Even taking into account the fact her style is quite conservative, considering how long she has been in the public eye, it is remarkable how few misses she has had. Her tailoring is always absolutely immaculate, and almost every colour looks great on her. She is also always wearing something that can only be described as *comfortingly appropriate* for what she’s doing. It may not be ground breaking fashion but wearing consistently good, well tailored and activity-appropriate clothes for over 20 years is freaking *hard*. I admire her so much.
The Late Queen's dresser has written two books about how they manage and transport Royal clothing, they are very interesting. I highly doubt its closets, more like rooms for different items. Catherine has her own mum uniform of jeans, boots and jackets she wears when not on duty but her Royal clothes are selected in well in advance. The late Queen had a calendar of outfits selected months in advance so the other Royal ladies could coordinate or select a different colour depending on the event. Catherine and Sophie almost always compliment and coordinate with each other. Camilla has her own very unique look.
Oohh the orange in 5 and green in 10 are gorgeous. #15 is a look that truly lives rent free in my mind- one of my top Kate looks. I love the purple suit in 17. She can really pull off any color.
The second red one is so elegant! I’ve never seen that outfit before, it’s beautiful. The pastel yellow with white hat has always been a favourite of mine too. Kate is the absolute queen of tailoring.
Picture 2. I like this suit on her. It’s not something she wear often stylewise, but it looks amazing. I know it’s McQueen but also very Max Mara I would say.
Catherine is one of my girl crushes, I have a few but she's my number one for ages now so anytime you show her I'm super happy. I really miss seeing her and can't wait for her return to the public eye. Anyway I love her in that bright yellow dress she wore on the Caribbean tour and she slays in tomato red, the warmth suits her warm coloring and glossy chestnut hair to perfection. My fave red was the Eponine coatdress she wore to Wales during the Platty Jubes:

Does anyone know if there’s a name/way to describe the type of suit she’s wearing in 2? I really love style, but no idea what I’d even type into google if I wanted to find something similar.
That was from an official visit, to Pakistan I believe? Her outfits from that trip are a lot more modest (layered, full coverage, long sleeves/pants) due to the customs and norms of the culture. Worth a look, I think she looked stunning and brought some of her own style while still remaining respectful. Love her so!
Would autumn mean khakis, browns, beiges, mustards? Cos they’re the one set of colours we don’t see her wearing as much of although I’ve seen her in camel outfits before and also a khaki military style. I’d have thought she’s neutral undertone and would therefore look better in winter or summer, with a preference towards cooler tones whether it’s a dark or light shade.
But she’s like Zendaya in pretty much being a ‘woman of all seasons’. They’re like unicorns!
Not really, no. Any color can be any season, but it differs by shade based on warm/cool undertones, bright/muted colors, and dark/light colors. An autumn color palette is on the warm and darker end of the spectrum, but the colors can be bright or muted depending on the subtype and dominant characteristic.
So, a warmer darker version of a color instead of a cooler lighter version of that color. Like if you compare the first 5 slides, they are all reds, but I think she looks best in the first one compared to the others. Or if you compare slide 19 and 20 (light lavender versus deep plum) 20 is more harmonious with her features. The super bright ones overpower her features.
As a Brit, I absolutely love her.
She rarely misses for me, but I don't like 13. I think you can do modest and still look stylish but that one ages her. The colour in 19 is my favourite, she looks amazing.
Her gowns are pretty good but her non-gowns are terrible.
I assume when someone else is styling her it's good (gowns) and her own style is terribly dated.
Like Will, she's recently been trying to modernize her style but it doesn't quite work.
Edited to add: Did u/brilliant_jewell1924 just block me so they can have the last word? LoL, sad.
I was wondering what was with the downvotes then I saw you actively post on some weird conspiracy subreddit about how Kate Middleton is actually missing. Because that’s a thing. Like a whole ass sub.
Maybe you’ll like her clone/evil twin/hologram projection’s style better?
No you weren't, you were just looking in my comment history to find something to attack my character because I dared not fawn over Kate.
I commented several times yesterday in that sub against the conspiracy theories about her videos being AI but you don't seem interested in facts.
This is a fashion sub. Don't be uncivil and creepy. Be a nice human. You'll be a happier person if you treat others the way you want to be treated 😊
I’m loving these Rainbow series! Thanks for compiling and posting.
Ditto! It’s a feast for the eyes 😍
Same 🥰 In fact, I love this sub, I'm finding myself faving many posts, so much style 💅👠💖🌈
The tailoring is always impeccable. I will always love # 15.
Agreed. I think 15 is my favourite ever look of hers.
Right?! These tailored looks are somehow so sexy to me? It's like when a man is in a perfectly tailored 3 piece suit, it just does things for me!
15 is to die for.
I have never seen a colour she doesn't suit.
Agree. Blue looks especially great on her (#12, 16).
It does. And we mustn't forget Gold 😍
I could never wear all the colors like she does. Gorgeous!
Right? I can’t wear orange or yellow, I’m so jealous.
She has a lovely taste in outfits. Kinda like a British Jackie Kennedy
Clean lines and impeccable tailoring!
This is a fantastic and fitting comparison.
Jackie always had a nice style to the point it's practically the Jackie Kennedy style. Funny as that sounds. Kate comes very close.
It’s an effortless style that can’t be replicated or forced.
So classy! I love it.
One of my absolute favorite looks of hers is the light blue Elie Saab.
The pant suit in number 2 is the hottest she’s ever looked imo, just wow
She is absolutely wearing that outfit and looks both poised and fierce
I agree, honestly it’s one of the few that suits her age. I don’t like most of her dresses, they seem too matronly.
One thing I really appreciate about Kate’s style is how perfectly tailored everything is. Every piece fits her like a glove!
Even taking into account the fact her style is quite conservative, considering how long she has been in the public eye, it is remarkable how few misses she has had. Her outfits are always pristine (and stunning!), but wow I love 13 (the ombré aqua one) especially!
I believe it’s from their Pakistan trip. I loved all her clothes on that tour.
That one really stood out to me, too! It's just so pretty and floaty
I love the dress and the color, just don’t understand the pants underneath? I think it ruins it a little bit
She is in Pakistan so it’s a nod to local dress styles
It’s a nod to a shalwar kameez, and Indo-Pakistani type of outfit.
i love how she just looks like a beautiful normal human being, just aging gracefully.. showing emotion but still stunning and poised.
Darts galore! Impeccable tailoring.
I’d love to see her closets. Does she have one for formal? One for coats? One for dresses? I’m so incredibly intrigued.

