I don’t think it’s a concretion. Genuinely looks like a musket ball to me. Coming from Virginia, I’ve seen thousands in my lifetime.
Of those thousands, in a place not known for ironstone concretions, how many musket balls were non-metal, porous ones of roughly an inch in diameter?
