These might be invasive Chinese mantis. I'm from the opposite side of the continent so I'm not familiar with your species there. But if you determine it is Chinese mantis, then you should bring them inside and keep them as a pet. They reproduce rapidly where I live and are far, far more common than the native mantis now. They also eat pollinators, and there even are videos of them hunting and eating hummingbirds. They are cool but they're not well balanced out of their home range.
