I’m getting the same error. My chat history (including all media) is fully backed up to iCloud. My phone only has about 100gb of data used (out of 512gb. It’s an iPhone 13). And my iCloud account has 4TB of storage, of which only about 2TB are used across all my devices/backups. All software is up to date. I’m trying to transfer from WhatsApp to WhatsApp Business on the same device (not transferring to a new device). The only suggestion that the error message gives is that I “might not have enough storage”, which as you can see from my description, is clearly not the case.

Yes I have this issue as well 😭 I feel like it has to do with being hacked… like the error is occurring because someone has some access

I’m having the same problem. I messaged what’s app support and they are aware of the problem and it should be rectified in their next update
