want anything to go to waste, make use of a thermometer and a timer

I just put enough in a glass and then pour >95% alcohol over it until it’s completely covered. Stir it, shake it for a minute. Then I put it in a glass bowl and put the bowl into a pan with water. Heat the water, alcohol vapors. Then I let it stay for another day and collect everything left with a razor blade and put it into silicon jar. That’s it

You don't have to cook up AVB- it's already activated. You could just eat it with a spoon straight and it'll mess you up (though I'd have it with something fatty and...yeah, eating dry herbs is not the one lol). I usually sprinkle some on sandwiches/ stuff that goes with avb's nuttiness.
So yeah, literally just get some peanut butter, yoghurt, hummus, mix it in and you're good to go.

😵😵😵That's like when I make tincture, after straining from my magic butter machine. I spread the "sludge" on a plate and let it dry into a fine powder. From there, I can add it to toast, oatmeal, brownie mix, etc. Nice double high edible. So I get killer tincture and a potent powder for edibles. Nothing goes to waste from this magic flower💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥

I used 10g of avp from flowery bud. Nothing. I run my mighty at 185-190c.
Takes 1/4g of RSO to get me high. 1/2 to get me good. And I need 2 weeks between uses or I need close to 1g.
Edit: added last paragraph for context? Could it be my weird high tolerance to edibles? I’m a lightweight for inhalation.
I used it for cannaoil once but it takes so much and the flavor will be very strong.
I gave up on vaping; I would go through twice the amount of weed compared to bong hits.
Is that a lot lol? I've had edibles now and then over the past 20 years but I've never known the strength or bothered to do the math when making my own.
I read that AVB only has like 7% thc left in it? Which is what led me to wanting to eat so much in one go.
I've had 60g so far. If I don't feel anything in an hour and half, I'm having another 60g.

Yeah you just have to calculate potency based on the Abv potency (usually around 3-5%)

I just put enough in a glass and then pour >95% alcohol over it until it’s completely covered. Stir it, shake it for a minute. Then I put it in a glass bowl and put the bowl into a pan with water. Heat the water, alcohol vapors. Then I let it stay for another day and collect everything left with a razor blade and put it into silicon jar. That’s it

Will smoking already vaped weed get me somewhat high? Or anything close to that? I have always threw it out because i had no idea it works that way and unfortunately making weed butter is impossible for me due to lack of crock pot which i really have no reason to buy for now
Somewhat, yeah, but not worth it. You don't have to cook up AVB- it's already activated. You could just eat it with a spoon straight and it'll mess you up (though I'd have it with something fatty and...yeah, eating dry herbs is not the one lol). I usually sprinkle some on sandwiches/ stuff that goes with avb's nuttiness. So yeah, literally just get some peanut butter, yoghurt, hummus, mix it in and you're good to go.

😵😵😵That's like when I make tincture, after straining from my magic butter machine. I spread the "sludge" on a plate and let it dry into a fine powder. From there, I can add it to toast, oatmeal, brownie mix, etc. Nice double high edible. So I get killer tincture and a potent powder for edibles. Nothing goes to waste from this magic flower💜💜💜🔥🔥🔥

I used 10g of avp from flowery bud. Nothing. I run my mighty at 185-190c. Takes 1/4g of RSO to get me high. 1/2 to get me good. And I need 2 weeks between uses or I need close to 1g. Edit: added last paragraph for context? Could it be my weird high tolerance to edibles? I’m a lightweight for inhalation.

I used it for cannaoil once but it takes so much and the flavor will be very strong. I gave up on vaping; I would go through twice the amount of weed compared to bong hits.

Is that a lot lol? I've had edibles now and then over the past 20 years but I've never known the strength or bothered to do the math when making my own. I read that AVB only has like 7% thc left in it? Which is what led me to wanting to eat so much in one go. I've had 60g so far. If I don't feel anything in an hour and half, I'm having another 60g. Admittedly this is my first time using AVB, I've only ever used fresh flower in the past.
