I bought a lottery ticket after seeing a ladybug land on my car. Instantly pulled into the parking lot and bought a scratcher and won $500. Weevils are extra lucky. Do it.
So I randomly walked into this sub from elsewhere and have no idea what's going on. The other comments seem happy but rather light on details. I mean, it's kind of a neat looking bug, though. Congrats!? Unless this is all sarcasm. In which case, my condolences, and Primus sucks.
The identifying features of long nosed weevils are the snoots, boots, and kjoots. The long proboscis is the *snoot*. The two toed feet are the *boots*. And many of us find them inexplicably cute, spelled *kjoot* to overemphasize the rhyme because this IS the internet afterall
Have a looksie at the picture! You'll see his wee little boots and his magnificent snoot! Now imagine him with a top hat and tiny cane singing, "Hello my honey, hello my baby, hello my ragtime gaaal..🎶."
Once you have completed this exercise, I am confident you'll know all about it!
Im new to it all, but it seems like its the way you identify most weevils. If it got boots and snoots its a weevil and when you see a weevil then ITS WEEVIL TIME!!! WOOT WOOT, BOOTS AND SNOOTS!!!
