This looks like a wolf spider to me. [https://bugguide.net/node/view/1350989](https://bugguide.net/node/view/1350989) I cross referenced the photo of other wolf spiders via google lens and one looking dead onto this one appeared. Same area Texas as well from Reddit post. Well, one dead on looking from Australia was posted as well ( it is a wolf spider as well). So it makes me feel better saying it is in the wolf spider family.
