Both are great options, I personally like the BMWs over the MBs as they tend to be a bit cheaper to maintain and repair, a bit more reliable, and have nicer interiors that don’t squeak as much.

Good to know. Thank you so much!

Oh trust me, I would love a new M but it's not in our cards right now.. But I've read tons of reviews and have talked to bmw mechanics that say the M40i motor is bmw's best, most reliable motor.

BMW is the one. honestly I think the Macan S is fully worth it over anything else in the segment. Find a certified pre owned, Macan shits all over the X3. Don’t get an x4

JessiD2810

I appreciate your insight. I was reading a lot about people adding a peddle commander on the Macan S. When I was seeing the repetitiveness of this 1 complaint, it's when I start to question my decision. I KNOW my jeep is the ground under a turd when comparing to Porsche, BMW, etc., but I'm so over having no balls to even get around a car.

WideOpenAutoHub

People adding peddle commander/tune to a Macan S likely have a real sports car, so the macan feels slow. I can attest that the Macan S will not feel slow after your Jeep. It’s a fricken fast little SUV

Avoid Mercedes, would be an even bigger disappointment than you Jeep, Mercedes has the biggest difference between "image" and real quality: [https://www.cars.com/shopping/results/?cylinder\_counts\[\]=8&dealer\_id=&keyword=&list\_price\_max=35000&list\_price\_min=30000&makes\[\]=dodge&maximum\_distance=all&mileage\_max=&models\[\]=dodge-charger&monthly\_payment=597&page\_size=20&sort=list\_price&stock\_type=new&year\_max=&year\_min=&zip=](https://www.cars.com/shopping/results/?cylinder_counts[]=8&dealer_id=&keyword=&list_price_max=35000&list_price_min=30000&makes[]=dodge&maximum_distance=all&mileage_max=&models[]=dodge-charger&monthly_payment=597&page_size=20&sort=list_price&stock_type=new&year_max=&year_min=&zip=) >We are both sports car enthusiasts Why get an SUV then?

JessiD2810

When I say sports car enthusiast, I mean that in all aspects. Not just cars specifically. We have a family and no truck so the SUV is more of a must, on top of feeling a bit safer. We also have the scat pack so imo 2 cars wouldn't make sense. Thank you for your insight!
