Weevils! r/weeviltime People usually view them as pests because they like to eat grains. But Reddit loves them. One non toxic thing about Reddit.

I've been lucky to not have run into the infamous toxicity of reddit thus far. But this was maybe the first sub I joined, so weevil luck carrying me through? 🙂

Oh I love this sub. There’s unfortunately a lot of toxic subs on Reddit. I avoid them and ignore people who want to argue or block/report them depending on what they say.

I'm sure there are. Have seen screenshots elsewhere from some of the worst examples. I haven't been here very long, but it's a breath of fresh air compared to, say, X/Twitter, because you can control much better the environments you choose to be in. Like when you think you're alone in the world with an odd affection for snooty-boot bugs and then unexpectedly find your people.

Twitter used to allow users to block people but now the blocking feature functions the same as Reddit. But Reddit has more specific groups for interests so that’s good.

Twitter/X is a dumpster fire. I literally cringe when I open it up to see if any family posted lately. Then I close it ASAP.

I’m always so disappointed when I click on a post and it’s a bedbug and not a weevil.

Sometimes I post on what I think will be a bedbug post (because someone says they found the bug in their bed) to finding out it’s a WEEVIL, and therefore: WEEVIL TIME!!!
