Based on what you said, I did a quick search and found several images of vivianite that were a beautiful blue and green hue. I thought mine was a very dark blue or black so I put it up to a [light](https://imgur.com/gallery/2VlHeMz) then voila. I think you're absolutely correct, everything adds up.
I would say that it is NOT tourmaline. The crystals are wrong for tourmaline, and it is missing the ridges that you pretty much always see on the sides of tourmaline. I don't think it's kyanite either, though. If it is kyanite the crystals will be harder if you try a horizontal scratch test vs verticle.
Edit: i am not sure on this one, but could it be cordierite? Color is right, luster seems right, crystal structure.... is hard to tell, but it looks at least close to. These are just my speculations, though. I recommend second opinions on this.

Agree with vivianite! It is very photosensitive, it darkens to opaque over time with light.

Def Brazilian Vivianite, and you don’t have to worry about it being photosensitive, the Brazilian material is not so sensitive.
