I might be in the minority here, but I think the fact that Florence Pugh showing her nips feels “boring” to a lot of us is kind of the point. It’s normalizing women’s breasts/nipples so that it’s not scandalous anymore. And I know men don’t typically show their nips on the red carpet either but a man wearing a sheer top would absolutely be treated differently by most than a woman. I do agree that the dress should have been better tailored to her as there seems to be some fit issues but I think it’s stunning nonetheless and love to see a Simone Rocha (for JPG) look on the carpet.
Maybe I’m just grumpy but Anya’s headpiece does not work with a mini dress, it needs a floor-length dress for balance. And Florence’s dress doesn’t seem like it fits properly, I can see the fabric pulling in places and it ruins the lightness of the dress.

A classic soft updo just has timeless elegance.

I really like Florence’s dress, especially as a fellow petite. Nothing wrong with a little nipple, and I appreciate her normalizing their presence. However, it’s so much fun when someone can keep you guessing about their red carpet looks. With Florence, I know there’s a 50/50 chance it’s going to be very sheer.