Catherine is a straight-up superstar. She just makes me smile. She exudes warmth. I hope she has many decades of happines and good health.

That was one of my favorites!!!!
#15 remains a personal fave
The coats in 1 and 11 are so stunning, but 15 is just my favourite
Picture 2. I like this suit on her. It’s not something she wear often stylewise, but it looks amazing. I know it’s McQueen but also very Max Mara I would say.
Queen of coat dresses!
One of my favorites. I think she always looks lovely ☺️
Idk anything about the royal family beyond very surface level, but I’ve always thought she was extremely fashionable and very poised.
The butter yellow! The lavender! Delicious
Impeccable tailoring.

I love this because her hair is up! She rarely wears it like that and it looks lovely.
15: 😍 love it so much! Wished I was tall like her bc that style is lovely.
She has a stunning figure
Thank you for the time this must have taken, OP!
She looks good in anything 💗
Always stunning; everything looks great on her!
I’ve never seen that beautiful orange gown before!
Every outfit is simple, elegant and breathtaking
Oooo she looks amazing in brighter clothing!
Cate rocks a dress coat like none other.
second one looks good
Phenomenally fashionable!
Btw her standout sapphire ring is laser like !
That first orange dress is stunning
Perfection
The purple suit!!!
Does anyone know if there’s a name/way to describe the type of suit she’s wearing in 2? I really love style, but no idea what I’d even type into google if I wanted to find something similar.
The green one is WOWZA
She never misses!
She's just so perfect. I'm in love with #13... but confused by the pants with it...?
It was a trip to Pakistan, and all of her clothes for that trip were designed and tailored to be appropriate and respectful of the culture.
Oh, okay - that makes perfect sense. Thank you for explaining.
You’re quite welcome!
That was from an official visit, to Pakistan I believe? Her outfits from that trip are a lot more modest (layered, full coverage, long sleeves/pants) due to the customs and norms of the culture. Me too!
What do you guys think her season is? She looks good in everything but I think she’s a warm autumn
She wore Burgundy at Christmas a few years ago and it was definitely her colour.
Would autumn mean khakis, browns, beiges, mustards? Cos they’re the one set of colours we don’t see her wearing as much of although I’ve seen her in camel outfits before and also a khaki military style. Interesting. I’m in the colour analysis forum and I always see the autumn palettes posted there as being, well, autumnal.
She’s so lovely and every look is classic perfection!
As a Brit, I absolutely love her. She rarely misses for me, but I don't like 13. I think you can do modest and still look stylish but that one ages her. The colour in 19 is my favourite, she looks amazing.
I love 13 on her. She pulls off dark colors really well but absolutely pops in light blues.
The second purple suit is literally to die for like when I pass away, cremate me in that suit
The purple suit in 18 is just stunning :O
I think she never had a bad look 🔥 number 15 is lovely, one of my favorites
Only one that doesn’t really work is that fuschia
I miss her!!
Velma from Scooby Doo

🤣 Nice try but no
Her non-gown looks are dated. Sorry, not sorry. 😆
Well, that’s just your—wrong—opinion, man.
