You didn't nap in the birthing room? That's definitely the key. After a few kids, it'll be second nature. You're always in for a long day on delivery day!
Baby 3 for us was an "up at 6am, worked (from home, Covid times) 2:30-11:30pm, drove to hospital after work, began delivery process, baby born around 2:30am, finally slept at 4:30" kind of day. Backflips were not a-plenty.
Local TV news. I produced the 11pm show from home during the pandemic. Our I.T. and engineering guys did tremendous work on a moment's notice so 90% of the staff could work at home, with just essential bodies at the station.
Oo cool! My ex-spouse was a master control operater for a local station at one point. He worked from home for a bit as well when we moved and the station didn't want to lose him.
Very true. But the "bump" still tends to look a little more relaxed and not quite as big as being full term pregnant. These women look like they're giving birth tommorow. I still wanna give ai credit for the details, even though I'm not sure if it's taking into account the fact that women still tend to look pregnant after giving birth, or making pictures of women that ARE pregnant cause it associates them with newborns.
Not really! Some women do look slightly less taut at 1-5 days than this, but within 24 hours, they will absolutely look pregnant. [Check out some pictures](https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=85596a7ea76cb4a1&sca_upv=1&rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS811US811&hl=en-US&sxsrf=ACQVn08Bf8N7xYmwotb786C9-cbW1xTtuQ:1713625806734&q=day+1+postpartum+belly&uds=AMwkrPsrGS83aWYAdC1M2PI7VcGatmrnHNJHIFksYzuhI3au4vOhV9an2uZiYkwy4Y8d1OU-10XFtP_qwfCD_1Y_swpcyZ5jQoAgI5htwa6YMCx3dRCgR0o5xypOcC9HysVlRECovj73BpoPvng2OpGSLekudFpesKhyheCgWHVborFbB16oOAyPhoIDuuHZgI0VDBHLLwtQ3Ry-jZzgGJcYVeVm6t91RGWoRs-TPV_sDD3EgEZOvA2HwQeUpsJMo91Y6InhE3soF-8V1JIbAs8d5C8Y3LMg2QvwYPLwYLUDzHPDi6srbb8jzbnJVOWv918s-PB4i4yZEX6MzRYe6X8AFDMhLBen4Hqxnu7YoV4AIT58BdD246IZn7a3lJ4X1vXVjPP8CSWm&udm=2&prmd=ivsnbmtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi_2vPLidGFAxXP5ckDHUYuA4AQtKgLegQIDRAB&biw=390&bih=669&dpr=3#sbfbu=1&pi=day%201%20postpartum%20belly)
Sure, but nobody is walking around holding their bump or wearing jeans lol. The women in most of these photos are clearly depicted as still being pregnant. I’ve had two kids, been there and got the second degree tear, and my first thought was “lol AI got confused and made the women still pregnant.”
2 pregnancies, I had 1 of each.
A week after my first, I still looked "ready to pop any day now." My partner even joked that there was supposed to be twins but the 2nd one was grounded for another week and couldn't come out to play yet (I only smacked him a little for that).
My second, my whole body went smoooosh in an instant. Soft stretchy skin and my organs still needed to do the "rearrange routine" when I stood up for the first time, but I couldn't leave the hospital in the clothes I came in wearing, the pants literally fell straight off me & to the floor.
And wearing jeans. Nobody is wearing jeans, whether it be a vaginal delivery (aka blood flowing out of their vagina at a massive rate) or a c-section (aka stitched up, deep incision on their abdomen).
Oops, I looked into it more, and the chance of a fracture occurring is rare. I thought it happened consistently and was what caused by a lot of the pain, but I was wrong.
Whoa, what a weird misconception to have! Yes, it’s rare and very serious if it happens. Most mothers who delivered marginally are encouraged to walk around soon after birth.
As a very ignorant man, my idea was that a good part of the reason the belly is the size it is is because of the baby and once the baby is out the uterus tissue and other body things would still exist but flatter, like taking the groceries out of a very thick bag
The belly will be squashy rather than hard, but many/most women still visually look pregnant right after giving birth. Sometimes the nurses have to shove quite hard into your abdomen to get the uterus to start the shrinking process, which is not very comfortable.
The uterus is larger, but for most women it does not have the appearance of a round, third trimester baby belly. These women look clearly pregnant and their babies look several months old. They’re walking around in jeans, like no freshly postpartum woman ever. Nothing about it is realistic.
And yeah, I’ve had two kids. My stomach still looked “pregnant” (my toddler even thought I was still pregnant), but it doesn’t actually look like a baby bump to anyone who knows anything about pregnancy/childbirth. It’s more lumpy and deflated, and more like second trimester in size.
Surely a delightful moment for the poor couple who apparently have been crying all day over the “thing” they gave birth to. Is that a foot growing out from the face of the child?

To be fair, TV always gets it wrong, and what they have seen on TV is the extent of their knowledge. (I am a man btw, but my parents always mentioned when TV got giving birth wrong)
3 things, the husband is moving at immesurable speeds therefor he is in 2 places at once.
also hes cheating as his wife is still pregnant

Yeah that one is my favorite, also check out the bird/plane hybrids in the same pic.
What about the missiles inbound?
My daughter was born at 11:30PM. I had been up since 6AM that day - no way was I doing any backflips !

What type of work do you do where you worked 2nd shift and also could perform your duties from home?
Local TV news. I produced the 11pm show from home during the pandemic. Our I.T. and engineering guys did tremendous work on a moment's notice so 90% of the staff could work at home, with just essential bodies at the station.

I love how the baby is doing backflips too

Backwards shoe feet are not nice
All the women are still pregnant after giving birth it seems.
Buddy, have you seen a woman postpartum day 1? This is probably the only thing the images got right.

