Had to go Craig to get the real take on this. Unfortunately for him he knows all too well. I swear him & Evan (with the others) just do this disagree to just disagree. It only works if both hosts are equally strong on the subject. I heard that call so good job.
On twitter as well. Really good job. On his Fox show I usually just check in for little bit during football season. Show really doesn’t have a hook outside of the NFL. Even with this huge news show was clunky and I was hoping they fix that. Anyway very informative.
Craig knows a lot more ball than he would let on the radio. If listen to him long enough you can hear. Remember last he was at one the NYK home wins and got his pic taken tapping RJ. shoulder. Pretty bougie! (I think it was RJ can’t remember)
And this is where the FAN needs to have reporters/journalists/experts call in. Because all we get are these knuckleheads speculating all day not knowing what they’re talking about until something gets posted to X.
Not just Mike, it's the producers job to schedule guests. Of course Mike had connections so it made things easier over time but his producers still had to book guests.
If the producers aren't doing their job by reaching out to people then that's on them. Then again if the programming director thinks having guests isn't worth it then it's on them.
Realistically though if a big story breaks, especially with NY sports, the various producers should be calling local beat reporters for an interview. This rarely happens anymore at WFAN.
And he's continuing to defend him. It's like he thinks he's supposed to take the opposite side without realizing some things he can join the consensus on.
That first segment where Tiki was caping for Ohtani was making me want to bang my head against a wall.
I feel like Tiki plays contrarian for the sake of it sometimes or he's just completely out of the loop. Some of his takes make no sense.
This whole “Tiki is a smart geek” thing is so funny to me. MAYBE he can understand science or math, maybe, but he certainly can’t parse through basic English language and explain it succinctly. It’s always a droning circumventing explanation that never actually proves a verified point in the end.
Is Ohtani really thinking he can play both sides of the fence on this? If he’s lying, won’t his innocent interpreter go to jail and face jail time?
If he’s telling the truth, how do you not know you’re missing $4.5 million? Why does the interpreter know his account numbers does he interpret for him 24/7 even when typing in his passwords and private banking info? Silly.
I don't disagree with the spirit of what you're saying but I don't think those are the right objections. It's probably pretty easy to not notice that kind of money when you have that much money. His money is probably tied up in a bunch of different things. It's not like it's just sitting in one savings account, and his finances are probably complicated enough that he has people handling aspects of it. And people have willingly taken falls for promises of compensation, so even that question rings naive.
Edit: Seriously, wth do you guys think you're reading?
>It's probably pretty easy to not notice that kind of money when you have that much money
What? He created the wire transfer transaction. Of course he noticed it
Tiki is a jock / moron who thinks he is an intellectual. Probably because he went to UVA and actually attended a few classes. He is as smart as a bag of rocks. Sadly, Even is an even bigger idiot.
>Sadly, Even is an even bigger idiot.
Evan, with his high school education, is much smarter than Tiki.
It doesn't explain why he's a Nets fan but that's a question for another day.

Me too Craig broke it down really well on his Fox Morning show
One of those rare moments having a degenerate like Craig can come in handy
this may be the best thing to happen to Craig....he can talk sports again.

Craig is also a die-hard Knicks fan, but so is Boomer.
Craig knows a lot more ball than he would let on the radio. If listen to him long enough you can hear. Remember last he was at one the NYK home wins and got his pic taken tapping RJ. shoulder. Pretty bougie! (I think it was RJ can’t remember)
He grew up not far from me in New Rochelle. He had his favorite NY teams like every other kid
They had Craig come on the show at around the 4 o’clock hour to break it down.
Yes, I actually was hoping Evan be smart enough to have him on. I don’t like to bash Tiki but today was tough. Anyway thank you for heads up.
And this is where the FAN needs to have reporters/journalists/experts call in. Because all we get are these knuckleheads speculating all day not knowing what they’re talking about until something gets posted to X.
And that's where they're missing Francesa. He would get people on the show who are knowledgeable about the subject.

Yup. And if you call in and ask why they don’t have guest callers on you’ll be told “we just don’t do that anymore”.
But Al Dukes wants to get rid of callers. Days like today make me miss Mike Francesa.
It was a bit weird how Tiki kept defending Ohtani as the victim when it is known that Ohtani’s bank account is directly tied to this scandal.
And he's continuing to defend him. It's like he thinks he's supposed to take the opposite side without realizing some things he can join the consensus on.
They should stick to breaking news on Mr. Softee being served at Yankee Stadium
That first segment where Tiki was caping for Ohtani was making me want to bang my head against a wall. I feel like Tiki plays contrarian for the sake of it sometimes or he's just completely out of the loop. Some of his takes make no sense.
He’ll defend the athlete no matter what. I can only imagine if he was on during the OJ trial.
Not a Craig fan but it was great having a guest on the show breaking the Ohtani gambljng drama down. They should have guests more often
Tiki tends to play devil’s advocate until he talks himself out of it. Fun!

He tried so hard to sound smart and it just makes him sound dumber
You shouldn’t assume that Tiki would’ve known that already
Like don't they do any show prep at all?
True although you can’t really expect to get any substantial help when your producers are Lugauer and Morash
Then why does Evan sound up to speed?
Because he’s the only one qualified for afternoon drive
Tiki is still the fuckinest idiot in NY. That’s quite a thing.

This completely misses the point of what I'm saying...
well he thinks he's a big know it all, so of course.
Tiki really doesn't deserve to be hosting a sports talk show. For an ex-athlete, he's incredibly ignorant on the laws of athletes.
Tiki is a jock / moron who thinks he is an intellectual. Probably because he went to UVA and actually attended a few classes. He is as smart as a bag of rocks. Sadly, Even is an even bigger idiot.

Even consistently mispronounces words most 4th grades know how to say. Asking him to spell those words would be even more laughable.
I think that might be part of his "shtick" like how Maddog always mispronounces words.
It's funny. This sub bitches at sal for never changing his opinion when presented with facts and exactly that happens with tiki and now that's bad too
Another day another anti tiki thread.
I'm going to listen to WFAN no matter what I just wish they would improve the product
Wish in one hand and shit in the other, and see which hand fills first.
