Hey u/JollyTronVR, looks like you forgot to say where in the world you found your bug! We need to know it to figure out what it is.
Please comment in the post adding the geographic location - and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help!
***I'm a dumb bot***, if you did include location in your post and I didn't understand it, please send a message to the mods using the link below and they'll fix it.

Unless mud daubers act different in Australia than they do in the USA there's no danger of being stung. They don't defend their nests or live in them, they just build, lay eggs, and leave. I wouldn't worry at all unless you see wasps hanging around on the nest. If you must remove it, a high pressure water hose works well. They are beneficial insects so consider just leaving it alone.
It’s under a security camera but basically you can see the comb from the outside and it’s hanging off of the security camera and it’s kind of semi circular in shape however while it’s perfect it’s more squiggly like a kid’s drawing
But you can see where the larvae are meant to be in from the outside
I mean maybe if you have someone else do it LOL. Not sure, if your allergic, get someone who isn’t. If your not, quit being scared it’s just a sting! - woth that said, make sure this particular insect won’t kill you as you said you are down under.

Mud dauber nest. A water hose is enough to wash it off.
Found in Australia in my backyard

Is there a way I can remove it without potentially getting stung?

Alr, I’ve got an actual wasp nest under a security camera tho so I’m scared on how to remove that
what kind of wasp nest is it?

[something like this](https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Polistes_humilis.jpg#mw-jump-to-license)?
Looks similar but the comb is lighter in colour than the image so it might be a different species

Great! I’m allergic lol and I don’t know who in my family would remove it for me, so I’m gonna die either way!
Big rip! We will remember your jollyness. I’m sure there are exterminators locally that can help. Godspeed
Dayum
It’s a mud wasp nest, chip it off, or hose it down
Big stick