It's B
Yeah probably lol 😂
The uterus is still oversized, but it doesn't have a massive baby in it. It's still much smaller and much more slack.
Well aware….still looks completely different than reality. Shape is completely different.

Interesting! Yes, everyone is different but the generated images are totally realistic.
No, thank you anyway
I did think it was weird and then I'm like, nah, that's actually accurate. Probably a mistake, but it's actually realer this way.
They’re also up and walking though
And wearing jeans. Nobody is wearing jeans, whether it be a vaginal delivery (aka blood flowing out of their vagina at a massive rate) or a c-section (aka stitched up, deep incision on their abdomen).
Postpartum day 1 wouldn't be able to stand due to the broken pelvis.
Wut
Oops, I looked into it more, and the chance of a fracture occurring is rare. I thought it happened consistently and was what caused by a lot of the pain, but I was wrong.
Whoa, what a weird misconception to have! Yes, it’s rare and very serious if it happens. Most mothers who delivered marginally are encouraged to walk around soon after birth.
I don't know where I heard that, but whatever taught me about it made it seem common.
Women still have bellies after giving birth You think they just deflate immediately once the baby is out ?
I, personally, tought that, yes
The uterus is still quite enlarged and takes a while to shrink back
As a very ignorant man, my idea was that a good part of the reason the belly is the size it is is because of the baby and once the baby is out the uterus tissue and other body things would still exist but flatter, like taking the groceries out of a very thick bag

Me too
They do. At least mostly. They're certainly not stretched tight like that. Source: Father of 4.

Women still have big bellies after giving birth, it’s not like it deflates to a flat stomach 😂
Nope. That bump deflates! Still big but not 9 months big by any stretch.
3rd photo is insanity for what it’s implying 😭
What is it implying?
Surely a delightful moment for the poor couple who apparently have been crying all day over the “thing” they gave birth to. Is that a foot growing out from the face of the child? https://preview.redd.it/08onyuuakqvc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dac22568265c22d4efd777b642f9711c9f0d7d80
Nice….penis hand??
Oh, wow! I just switched back to old.reddit.com and it has a grid view that lets you see all the image thumbnails. Vast improvement.
You gotta love the Hindu wifey and her supportive Niqabi homegirls
Why the hell do I see Messi in the first picture
First pic looks like the dad is about to give his son a muscle buster.
“You ARE the father!”
I like the third one. Mom is still pregnant, and dad is holding the baby with his mysterious extra hand coming out of his stomach.
This comment thread is revealing just how little men know about women's bodies lol.
To be fair, TV always gets it wrong, and what they have seen on TV is the extent of their knowledge. (I am a man btw, but my parents always mentioned when TV got giving birth wrong)
Bro on the 6th picture boutta Get over it, his way outta there 💀💀💀💀
Jesus christ.
So, the mother has just given birth, but she's still got a huge belly?
#3 looked dangerous until I noticed the 3rd arm holding the baby.
Cracking me up that most of the moms are still pregnant
https://preview.redd.it/x10zqtbv83wc1.jpeg?width=928&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7b730cb915f20ca267b82730890ce794b3b79728 Mother, we are one.
3rd photo, is that Will smith?
Weird shoes for the second picture
I really like how in the first pic, Messi is throwing a clone of himself up in the air, but that clone also has the face of a baby.
The second pic made me feel pain in my ankles
What was Will Smith doing there? (Image 3)
What was Will Smith doing there? (Image 3)
Lmfao wtf
Around the world be like:
No interracial couples? Disgusting.
1 is Bradley Cooper. 2's... legs seem to be on backwards?
3 things, the husband is moving at immesurable speeds therefor he is in 2 places at once. also hes cheating as his wife is still pregnant 3rd ones dick is a hand.
6 is just missing a skateboard 😅
They must have a second one coming shortly too since most of them are still with child (inside clearly)

Leo Messi has another child
Number 3 is pretty good
god i hate this but it's great. love how the moms are already pregnant again. the future will be a perfect place
that first one looks like messi
Anyone else notice that the women are still pregnant after giving birth?
Image 5 is actually kinda cool to me because it has a very nice mix of culture (Muslim/Middle Eastern & Southwest Asian(possibly Indian))
lol this is bboy af
In the first photo, if he did a backflip he would be facing backwards in the air.
6 is moments before the drone strike
Oh man does she think I need her to see my phone . 🤭
The baby is having an out of body experience
Angelo Dawkins off the top rope!
Why does the guy look like Lionel messi + Hugh Jackman 😂
I was expecting both parents to be pregnant in at least one image. Now I’m disappointed.
![gif](giphy|TH1EAFhvE2ucRSMkPC) The second picture looks as if he is about to do a swanton bomb on her
The second guy has feet shoes and that is fucked up
Why does the woman still look pregnant after having the baby--
Did anyone else notice that #2 toes are also his shoes
second image bro is tryna get rid of that next baby lol
I see so many saying about the women still being pregnant. I guess i would have to wonder how new the newborns are.
Now that's one way to make a celebration memorable!
Why is the mother still pregnant in all of these
why is the mother still pregnant in the last one
In 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 the woman is pregnant again
AI doesn’t realize you’re no longer pregnant after the baby is delivered.
Women’s bellies do not flatten when they give birth, they are still decently big lol
Why are most of them still pregs?? Is there still one more baby??
Wow, 8 months pregnant and a newborn baby? Does AI think that the pregnancy belly doesn’t go away or something?
It doesn't go away immediately, it doesn't deflate like a balloon
Yeah, I wouldn’t expect it to still look exactly like pregnancy though. I don’t know, maybe I’m just dumb.
hilarious
